Is this the right forum..?

Okay.. I've been bisexual for as long as I can think, but I truly accepted it myself a couple years ago, mainly in the last year. I've only told a couple of my close friends (in real life) but I want to tell my other two close friends (Keila and Hailey). I'm not sure how to tell them.. I'm not even sure how they'd react.. I don't want to be rejected, I am somewhat afraid of rejection, even if I don't show it. I've hinted about it before and we've joked about things like that. I don't lie about my sexuality, I've never told someone "Hey, I'm straight" but I also don't go around saying "I'm bisexual"..

So... How can I tell my friends that I am bisexual without them thinking it's a joke?

I'm not going to tell you what to do since I feel as if everybody's situation is different. I'll just explain what I did.

I don't tell people unless it's necessary. I personally don't see the point of telling people. When I was 16 I came out to two friends during the summer and by the time I came back to school I think most everybody knew.

I just have confidence in myself and who I am. No need for others to know...just let 'em assume.

well for me i only tell people im bi if they ask about my sexuality, other than that i just let people think whatever they want. if they figure out im bi then thats great but if they assume i only like men or women then thats fine too.

my best friend since the 6th grade only found out i was bi last year and we are in our early 20's now.

i dont think you need to tell everyone you know that your bi. as long as you are comfortable with yourself then thats all that really matters

Honestly if you feel like you want to then do it. I came out to my friends I just said im bisexual they looked and said ok and we moved on. Keep in mind tho sometimes you wont always be accepted my mom and my brother are acting like I never said anything about my sexuality but hey it is what it is. Keep in mind your sexuality is only a small part of you not the center of your life.

I'm not telling everyone I'm bi, I don't really care if people know. But I don't know, not telling these two of my friends, it feels like I'm hiding it from them. >Don't ask why, I'm not sure<

Zero// Thanks.

Shanna// Thanks

Link// Thanks. and I know I won't get acceptance from my mom. She's not going to find out >from me< in a long while
