George Hrab is definitely my favorite (kinda) famous atheist. (He's gaining recognition.) He's done panels and played music at TAM #(the last two ones), TAM London, and TAM Australia(?). He also puts out a free weekly podcast (The Geologic Podcast) that has bits about religion ("The Religious Moron of the Week") and "Interesting Fauna" and stories from the 9 piece funk band he plays in {as well as his solo stuff (album #6 arriving very soon)} and just stories from his life, plus funny little sketches he randomly makes up and throws into the show (it's rampant with humor). It's a really great show, and I suggest you check it out! (His music's good too. I own all of it.)
But famous famous atheist, Sam Harris. He's a wonderful speaker.

Christopher Hitchens. He's going to be honest and brutal with you no matter what. I guess I love that in an Atheist. razz
