A Sequel?

Take Gene and Melphina outta the story, have them be off somewhere growing old together. The Kei pirates make a brand new Melphina. Why they didn't make another in the first place is beyond me? That one escapes, hooks up with a new hot head Gene-like charactor and they end up on some planet where they meet Jim as an old man. Jim becomes an old man father figure instead of some bossy little know-it-all / their mechanic. They get the Outlaw Star which is out of date now but they're totally epic with it, whole new crew of awesome peeps, and off they go to find the Layline despite Jim constantly telling them there is, "Nothing at the Layline." Somewhere in the middle of the story they meet Gene and Melphina. Gene is one of those old letcher kinda guys, Melphina hasn't aged a day, and Gene shows the new main charactor his skills. It would be awesome.

I was 19 year old Jim though.

A prequel would be sweet. It could show how Gene became the odd fellow he is today / How Jim ended up an orphan from his Dad being arrested / how Jim and Gene met. < < I have a feeling Fred played a big part in Gene's childhood since Gene was kinda orphaned too. Fred had to of found him eatin' outta his garbage or somethin'.

Fred is so rich, he'd buy the whole damn pizza place for him. Like my Gene costume? I couldn't find blue earrings or any good red wigs.
