A loud splash filtered through the air followed by a squeal with a somewhat indignant tone to it "Bangil!" Jarita chided as she danced away from the waters edge with a disguised look in her eyes, her wings shuffling slightly as she tried to shed any water drops which might have reached her. 'Ugh...I though you said there were pretty shells in here, all I see it muddy water!" the filly stated as her wings settled back into place.Bangil gave her friend a sheepish look as she waded back towards shore, a bit of water plant hanging from one ear, reaching the shore she shook her head to rid herself of the dangling plant. 'Sorry! Sorry, there are shells! they're just hard to find sometimes" She insisted with a glance behind her to the river, she knew there had to be some shells in there somewhere..."Alright...I believe you, but we've been looking for hour now and I'm tired of getting splashed for today, lets go and do something else for a while" The vividly colored black filly suggested. Though the two were quite different from one another they were good friends and mostly got along - although Bangil sometimes had different ideas of 'fun'' then she did."Tag? Hide and seek?" The brown filly suggested after a few moments of thought, her head tilting slightly as she considered the options, frankly she'd prefer to keep searching for shells, but Jarita would just keep complaining and that had a tendency to get on Bangil's nerves after a while. Reaching her friend she started off into the trees knowing Jarita would follow"Anything that won't get me dirty..." Jarita responded off handedly as she followed her tamer colored friend into the shadowed tree's

Lior was out and about today, rarely without her brother attached to the hip. She'd somehow ventured out to the river. and without getting too close, managed to find a very lovely, empty, conch shell. She retreated almost instantly back to the safety of the forest, she had an unreasonable fear of the water, probably some hidden trait passed to her, from her father, but every now and then she'd dare to get close for some pretty little treasure.
Her peace was soon interrupted however, when she heard a couple sets of hooves headed her way. She stuffed her new conch into a little hiding hole, and then hid herself, so that just when the fillys were about to pass, she jumped out at them, yelling fiercely. "BOO!"

Bangil was busy turning back to look at Jarita, her mouth opened as she started to retort to her friend "I don't know why your always so worried about...AHHHH!" the brown filly nearly leapt out of her skin as she whipped her head around and jumped sideways, half falling, half crawling over a log that got in her way, a bug-eyed expression on her face until she took note of jut what exactly had scared her. A little blue tinged filly had come out from well no where as far as Bangil could tell - although granted she hadn't exactly been looking where she was going.
"Hey!" She called out in embarrassed indignation as she tried to right herself again, hopping back over the log in a far more graceful fashion then she had managed before.
Jarita for her part merely had an amused look in her eyes as she watched Bangil fall all over the place in terror - alright, so it wasn't exactly nice to laugh at your friends, but it was funny and Bangil had been arguing with her anyways. "You should have been paying attention to where you were going' Jarita told Bangil "Then you might have seen her" She concluded - though she herself hadn't seen the filly, just been frozen in shock for a few moments rather then scrambling away.
"I'm Jarita!" She told the dark colored filly before motioning to her brown friend "and this is Bangil, whats your name?"

Lior tittered and giggled happily as the brown filly literally jump, and nearly fell over. However, the winged filly seemed to have been expecting her, she wasn't exactly used to others who enjoyed playing games as much as she did. She was much more accustomed to filly's like the brown one. Even colt's ran away from her screaming, though she was hardly scary looking, she had inherited more of her unknown father's innocent traits, then her mother's scary mutant traits. She rolled her eyes at the brown filly, and switched her attention to the dark winged filly.
"Ah, well. I'm Lior, as in your bright sparkling star. What exactly are you two up to?" She asked, with an anxious flick of her tail, maybe they'd like to play for a bit. Orion was fun an all, but after a while he could get boring. She could really use some friends.

