The Beginning
700,000 years ago, in a different realm, a world became close to its end as a dark lord in the form of a dragon came to power that threatened the existence of all living things. Including the planet. His name was Ragnar. He was born in the fire of Hell. His mind corrupted over time causing him to turn the planet it into a barren waste land. Before his rise to power, three lords stood in his way. They were the protectors of the planet. They stood against Ragnar and his army of demons. The Lords were also in the form of a dragon. Each represented one of three high power races. Vampire, Werewolf and Shape Shifter. Each Lord was guided by seven spirits. The seven spirits were elemental based. The elements were Light, Lightning, Water, Air, Earth, Fire and Darkness. Each was used to keep balance to life and death. As Ragnar became stronger the spirits became more alert to his presence and the dragons started to move to take him down while they had the chance. But they were to late Ragnar took them down in just a few short seconds. With the guardians gone he was in total control of the world. As he ruled, the sky’s blackened, the water became poisonous. The plant life withered away. And life forms became scarce. But one day a young demon stood against Ragnar’s rule. He seeked help from a Vampire that was born to royalty, a werewolf who could fight and a Shape Shifter that could sneak around quietly. After a few short months the four of them learned the abilities that were sure to stop him. Each held a sword that would guide them to bringing down Ragnar. The swords were: Blade of Time, Sword of Spirits, Blade of Life and the Blade of Death. Each were sealed in a temple at the fall of Ragnar so that the powers of the blades could not fall into the wrong hands and there for resulting in the death of the planet. The spirits of the dragon lords honoured the 4 by granting them powers that they them selves once contained. Along with the powers The seven spirit’s that belonged to each dragon was giving to that guardians. While the dragon lords were in rule three suns had formed. When the demon guardian was accepted by the dragons a large crystal formed on the top of the vampire castle. When the suns were in line the crystal would shine as if it were a sun itself. It was made in honour of the demon guardian.
Selene’s awakening: 1st Spirit.
At the age of 5 Selene Everex was conscious of the powers she controlled. But the thing was She wasn’t in complete control of them. She wore to bands with energy crystals in them to help her control her powers so none of them slipped out by accidentally. But the thing is no matter how hard she tried she could never get control of them. She usually ended up blowing something up or disturbing the peace. Her father Talon was king of the vampire realm and her mother Trina was lady of the entire world. Trina had more control over all life then Talon. Sel had a twin brother named Jerauld, and an older sister named Trisha. Her father constantly used her as a tool in war when he found out about her powers.

“The name Everex has been passed down after generation after generation, never changing. It’s been the Royal Family Name for thousands of years. The Vampire guardian, Vertrix carried the powers of the passed spirits within his hands. He alone could control the dead and the living. But could not control people out of the vampire’s race, but he could see into the souls of others and see the truth by biting there arm above the wrist. Therefore starting the term blood memories.” Selene looked up as her twin brother Jerauld walked into the library. “What do you want Jer? Sel hissed. “Nothing. I just can hear you all the way from my room.” Jer smiled. “And mom wants you.” He added quickly. Sel marked her place in the book with a red silk ribbon. “Kay I will see you later Jer.” Sel said as she put the book down and walked out of the room. Jer smiled and looked at the book before going back to his room. He sighs deeply. “Finally. Silence.” He smiled as he fell asleep on his bed. Sel ran up to her mom and dad’s chambers. She knocked on the door. “Mom you wanted to see me? Trina opened the door. “No. Hun. Why.” she asked concerned. “Just nothing Jer said you wanted to see me.” Sel smiled then ran to her brothers room and slammed open the door and jumped onto her brother waking him up instantly. “Hey what was that for.? He tackles her into the stone wall. “For lying to me. You just want me to shut up so u can sleep that’s all. Mom never wanted to see me.” Sel snarled. “Yeah well u listen to yourself mutter for over 2 hours and see how you feel.” he growled back. “If you want me to be quite then I’ll go into the court yard and read my history book.” Sel mocked. “Good. Do it then.” Jer let her down from where he pinned her then laid back down on his stomach on the bed. Sel grabbed the closest thing to her and slammed it into the back of his head. Sel laughed evilly then ran out of the room slamming the door behind her. Jer sat up and growled in pain. “Damn you Sel.” He hissed. Sel went into the library and grabbed her book then went to go out of the court yard. “Well Sel. That wasn’t nice. But then again what Jerauld did wasn‘t nice either. ” A dark famine voice spoke form the selves. Sel turned and looked at her sister. “Oh Trisha, why don’t you keep your nose where it belongs and not in my business.” Sel hissed. Sel turned and walked out of the library and down into the court yard where many young vampires were training. A young red eyed black haired vampire cross werewolf. Looked over at her as she sat down under the shade of a tree. He ran over to her and smiled. “Hello my lady.” He greeted her. Sel looked up at him. “Hello mutt.” She replied. “Now what’s with the term mutt. I never done anything to you. And any way my name is Rex. What‘s yours?” He replied. “Mutt is a term I’ve been taught that defines half vampire and half werewolf breeds. And my name is Selene.” She growled. “And nice to meet you Rex. Now if you mind let me get back to my book.” Sel hissed. “Well I do mind because I came over here to talk with you.” Rex smiled. “Well I don’t want to talk right