She couldn't resist fluttering along with in on her own wings; it would make a good story, after all!
Leaping over a fallen log on the forest floor, she wiggled her wings before landing gracefully on the other side. Then, as she was about to continue her walk, her nose picked up a most familiar scent. It was sweet, and judging from how strong it was, it must be from a nearby source. Looking up, the filly scanned the canopy of the forest; leaves covered the once bare and snow covered branches of the trees, and some trees were already bearing fruit- That's it! Her glance landed on a tree with red apples hanging off its branches. Her stomach growled, and the filly blushed; perhaps a quick meal would do her good.

The filly continued forward. Her eyes, now aware of her surroundings, looked up to see a apple tree in fruition. Maybe she could ruin it for other soquili looking for a bite to eat, instead finding all the apples on the floor. Of course, those apples would eventually be infested by bugs, and possibly if the soquili wasn't bright enough would take a bite of the fallen apple.
As usual, the filly did not register that there was another filly nearby. She moved towards the trunk of the tree, and moved to face away from it. She would do this the best way she knew how. Hopefully this tree was flimsy enough that it would give way to her. The small filly gave it a strong hind kick, sending tremors up the tree trunk to the branches above. Alas, she only managed to get a small of apples to fall.

Fleurite fluttered her wings, getting ready to leap off the ground and fly around the tree to look for that perfect apple. However, before she could do so, the tree shook suddenly and sent some apples and leaves falling to the ground. A small apple hot her on the head, causing her to stagger backwards from the shock rather than the pain. When she stopped moving, Fleurite stood still, frowning at the tree as she tried to register what just happened. Slowly and cautiously, as if she was afraid the same thing might happen again, she trotted over to the fallen apples and sniffed them one by one. She frowned, shaking her head before trotting round the truck of the tree; no, these aren't as good as they look... The best ones must still be on the tree!
Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed another filly for the first time; she had a lovely colored pelt, soft on the eyes. Shifting her hoofs nervously, she wondered if this filly was the one who had caused the tree to shake. If she did, why? Was it to get to the apples? At the thought, she approached the stranger, her tail swishing behind her.
"U-Um... Hel-Hello?" She blushed as she greeted the other, offering a friendly smile, "I could get a good apple for you if you want...?"

Concordia Discors quickly dashed away from the tree to avoid getting barraged with apples. Her ears perked up at the noise of apples falling, and one distinct noise that differed from the other apples falling. Curiosity hit her, but would let whatever the oddity to come up first, if her suspicions were true. Her eyes shone with amusement, glancing at the red apples that hit the ground. They looked appetizing and looked healthy enough to eat. Hopefully someone idiotic would try eating one later on when the worms decide to make it their home.
Seeing movement at the corner of her eye, she watched as the filly stumbled from getting hit from an apple. She smirked a bit before covering the amusement with a look of surprise. She was quite… interesting looking. Her eyes caught sight of the small wings on her back, and blinked, wondering what they were. It was the first time she would have met someone with wings.
“Oh, could you? You know, that would be absolutely delightful.” She gushed out to the young foal, her eyes fluttering before sweetly smiling to her.

"Of- Of course," The filly blushed; this filly was pretty! She returned the smile together with a nod of her head before turning her attention back to the apple tree; there were a few that she would be unable to reach for sure, with her small wings, but some were closer to the ground. Scanning the apples, her eyes finally landed on one that looked red enough to be ripe and juicy. Wiggling her wings, she cantered before leaping towards the said apple, spreading out her wings to give her the necessary lift. Focusing, she grabbed the apple where it connected to the branch and pulled it off before landing gently back on the ground.
She stood still for a second to regain her composure and balance, apple in her mouth. Turning to the other filly, she quickly trotted over, placing the apple near the stranger's feet. She then offered her another smile before pushing the fruit gently to roll it towards her, "This is for you... It was the reddest apple I could reach!"

Concordia Discors watched the filly with interest, almost finding the filly blushing endearing. Almost. Her eyes slightly widened when she finally caught sight of the filly's flutter wings. Well, this attribute may become useful to her. She continued to watch the filly, watching as she looked over all the apples. It seemed like she gravitated to a red apple. A small smile hinted on the young filly's mouth.
Her gaze dropped down to the offered apple. Giving the other mare a sweet smile, almost purring her pleasure. "Aren't you the sweetest?" She purred out, her teal eyes locking her gaze with the flutter filly. She broke the gaze to bend over and took a light whiff of the apple's aroma. It smelled sweet. Taking a small bite, her eyes brightened. "Mmn, sweet and juicy~!" She purred out in the most feline way an equine can sound.

"Oh! N-No! I-I mean, y-yes! I mean, um, you're welcome!" Fleurite blushed, wondering why she felt more nervous around this filly than when she was with other strangers... Perhaps it was the way she was acting? Fleurite blushed slightly as she smiled; she had never met another who expressed themselves so unusually! Sweet, almost graceful yet cute in a way! She smiled nervously, however, as the other filly took a bite, grinning when she realized that it tasted good.
"I-I'm glad!" She nodded, her blush deepening at the purring sound the filly was making, "S-sometimes, even apples from the top can taste n-nasty if its not ripe... I-its good that this one is sweet!" She paused for a second before continuing, "So... Um, my name is Fleurite, but most call me Fleur... What is your name?"

