Personality: Kolt is a generally friendly man and never lead anything more than a card game. But Richard gave him the confidence and training he needed to be a leader. And that's just what Kolt became. He is a kind man who now wants nothing more than to help those he can and let them lead as normal a life as possible.

History: Believe it or not Kolt used to be a florist, but before that he was a welder, and before that a veterinarian. He used to be what some people called the "every man". If there was a job that needed doing, he could get it done. And so he has, and still is, obtained many different skills that have helped him to be the man he is today. Kolt has been with Richard since the beginning.
He had gotten a job customizing weapons in Richards gun store a few months before the tragedy happened. Kolt was one of the first people said to have encountered the Zombies. And unlike the usual person, Kolt wasn't really phased by this. He'd been one of the conspiarists that said Zombies would one day be real, and he even laughed at people while they were being eaten and told them he was right. Kolt went a little crazy for a few days before getting a hold of himself. After that he became a zombie killing machine.
Kolt didn't just shoot zombies, or stab them, or kill them. He slaughtered them, it was almost like watching a ballet, only there was more blood and people were dying....again. He took it as more of a game, rather than survival. Richard explained that there was nothing wrong with Kolt, it was just his way of coping. Everyone has their way of coping with this situation, and Kolt tallied his kills and what not.
When Kolt was forced to shoot his mentor, Richard Caldwell, in the head. It was the hardest thing he'd ever had to do. Richard had become more than a mentor to Kolt, and Kolt was more to Richard. They had passed the barrier of comrades, they were family. But Kolt did not want his new father to turn into a zombie, and so he shot Richard in the head after being given command of the ZERO army.
