Ahh~ Kijani curled up in the shade of the large willow tree. Truthfully, he wasn't supposed to be over here, but he was overjoyed at not listening to authority figures. Sooner or later, he would get into trouble, not that he particularly cared at this moment.
With a slight nod of the head and a yawn, Sufuraa stretched. Ahh~ what a wonderful nap he had had. It was a bit cool in this area though, Kijani gave a small frown. Perhaps he could go... Find one of the other cubs to play with.
After all, it was a bit boring. Mother said he should find friends that weren't as weak as his father though. Truthfully, his father wasn't that bad. Perhaps more feminine then his more masculine mother.
He supposed that's just how things were.
It wasn't like his parents were mates anyways. The bright-maned cheetah thought back for a moment. His father was weak, true, but his mother went out of her way to hurt the weak male. When he did speak up, he was harshly beaten for it.
Perhaps that was why?
The small creature gave a sigh and pushed himself up. He supposed he could go look for the other cubs now. Perhaps, he could discuss their future job options at this point.
"Hmm..." He gave a small hum, slate eyes traveling around the pride's lands. He figured - today would be interesting, at least.
A dark figure sat with his form facing the lake that seemed to surround the lands. His mind swirled with thoughts of the visions in his minds eyes. The third eye that curled around his forehead.
Some thought it was metaphorical, but know. He could feel the tendrils that enveloped his forehead as he stared into the water.
It was quite painful to say the very least. He had attempted scrying - the ability to See while awake through a liquid such as water.
His late father had been interested in his abilities as a young cub, after he had told him. His father even had a name for his kind - Seer. It made him feel so special. His father gave him all the attention in the world after he told him.
But. That all changed. The Tononeka had gotten violent, and he had to escape. He regretted leaving the Cult, but his abilities seemed to just know.
As he learned, you never ignore a gut feeling. With a small puff of air, Fasa pulled himself up. He would seek to practice his abilities later. For now, he would watch the cubs in their daily activities, and maybe - just maybe - when they reached the Age, they would be sorted into their houses with his help.

 Ichtaca was brand spanking new, he was just born recently and had happily bounded off right when he learned to walk, and was soon in trouble, searching for other things such as new bugs, ponds, trees, plants, everything. he left not one thing out of his adventures. His nose always found new things, wondrous things. From goops to liquids and so on.
His adventures lead him to friends too, it's how he'd met his friend Xochi. They'd become quite close after some close encounters and had a fight between them, that stayed unspoken about.
Today Ichtaca planed on taking Xochi out for a spin around his neighborhood. He was in fact born to this place by the ruler, he had a little bit more knowledge then this youth. The youth he had found out was born of not only a cheetah, the cheetahs mate was in fact a lion, how strange? "Well cmon Xochi!? Are you coming or what??" He asked quite rudely, he was impatient, wanting everything now if he could manage it. Which he tried his heart out to manage.
---
Xochipilli never awoke to a dull day since meeting this cheetah cubbin. He had his eye's filled with one wonder to the next, he was a quiet cub, born to a cheetah and lion. His Father and Mother loved both him and his sister very much and cared for the two of them like they themselves were the rulers of the world.
As much as Xochi knew he wasn't, he often called himself 'Prince' because of his Mother and Father's happen to call each other king and Queen. He admired their love and cherished what he learned from it and learned from them that friendship is extremely important.
So that's where he stood, a new friend, new adventures, new life. He was as new as the young cubbin and ad the same intellect, they both wanted to venture about.
"Yeah I'm coming." He made a funny frustrated face, then ran to catch up to the other.

Fura moved forward. He could hear the sounds of other cubs voices reverberating through the small of the area. All voices came to the tree eventually - even if they were at the softest whisper that he could not hear.
He watched as two earthen-colored cubs bounded close to the tree. He wanted to talk to them, and he cursed his shyness. Definately something he acquired from his father - he frowned.
"Um," He said in a soft whisper. "Hey guys," he called suddenly, not giving the little bit of courage he had to slip away. He was glad his mother wasn't around - he would probably get a verbal lashing.
Not only that, but father would be beaten for instilling bad genes into him.
He shifted on his paws, blue eyes confused by his thoughts. But he steeled them, suddenly, forcing most of the wallowing emotions away from his mind.
Perhaps they would allow him to play with them?
~~~
Mufasa heard the voices of the cubs and smiles despite the lingering weakness. He had to train his ability to the best, but he hated the weakness he felt from it. With a small shigt, he turned his honey-brown eyes to the sounds of the voices that carried to him on the wind.
One was Hetal's cub - he could easily recognize him. One was Saccha's child. He could see the aching image of his father in the cub, and a striking resemblance that Saccharose held to her own mother. He shivered a little. This cub was definately a product of Uovu - and he knew the lioness was one of the lucky siblings that was brought away from the life of slaves.
He was glad for it, and noted that Uovu's genes shone through easily - more than their own mother. Only he could find this amusing, he thought.
The last, he noted, was the son of the Story Teller - currently the only one in the pride. His parents were split, and he was worried for the conflicted emotions in the young cub.
He figured he needed to talk to the little one, but - for nwo he would watch.
Ichtaca was the first to notice the cry from a cub not to far off, he instinctively recognized him. As son to the prides leader he took pride in knowing all the other cubs as his Mom took notice in everyone else. He remembered this cheetah as shy and was startled by the shout, but smiled warmly and left his dear friend to meet up with other guy. "HI!" He shouted happily. The dark mask like marking on his pelt expanded with his eye's in excitement. He appeared to eb quite the character.
"I'm son of Hetal, Ichtaca." He beamed proudly at his heritage and didn't know if perhaps his childish ways, full of in-your-faceness and loudness might bother the shy one. He tried hard to remember the boys name and failed miserably with a "HI...A..Ah..Assa..?" He let his eyebrows roll up in that distinctive sorry if I'm wrong kind of face. He knew that 'asa' was perhaps part of the name, but he wasn't very knowledgeable just yet.
---
Xoch was startled as well, the cry of another cub wasn't unheard of, but still, loud noises just sent chills down his spine. "Ichtacaaaa.. wait!" He grumbled softly, but wore a smile the whole way. He was only just getting used to his friends spontaneous actions, it wasn't bad or anything, but Xoch knew if he lost track for a split second Ichtaca would be gone doing something else.
"Who is that anyway?" He asked and smiled at the other cub, not as warmly, but with a distant fondness. "Asa?" He asks curiosuly to the cub, laughing in his head lightly at the fact that maybe Ichtaca was wrong and if he was he was just made a fool.
