Layout of the Castle Grounds

User Image

...simplified version...may have things added on later!

User Image

1) Main road going over the lake and around the castle into town

2) Private road access into the castle

3) The entrance is guarded by the gates . Once you pass through you will meet the portcullis to actually enter the heart of the castle.

4) The castles private marina

5) West Wing...see post for west wing layout. Its three stories high and mainly houses the commons and dormitories.

6) The garage... I did say Radik had a weakness for cars right?

7) East Wing...see post for east wing layout. Its a expansive two stories high and houses the classrooms, kitchen, offices, master suites, and different reception halls. It also holds the golden door to the Spirit World.

8 ) Zelana Forest, the dark heavily wooden forest that goes on for acres and is a favorite place for spirits and monsters to hide. See its post down below for more details.

The Commons is the first floor of the West Wing. Here you will find all sorts of rooms. It is a more down to earth place than the East Wing. The Square like fort encases a dense courtyard shown above. Many doorways open into the inner courtyard that the building surrounds.

1) Entertainment Area: Pool tables, mini arcade games, a sitting area and small bar. It also has the theater center in a side room. Theater style. There is assorted video games and selection of up to date movies. This is a laid back place for people to hang out.

2) Library: One of the two libraries. This is the Common's Library, which is more noisy, messy, and just has a general home feeling. There is a wide selection of books, the only trouble is finding what you want!

3) Gym: Fully operative gym with equipment, swimming pool, and basketball court.

4) The Commons Dining area. A large dining hall for hungry students.

5) Music Room: This room provides sound proof walls and all the items needed for any budding musician.

Girl's Dormitory Lounge Area

:: Whose dorming where ::

2-A - Kiora "Kira" Morganstern Nyx

Kira's favorite color is red, the Devil's color her fiancee points out jokingly referring to the ironic fact that Kira's favorite color corresponds so well with her card, so much of her room corresponds with that color. Kira's dorm room is split up into three sections, a bedroom where she sleeps, a living room area inspired by her British born roots and time in both America and England which also contains her computer desk, and a walk in closet where she keeps her many clothes she has acquired from her shopping sprees and also her art desk.

DORM SKELETON

Once assigned a dorm, you can decorate however you want. Just for your information, even though there is a massive dining hall located downstairs, students are more than welcomed to have their own kitchen. Their rooms are large enough so you can be creative! See the example room for idea and size estimate.

-The idea is too send a little blurb of how your room is decorated. This will hopefully help me see how your characters live and let you be creative. You can have pictures or just use descriptions. It can be even two stories or one and there is really isn't a limit of what you can have. These descriptions may be post with your dorm number or in a separate post.

::EXAMPLES::

Hidiyoshi Suite: Known for his shrine roots and monk persona, it's no surprise his room reflects this. He sleeps on a mat in the his spacious living room. And works or eat in his traditional designed room. There is also inside gardens that Hidiyoshi tends to.

Somewhat of a 360 degree photo shoot of the area in front of the East Wing is shown above and the Staircase that will lead you upstairs

1 ) Scholar Library: This is the East Wing library that houses all the publications of the spirit world, its inhabitants, and historical cardholders. This is a quiet and no food allowed on pain of death library that spans the first and second

2 ) Classroom for Defense Training - Will come once classes start

3 ) Classroom for Offense Training - Will come once classes start

4 ) Lecture Hall

5 ) Medical Station

6 ) The Ballroom: Usually large formal events take place here such as the famous Masquerade Ball. There is a stage set right in front of the entrance to the ceremonial hall for theater productions.

7 ) Ceremonial Hall: The official and ornate banquet area. The Induction Dinner takes place here as well as other festive events.

8 ) Kitchen: Remodeled to capture the essence of medieval kitchen feel, it is actually equipped with the latest energy efficient equipments. Anything that comes out of the kitchen can easily earn five stars in the gourmet world.

9 ) The Golden Door: This is the only officially used route into the Spirit World located in the tower. It is mainly used by Diplomats. However, it still is heavily guarded from the Ugly spirits.

10 ) Sitting Area: A place you can seat along the corridor and peer outside as you wait for class.

11 ) Side areas from the foyer. Definitely a wipe you feet before entering!

East Wing

User Image

1 ) The staircase opens into the grand sitting areas that evoke the splendor of Dukes and Duchesses.

2 ) The Office Sector. Here you will find offices of diplomats, professors, solos, and Erasers. This place is usually bustling and during an emergency it becomes a battlefield.

3 ) The LongBorne Meeting Hall. Mainly a quiet place for large important meetings.

4 ) Radik Yanikova's office. So strikingly modern and chic that you forget that your are in a medieval castle.

5 ) The GreyHound Lounge. A regal dining area where most of the Arcane staff and faculty eat. Not generally used by students though they are allowed to eat here.

6 ) Suites for those holding positions in the Arcane Society. Currently only Radik and Hidiyoshi reside here, as well as servants and staff. More will be added when characters move out of the domitories.

7 ) No access, but this is the tower of Spirit World access. People who have an office sharing this wall sometimes hear...interesting noises.

8 ) The second floor of the Scholar Library!

ZELENA FOREST

User Image

A wild and heavily wooded forest known to have a diverse array of spirit inhabitants. This place is part training grounds, and open to exploration, except for a section deeper in the forest that is off limits. Beyond the forest are the snow capped mountains of Cerny Dul.

Training: The intermediate level courses will train in the Zelena forest. There is a training field besides the forest.

Exploration: Everyday new spirits crop up here in the forest. If you like seeking out spirits then this is the place to go, though you still need to be careful and should let someone know…people have disappeared in these woods.

Off Limit Zone
: An ancient but protective wall has been built to blockade those from accidentally going in too far. However there are several doorways…and some of there locks have broken. Behind the wall you find an abandoned walls of a once majestic castle. Now it is a site of a huge tear in the barrier and large monstrous beasts are known to pass through. Beware! {More to be revealed here once the story reaches this place!!!}

Forest Guardians
: These a select few of powerful, but Good spirits that watch over the forest and the Off Limit Zone. Its more than likely that if you are in trouble, one if not a few of them will come to your aid. {More to be revealed here once the story reaches this place!!!}

JOBS you can find in the forest:
- Spirit Explorer: Are you a budding researcher of spirits? Than this is the job for you. Document new spirits you find in the forest and later classify them into the libraries encyclopedia. This is a required job for those wanting to become a ‘Solo Explorer’
- Forest Protector: You become like one of the guardians of the forest. Keep a look out for dangerous and are the one to sound the alarm. Also keep human hikers and campers out of the area. You also have to watch over the lower classmen and of course prevent forest fires!
