This insane topic is about character's in the guild explaining there kekkei genkai's or revealing them to help other people better understand them. I've had trouble finishing mine and I'm not sure if you all will have question's, so this is where we can tell all we have to and answer any questions about our kekkei genkai.

This is my character's secret kekkei genkai, so tell me what you think.
Ryu Sugata(Dragon Shape): When Kaisho uses this secret kekkei genkai, he gain's scales over fifty percent of his body, and he gains clawed feet, hands, a pair of backward curving horns, and eight razor sharp canines in his mouth. This kekkei genkai allows him to uses breath type fire releases without hand signs because he can naturally produce fire from his mouth which he uses chakra to control the attacks shape. In this form, his skin becomes as durable as diamond but still maintains it flexibility. he also becomes physically stronger and faster but his mind succumbs to instinct forcing a change to his personality making him more savage.
Strengths- All of his attributes double, his skin becomes as durable as diamond, and he can use breathe style fire releases without hand signs allowing him to control the fire with his chakra.
Weakness- This form does not increase his impact resistance or his elemental resistance. He maintains his mind except that instinct takes over for willpower.

I would jsut like to start off by saying that I think this is a cool concept (mostly becasue I heart dragons. However...
It's a bit powerful for a Kekkai Genkai, don't you think?
The way you described it, it sounds like it would more aptly be a sage Mode form, or some form of Curse Mark. Bloodline techniques are more of an empowering supplement to a character... not something as drastic as this.
Essentially, you get to Double your speed, strength, everything, AND gain diamond hard skin, and breathe fire, and you lose what? A small bit of your control?... there would need to be more of debilitating effect then that.
A bloodline limit is normally something intrinsic within a person, or something like an eye jutsu that you can activate to supplement a players ability and help in some very specific way. It's not really so much of a FORM that can be activated and deactivated with that level of benefit. that kind of use seems more like a Curse Mark characteristic to me.

Perhaps, you could have that be your kekkei genkai, but as Death-sensei suggested to me, have only a few techniques. For example, only have the clawed hands and feet and perhaps the wings. Later, develop the fire-breathing, and then, when you are like a jonin, develop the diamond-hard skin...
Just a suggestion...

Hmm... Feedback for kekkei genkai...
Would anyone be able to check through this and give me some feedback?
Kekkai Genkai -- Dornenkrone
When unactivated, black thorn like markings will occasionally appear on the skin, moving around for a moment before vanishing again. When activated, the thorns can take multiple forms. This Kekkai Genkai utilizes earth and water chakra to create an earth release.
0) – Dornenkrone - (Genin)
In the basic form, black thorn like symbols swirl around the skin, rising up to form actual thorns when needed.
1) -- Rustung des Dornen – (Chuunin)
Thorns rise from the skin and wrap around the lower legs, the forearm and the chest, creating some light armour of thorns. Thorns can be created from any part of the body or the thorn armour and used to attack or defend. This form is optimised for speed. The thorns can be shot from the armour or body at rapid speeds, but cannot be controlled once they have left the body.
2) -- Meisters des Dornen – (Jonin)
Thorns rise from the skin and wrap around the body, long spikes extending over joints such as the knees and elbows to protect them from harm. In this form, thorns cover the entire body but the head, with the thorns being denser then usual, slowing down the user but providing unparalleled defence. ‘Wings’ of thorn also grow from the thorns covering the shoulder blades, these wings cannot be used for flight but can be used to attack or as a shield. The thorns can only be controlled if they are still connected to the body or the thorn armour, but any thorns created in this form are of a density equal to steel.
3) – Dornenzorn – (ANBU)
In the final form, thorns cover the entire body, long jagged thorns covering the joints and hardened vines twisting around the limbs and torso. The thorns also forming a foreboding helmet , thorns rising from the top to resemble a crown and small gaps for the hair to spill out at the back. In this final form, full thorned wings grown from the armoured back area, and they are capable of flight. There is also a throned tail. This form is optimised for offense, and the control of the thorns is at its greatest, as they can be shot and still controlled after they have left the body.
Attacks -
Heretic Tendrils – Creates thorned vines from the body and manipulates them. They can be twisted into a multitude of forms. The length and density of the vines are proportional to the amount of chakra used. If the vines are cut in any form but form 3, then they will instantly wither and die. In the third form however, the thorns can still be controlled and manipulated.
Bramble Barrage – Fires thorns from the body, these thorns can be fired at rapid speeds in forms 1 and 3. In form 3 they can be controlled after shooting.
Thorn Claws – Creates a thorned vine that branches off into fire small vines at the end, vaguely resembling a thorny claw. It can be manipulated in much the same was as the Heretic Tendrils.
Fortification of Thorns – Creates a wall of thorns from the earth, strong enough to survive most attacks, though it is susceptible to fire.
Twisted Grasp – Thorny vines rise from the earth to entangle and trap the target, the thorns growing once the target has been caught. The speed of the thorn growth is rather slow however, and cannot be sped up.