now. I’d rather be inside except for the fact my brother is trying to sleep and he can’t with my reading out loud. And your really getting on my nerves” Sel growled. “ Fine suit yourself I’ll go back to training,” Rex smirked. As Rex walked away Sel opened her book and started to read. After a few minutes she glanced up to see Rex and another vampire sparing. She became memorized by the way he can fought. The way his eyes glittered with determination to prove his worth to the vampire race. Sel looked back down at her book when he glanced at her. He smiled lightly. He turned into his wolf form, pitch black fur with bright red eyes. He took a running start then jumped the 50 foot defence wall. Sel put her book down then jumped barley making it onto the wall. She watched him for several minutes as he headed out to the Dark woods. “Selene. Get down from there.” a voice snapped at her. Sel turned and looked at Carlos. “Come now child there is no need for a purebred like you to go after a mutt.” Sel looked down at him. Her dress hung over the side of the wall her hair braided tightly hung over her shoulder. “How are you to tell me who I can and can not see.” She snarled. “Come on Sel I’m just trying to keep you out of trouble with your father. You been having a hard time to stay under the radar with him.” Carlos Shrugged. Sel looked backed over to where Rex disappeared. “Your right I don’t need the trouble. Besides if the enemy see’s me up here I’m a target for sure.” Sel jumped down from the wall and grabbed her book and went inside. “I don’t see the point in it I’ll be stuck there any way.” She muttered as she went inside. Sel sighed deeply. And closed her eyes before she dumped her bag in her room then headed down in to the main hall. “Child come here now.” Her mothers voice echoed in her head. Sel went down to the first floor and zipped past the entrance hall and down into her mothers chambers. She opened her mothers bedroom door and looked at her. “What’s wrong mom.” She asked. “I fear my child that tonight will be my last. Your father may do something that can never be forgiven. But please remember how you are Selene.” She whispered staring out a window. “But who am I. I can’t even lift pebbles off the ground with out blowing things up.” Sel whined. “You will in time my child. You are a guardian. You’re a descendent of Vertrix.” Trina turned and looked at Sel. “I may not let you train, but I do it because I don’t want you to live the same way I did. Being used by your father.” Trina hissed. “I won’t let him use me.” Sel snapped. “Good my child. Do not ever trust him or Trisha. They are corrupted in their minds.” Trina whispered. Sel nodded her eyes brimming with tears. “Good go get ready. We have to go soon your father will meet Zeta in the mountains. Sel goes up to her room and dries her tears then pulls on the family robe. Its colors were soft blue and white. They are the colors that was passed down by her mother’s side. Unlike most marriages the female takes on the males name. marring and Everex meant that you took on the name so that it wouldn’t die off and the history would stay in place. So if you were a male your name would change to Everex and it would be the same for a female.
Later that night.
Sel stood staring over a ledge at the 2 armies that stood in place, fighting each other till the end, till only one person stood. Talon walked forward, Trina following slowly behind. “Lets end this shall we.” Talon growled before he grabbed Trina’s arm and threw her off the cliff. “NO. MOM.” Selene screamed as she darted forward reaching her hand over the cliff. “Mom. Tears ran down Sel’s face as her mother was swallowed up by the fighting armies done below fought. Trisha screamed with laughter behind them. Talon had a dark smile on his face when Sel looked at him. “How could you do this?” Sel screamed at him. Talon grabbed Trisha arms as Sel’s angry got the better of her, sending silver sparks out form the body…or was it coming from over the cliff. Rex was watching from a distance as talon disappeared with Trisha as the mountain started to burn with silver flames. Sel was laying on her stomach passed out from the heat. Rex quickly jumped over the flames and ran to Sel’s side he picked her up and dodged the flames heading towards the Dark woods.
…Selene. Do you hear me? It’s me your mother. Please stay away from your father no matter the costs. He’ll try and kill you the same way he did to me…
…“Mom. What do u mean?” Sel murmured in her sleep…

He put his hand on her chest to keep her laying down. “You.” Sel jumped back and snarled at him. “What do you want. Where am I?” She hissed. “Relax. I don’t want any thing form you. Your in the Dark woods and your safe. I live here. Just me. Rex waved his hand around the small shelter. “Mom’s dead and so is my father.” He threw in quickly. Sel sat down and sighed. Putting her hand against her forehead, she looked around the gloomy place. “What happened?” She asked. “You blacked out when the mountain caught fire. And I brought you here.” Rex replied. Sel nodded. “Thanks. But how do I get back to the castle.” She asked. “I don’t think its safe for you right now.” Rex whispered. He looked at her and smiled. “You should at least gain your strength back first.” He spoke. “I have no training experience.” Sel growled. “Ah. Thought so.” Rex smiled. He looked at her for several minutes. “You hungry.” He asked cocking his head sideways. She shook her head. “I ate this morning.” she grumbled. Rex nodded. Sel got up and walked out of the shelter. “Hey where are you planning to go. You can’t go back to the castle at least not now.” Rex whined jumping up and walking beside her. “Any where.” She whispered. She grabbed the barrette that help her braid in place and pulled it out and threw it on the ground. Her hair came out of its braid leaving ripples in it. Something stirred in the forest beside them. Sel looked up and Rex turned into his wolf form. Growling at what ever was there. A snow white wolf walked out of the forest its eyes were red and it was 3 times the size of Rex. Rex stared at it his eyes meeting the other wolfs. The white wolf looked up at Sel.
