Um, sorry if i sound stupid, but what exatly IS "rave"? I know what techno, house, ect. are, but not rave. so can someone tell me what it is plz?

Rave is a style of hardcore that developed in the 90s. Many people seem to think happy hardcore is rave but real rave is much darker than happy hardcore which (although I love it) is pretty mild stuff in comparison. check out the track Channel X - Rave the Rhythm, it;s a great example. Also, The Hypnotist makes some great rave/hard techno.

some of the best hardcore songs came out in the 90s or so...bands such as Rotterdam terror corps, they were a dutch hardcore band, lots of good hardcore was dutch lol, i would suggest that if you want to make a comparison between hardcore and hardsyle, you check out the techno now and the techno back then, check out thunderdome, thunderdome was a huge compilation of only the hardest of techno most of it was dutch, there was a coiple of thunderdome compilations....i think there was like 20 or so. Raving is different when it comes to different parts of the world

angerfist is a good hardcore band....but they are REALLY REALLY hardcore...not your average hardcore, but i like hardcore and hardstyle, both are awesome

The Pervy Sheep angerfist is a good hardcore band....but they are REALLY REALLY hardcore...not your average hardcore, but i like hardcore and hardstyle, both are awesome angerfist is more of a hardcore for jumpstyle. i ******** love them though. jumpstyle is my fav