Bangil huffed slightly at her friend and the other filly before joining them. not being one to really hold a grudge for long Bangil's ears pricked up as Lior asked her question - perhaps she'd like to play, games were far more fun with three then two, most games anyways. "We were looking for shells, but Jarita got bored so we were going to play something else" She answered in a chipper tone "Maybe tag...or hide and seek" The brown filly suggested, wondering if either of those would garner some interest from the blue and back filly, now that she was closer Bangil could make out some strange things on the fillies back - they looked sorta like wings but not, of course being used to a mother who wore a skull on her head Bangil wasn't weirded out by much and she thought they were rather pretty "Whats those on your back? they're pretty looking" She couldn't help but ask after a few more moments of studying them.
"Well thats a pretty meaning" Jarita told Lior with a slight flip of her head to get her forelock out of her eyes "And I didn't get bored - I got tired of Bangil splashing water on me all the time" she clarified "gross dirty river water!" Jarita didn't think there were any shells in the river either - at least she hadn't seen any despite Bangils assurances that there were. What a waste of a morning - but now that they'd met Lior maybe it would get better. Jarita loved making new friends and she nodded in agreement as Bangil listed their proposed activities "What are you doing out here?"

Lior fluttered her little wings, making a small buzzing sound, almost like that of a humming bird, or maybe even a bee. She hoped one day she'd have wings as bug as her mothers and be able to soar the skies. She looked at the bright filly, with her oranges and purples, she had wings. She wondered for a second if she knew how to fly yet, or if she was too little to do so. "These are my wings." She said, giving the one last flutter and then she let them rest, and thought of some game for them to play.
"Hide and seek would be cool!" She always loved to jump out at others and see how much she could scare them. She smirked at the thought, of this would surely be fun!

Bangil turned her head slightly to look between Jarita and Lior, their wings were certainly different looking, not that she was any sort of good wing judge - the only winged Soquili she'd meet before now had been Jarita. Why...there could be Soquili out there with all sorts of wings! It wasn't the first time Bangil wished she had wings like her friend.
Shaking her little head to clear away such thoughts Bangil refocused on the present, she didn't need wings, she was just fine the way she was and she'd prove it by being 'it' first and finding the other two in record super fast time! Sounded like a good plan to her and a determined look flitted across her face. "Alright! I'll be it first" she declaired, doubting that anyone would argue it with her - no one ever wanted to be it. "You two go and hide"
Her attention now drawn to the other fillies wings, Jarita gave them a once over herself - they were quite differant then her own, but her mother didn't have wings at all and they both had little fluffy tails rather then the long pretty ones that Bangil and Lior had - so the differences weren't quite as pronounced to her "Cool...maybe we can learn to fly together!" She stated, eyes shining at the thought - Jarita couldn't wait till she could fly.
But..back to the present and she gave Lior a little shrug as Bangil offered to be it - she wasn't going to complain she much preferred hiding to seeking. "Don't cheat" She told Bangil before dancing off into the woods to looks for a hiding spot.

Lior wasn't so sure she'd even be able to fly when she grew, her mother had told her that sometimes, even if you had lovely wings, they could always carry the weight. Her mother had to shrink her size in order to fly, it was likely she'd have to do the same if she'd fly at all. She shook the thought from her mind, and realized that the game was beginning and Bangil would be it. She dashed in to the forest, in the opposite direction of Jarita.
She found a nice area to hid, where she could see Bengil if she approached, and could jump out to scare her again. It might not work a second time though, so she was prepared for a chase.

"I don't cheat!"She told Jarita with a huff before closing her eyes and starting to count, her ears swiveled slightly as she heard Lior and Jarita running off into the woods to hide. It wasn't cheating as long as you didn't actually look right? Of course not - it wasn't her fault if they were noisy and happened to give themselves away.
unfortunately after they got a few steps into the forest the hoof beats faded away and other then a basic direction Bangil hadn't learned much. Oh well that would just make things more interesting.
"Ready or not here I come!" She yelled out before spinning about to take a quick look around - no bright orange/pink or blue stood out at first glance so Bangil dashed off into the woods trotting in the general direction she'd heard Lior run off in. She wanted to catch the filly for scaring her when they first met.
Jarita watched a Lior ran off in the opposite direction - good now Bangil would be forced to choose and not run into both of them at the same time. Bounding off into the woods she found a fallen tree with some spooky moss hanging off of it to hide behind.
Peeking out every now and again to see if Bangil was heading this way - but she thought she spotted the brown haunches of her friend heading in the opposite direction and giggled - hee, it seemed like Bangil had gone towards Lior instead. That was great...Jarita hated to be it!
