The TekTek Society was created by me and a few others nearly 4 whole years ago. We created The TekTek Society because we all had an intense passion for tekteking, and wanted to create a guild where those who shared our passion could interact with others as well. However, sadly, the crew that I had at that time has long since become inactive, or left Gaia all together.

I am not as active in the guild as I once was since I started attending college, as school has taken up a lot of my time. I am not always here to fulfill all the moderator duties. This guild is not what it once was. It has waned in popularity due to the lack of attention given to it. That being said I am looking to hire 8 Guild Moderators [Crew] in this guild to help look over the forums, threads, and members when I cannot. If you have read this first post and understand the requirements of you I expect you to put a heart at the bottom of your application like the one that I put at the end of my posts in this thread. This is to weed out the people who feel that it's unnecessary to read the first post. [Thank you]

Below you will find a lengthy application. I am looking to form a team of Gaian members who are interested in patching up this guild, making it what it once was, and helping to keep it that way. Clearly I cannot hire everyone who applies, so I assume that there will be some hurt feelings. I apologize for this, however I am looking for people willing to do what it takes to dedicate themselves to the guild, who will also work well with myself, other hired moderators, and the members.


Your Application Will Be Invalid If:
1) You do not complete the application in its entirety
2) You do not submit the necessary tekteks
3) You harass/berate/threaten any of the other applicants or myself
4) You beg to be hired

These are the duties which will be expected of you upon hiring. If you feel at any time while reading this that you cannot complete the necessary tasks, please do not bother submitting your application.

You will be expected to...


-Be relatively active within the guild
-Monitor the 'Join Requests' to the guild
-Go through the forums and add any polls to threads which forgot them
-Monitor the members and overall behavior of the guild/threads
-Interact with MoonGlint and the other moderators in a polite and respectful manner
[if I show you respect, I expect it to be returned as well]
-Report any inappropriate behavior of members to me
-Lock threads if need be
-Go through the threads and purge any threads that have been inactive for over 1 year
-Take on any guild tasks asked of you
-Help in the process of restoring this guild

Being a competent Guild Moderator of The TekTek Society, I expect you to be able to know how to tektek and be able to produce tekteks upon demand, as some guild members will personally ask you for one. That being said, you WILL be judged on your tektek making abilities as well. I require 3 tekteks to be attached to your application [which should all be in ONE single post, NOT TWO. Below you will find the tekteks that I am asking of you.

Required TekTeks

1) The BEST tektek that you personally think you have ever created
2) A matching tektek involving no more than 3 colors of your own choice
3) A tektek that best represents your personality. This is not what you look like in real life. Use items and colors that showcase who you are. [this one you will not be judged on. It is merely an opportunity to showcase your personality <3 ]

Requirements

-Please number your tekteks 1, 2, and 3 so that I know which is your best, which is your matching one, and which is your personality
-No, there is no required base [hair, skin, eyes]. You may use whichever you see fit.
-No, I will not give feedback on completed tekteks since this is an application.
-I do not want a list of the items involved; just a picture of the tektek will suffice.
-I do not want an explanation of why you chose the colors that you did, I just want pictures of the tekteks attached to the rest of your application.

Questions:

Is there any deadline? No, there is no deadline set in stone. I will be accepting applications until I hire all the moderators that I needed. This could take a day, or a few months to do, so no deadline is set.

When will I know if I have been hired or not? I am very busy with school, but I will check this thread as often as I possibly can. If your application was completed, your username will appear in the 'Completed Applications' section. If I decide to promote you to moderator you will be private messaged first to notify you. You will more than likely be notified within 3 days if I wish to hire you.

Can I PM you to ask if I got the job? You are more than welcome to PM me about anything, however I am only hiring 8 moderators for the guild so I am being quite selective. Any rejections, I assure you, are NOT personal by any means. <3

Can I bump in here after I post my application? No, I would appreciate it if you didn't. I would like this thread to merely contain the applications so that they are easy to sift through when I am making my decisions.

If I private message you will that increase my chances of being hired? No, I will be hiring you based on the two parts of your application. If I have any questions regarding your application I will message you.