Abilities Immense Strength(his strength is increased enough to where he can shatter rock with a blow) Increased Durability(his body becomes as hard as stone) Natural Weapons(claws, fangs, horns, and the fire breath) Fire Breath(like the form he takes, he can breath fire without using hand signs in a stream, fireballs, or charge it for a powerful sphere of fire.) Weaknesses Kaisho's main weakness in this form is his lack of a logical mind. when he enters this form, his mind is controlled by instinct. He does however retain memories of what he's done but lacks the control to stop himself. The second weakness is he loses the ability to use his lightning release jutsus because of his lack of a logical mind he can't use hand signs.

I like Kaisho's, it's very good. Kiiyashi's is also pretty good but Chaos will get upset with it... and we had this discussion already.

I was looking for feedback that did not consist of references to Chaos. Whoever he is, he would have dealt with people who have had similar abilities to his before, you can't get upset if someone in a roleplay guild has a similar ability to you, that would just be silly.

I would very much like to fight this character and perhaps form a close working relationship with this character. I especially like the way that you seem to be going more to a thorn aspect versus Chaos' complete vine aspect... That mixed with the fact that you seem to have thought over the normal and obvious fire problem... I have only one question... How about ice jutsu? how would your vines work around that? and do your thorns need the basic elements that work it? mainly do you need water and earth to be able to use them... if so would you suffer more in the desert or artic tundra where vines would normally not grow... like if you were to use them there would it take more chakra?

Rai it certainly is amusing. His style is different from my greatly. Chaos uses the Vines as the base for his attacks while this style uses the thrones as a base. Using the thorns as a base reduces chakara cost of attack maneuvers and while weaking power it makes up for it in the sheer face he can use numbers to inflict damage. It is similar to Chaos's defense abilities though it lacks the raw power and the fact that Demon Vines naturally lack thorns and can only grow them thanks to cross breeding. Along with that, it has a self-reliant style while requiring less resources to fight with compared to Chaos. I think this style differs enough compared to mine since Chaos actually plants the vines compared to his which is created through a marking and his style focuses more on the thorns rather than the vines themselves.

Depends on the ice. Hail isn't really going to to too much, but you could freeze all the water in the living vines and they would die if you have it cold enough. And the fired thorns like in Bramble Barrage wouldn't really be that susceptible to it.
So fire is more effective against the drier thorns, while ice is better against the more flexible ones.
Earth and Water are not needed for the thorns directly out of the body, but Fortification of Thorns and Twisted Grasp would require them, or more chakra without.
Is there anything else you would like to ask about it?

I am not saying anything against it but i still agree with Cobra that body changing kekkai Genkai is almost unheard of in the Naruto universe with the exception of Kimimaro and his bone Kekkai Genkai I can not think of one single other that actually changes the whole body like what you are saying about. My biggest problem is that that is a lot more like a curse seal than anything else... or a demon type form... Also it still seems like the loss of your jutsu and higher thinking is just not a bad enough problem to have to deal with. I mean yea the psyche would have to deal with how close you would come to killing friends and foes but on the same point eventually you would possibly come to enjoy the power of that form...