The young filly couldn't help, but find amusement in this filly. It was quite the interesting sight to see the other young filly react like this around her. Still tasting the sweet sugars of the apple in her mouth, she licked the remaining juices that was left on her mouth with her tongue. A smile followed the quick run with her tongue over her lips. Concordia Discors laughed, her teal eyes trained on the filly before her. "You are too adorable." She said, commenting on her antics more-so then her looks. The mare before her reminded her of earthly tones. The dark, nutrient filled dirt to the more dried soil. The minty tones to her hair reminded her of the foliage around them.
Hearing the other filly's comment, she feigned surprise. "Oh, is that so? I'm so fortunate that you picked my apple then, and you are so knowledgeable on the subject of apples." She said with another slight purr. The apple was fairly sweet and delicious, but she wasn't actually thanking her for the apple. If she was, it was very indirectly. Her ears perked up a bit, listening to the flutter filly before her. "Fleurite? What an interesting name." She gushed, but of course, it was not as interesting as her own name. "It's is quite the pleasure, Miss Fleur. My mother bestowed me the name Concordia Discors." She said with a prim and proper tone to her voice, accenting parts of her sentence with a light purr. "I suppose there are variations on what one could call me, but I'm certain any derivatives of my name will be lovely."

Her nerves usually calm a while after meeting someone new, and this was no exception; although it took longer than usual due to the other filly's disposition and speech patterns, Fleurite found herself smiling more naturally around the tan filly. Blushing a little at the comment - and taking it as a sort of compliment - she couldn't find the correct words to answer with; instead, she decided to bow her head before muttering a soft "Thank you".
Tossing her head and getting her mane out of her eyes, the fluttercorn quickly shook her head at the compliment, "O-oh, no! I'm no expert! My mother is the real expert... I'm sure these things come with age and experience!" She nodded, as if agreeing with herself. At the comment on her name, Fleurite's smile grew as she giggled, "Thank you! I love my name... My mum gave it to me."
She smiled as the filly introduced herself, nodding as a sign of acknowledging her name, "It is a lovely name! Really elegant and pleasant sounding... I think it really suits you." She then paused, tilting her head as if deep in thought, "Um... Well, may I call you Concordia then?"

Watching the other filly with a close eye, she was intrigued by the young filly. She seemed rather hyper compared to her own composed self. A small smirk appeared on her lips as she just simply nodded her head to the other filly's "thank you".
She quirked a brow. "Is that so? Then, I suppose your mother is a good teacher as well for you to learn so quickly." She said with the same purr from before. "My own dear mother has not taught me anything of such... worth." Her mouth drew back in a bit of a grimace, missing the presence of her mother in her life. Her mother had chosen her sister, and had left her other sister and herself to her... "father". The filly nodded her head. "That is one thing my mother did give me also." She mentioned on the topic of names.
When complimented, the young filly seemed to lighten up a bit. "Mmn, thank you. Compliments to my lovely mother in that regard." She said. Watching the other filly as she thought about it, she waited for her to finish thinking before agreeing to the shortened version of her name. "It is acceptable."

"Yes, she is," Fleurite simply replied happily, wiggling her small wings; she might be without a father in her life, but her mother is always there to help her along. Besides, the uncles and aunts in the herd had always treated herself and her sister as family. In fact, there was never an opportunity for her to be upset about not having a father in her life as she was growing up, for there are plenty of father figures in the herd looking out for her.
"Concordia it is, then," She beamed at the other filly, clearly pleased, "Do you live nearby?" She tilted her head to a side, wondering if there were other herds nearby; she had seen a few stray Soquilis wandering about, but never a large group of them at once... Perhaps her new friend was not from around these parts?

Concordia Discors kept her gaze on the young foal. A hint of bitterness laced her gaze on her. She wished her mother was there to teach her things. As much as she told her "father" she wanted to see her mother, her "father" told her she could not. He said he didn't know where she was, and that she had taken her sister along with her. Taking in a deep breath, she tried to blow off the bubbling anger inside of her little body.
"I do not actually have a permanent home, if you are asking that." She said. "My father travels constantly, and I have to travel with him along with my sister." She said with a nod. "Although, it isn't hard to escape him~" She smirked a bit before smiling sweetly. "Do you live nearby?"

{Really? Cool! xD I've been asking about the herd, but they had yet to set it up officially so I'm only briefly mentioning it in RP.}
The filly's eyes widened and she leaned forward slightly, "Is it... Is it fun to travel?" She then nodded, gesturing towards the direction she had came from using her hoof, "My herd is nearby... I'm not allowed to stray too far from it, since I got lost the last time I did that..." Her voiced faded into silence as she blushed, dipping her head to look at the ground as she shifted her hoofs.
"I want to travel one day though, when I'm old enough to," She finally spoke again, her head still dipped and her voice softer than usual, "It must be nice to see the world - I can only imagine what the 'sea' or 'lake' or 'fields of flowers' look like from what others tell me... I want to see them for myself." She paused, wondering if its selfish of her to say that; she had often heard others mentioning how its great to have a permanent home, after all.

( Indeed. owo I'm not sure what's really going on with that herd. xP Hopefully, they do set it up. I really liked the concept.

Concordia Discors took the time to think about it. Her eyes turned upward in no particular direction to think. "It is tiresome." She said out loud, at least offering the other young filly an honest answer for once. She truly did not like it since she had to follow her father around. She already wanted to venture on her own and go out to search for her own mother. She did not need her father. The filly considered the life in a herd, and did not think she would like that either. She may be exposed to more Soquili in a given place, but to be restrained to where the herd goes would not bide well with her.
The foal focused her gaze on the foal in front of her. "How unfortunate. At least you are not lost now." She said in a sweet tone. Her brow quirked up at the young filly before her, feeling as if she were looking at another version at her father. Her nose wrinkled a bit before quickly relaxing her features to mask her distaste.
Her interest in the conversation was quickly deteriorating. She lacked the same interests as the filly before her. "I'm sure they will always be there. You have time to enjoy them." She said with a pleasant smile, masking her growing annoyance.
