My comp has officially crashed.
*is on his sister's comp*
Dammit. I DIDN'T GET TO BACK UP ANYTHING!!!
Except for a few of my pictures BUT STILLLLLLLLLLLL
My comp had alot of problems for a looooong time.
At first it was like okaaaaay...
Then it resets the time everytime I turn it on.
Then it starts resetting itself like once before turning on.
Then it resets itself twice.
Then it resets itself twice while resetting the time.
Then it was okaaaaaaay again.
Then it started resetting twice and resetting time again.
Then it started resetting many times.
And now I can't get to Windows.
GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!
Just when my CCA required me to do the poster design cos' I'm the only digital artist in my club.
*drags his tablet to school to find a comp with photoshop*
I'm so ******** to mention the error...
WAS CAUSED BY WINDOWS UPDATE

that's horrible..
reminds me of the time my comp died because I KILLED A FREAKING VIRUS which attached itself to an important file BUT HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT...

I think you can still recover your files, don't let them reformat it right away. D: (my mistake, my files could have been saved)
If the problem is you can't get to windows then this might help..

reformatted already? actually, you can still save your stuff. make a slave in another computer, find and save your data. then, reformat.
though I suggest you get a technician to see it (I MEAN A SERIOUS TECHNICIAN AND NOT LIKE THE LAZY GUYS WHO REFORMATTED MINE ;A; )

That happened to me in almost the same sequence waaaay back when.
What we did was.... My stepdad, who is a bit of a computer putter-together kind of person, he put the old HD into a new computer so I could access those files as a secondary source of memory... But then the problem arises with programs and such... that kinda thing is usually lost. >_<
I agree with Odin. D: Don't let anyone who's unsure touch your compy. It takes someone who genuinely knows what they're doing... not some nerd who's learning the ropes. >_< My friend took her compy to a shop who said they could repair and save all her data before fixing the computer, and then they gave it to the new guy who went and saved all this crappy stuff that no one needed and said the rest of the stuff was too 'corrupted' to save... aka he didn't know the right magic dance steps to pull in order to save it. D<

That reminds me of the time my computer broke down in the middle of a very important project. Serves me right for pushing my compy too hard. ;3;
But I hope you can recover all of your important files, at least! I know I'd go mad if all the art saved on my hard disk just up and vanished one day.

Yea take it to someone who isn't a lazy moron...all my files on my other computer could have been saved but instead the guy said he couldn't save them and wiped the hard drive....I was like what a moron he probably just didn't know how to do it....then he sold me a computer with a defective hard drive....needless to say I don't go to him anymore....good luck getting it fixed Bapp!

I don't know your level of computer savvy-ness but if you can get your hands on a bootable CD ROM with LiveLinux, you should be able to recover your files on the hard disk. LiveLinux is an OS that runs from a CD-ROM so you won't need to install anything.
But I definately know that feeling of losing important files. I hope you can recover them biggrin

AWESOOOOOOOOOME!!!
Somehow after leaving it alone for 2 weeks and I turned it on because I hoped I could drag some of my data out, even if the slim chance that I can't get past the Acer page, it went onto my desktop and STAYED.
YAHOOOOOOO!
I hope it won't breakdown again.

I would like to state that Bapp has cursed my computer. =_=
It seems to be trying to pull the same stunt...
However sometimes it doesn't even make it to the startup screen, so I"m getting worried. D:
