dingdangnabbit! & all those reall screwed up words
i made it all the way down temple in Nabudis...fought all those little assholes, some rainbow like horse and oversouls, killed the purple rabbit sad and the "accidently" squished the red fox like creature... got the cool spear which kicks a**...(all that and no save point...geez)
found Chaos... eek elemental jets...damn ...
*break*
come back ...I'm ready...I'm good i think i know how to approach this weapon less (f'ed up cause i just got the spear) stupid oversoul just sucked up my MP points battle....
*pick up controller look at TV* ...Is...OFF?! WTF who the ...ARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH! *gnash teeth, beat chest, tear at hair*
thanks for listening...i was real close to a double homocide..(would have killed him twice!)

I kinda know how that feels. I once was before Jenova (the last one and then you fight sephiroth after that without saving) and my sister made a new file. I was stupid enough to let her. And so it happens she saved her file in mine!! After that I waited exactly two more years just to get enough motivation to actually start the game from the beggining once again.

I did that to myself... I played FF7 all day and made it to the crater at dusk, and then i just wanted to start a new game for some reason. Though i didn't create a backup, so when i saved my thumb moved too quickly, and i erased my game file >.<.

I almost threw the console out the window yesterday. I was so close to beating the game in less than 24 hrs, without saving it, and it fuxing died on me. i was so upset that i broke down and almost cryed. i just got a new one and i have to start all over again!! I don't think i'll ever beat it in less than 24.. crying

I beat it for the millionth time in 25.22.06 hrs igt. I'm a lil pissed cuz it was over 24, but i am gonna try again and again until i beat it in less and less time. Ranting in here made me feel better and made me see i'm not all alone. Thanks fellow ff7 enthusiasts.

Okay. So I bought the guide because I got stuck in this one part. As I was reading in the back of it, I read about a little creature called the Level 99 Red Chocobo.Anyone else heard about this guy? It's a creature in the Ozmone Plane area. It sometimes drops Ribbons, the most powerful accessory in the game. Only problem is, to get to appear, you have enter and reenter the area over 200 times. So I did this, and when it I finally found it... it killed my party with one move.

So I've had only one memory card for my PS2 for a long time and its got all of my gaming files on it. One day though the card got corrupted and I lost everything, absolutly everything! My X files with the 50 hour game file on it (didn't have everything maxed out, so I had been working on it on and off), my XII files including my 35 hour file where I was making my way to Archades for the first time (took me about a year to get the motivation to create a new game and I still havent finished it), and all of the files from the about 30 games I have for the PS2. Now I have two memory cards and save everything twice (call me paranoid but I am NOT going through that again).

I'm so glad I run everything off of hard drives now... even my PS2 has a HDD with all my saves backed up.
My normal problem is that I play for a day or two, then after doing a ton of optional stuff I rush the storyline and die after a huge amount of it. Happened to me playing .hack//G.U. I played for about 17 hours, 13 of that being storyline. Got to the final boss without being actually ready for it... got destroyed. Found myself 10 hours of storyline away from catching up.
