Okay, since the bump thing didn't work out.. I supposed I can just post my dreams.


I may post old dreams just for the hell of it.

In this dream, we were running away from these machines..
We, being a large group of people and myself with.. some guy that I was.. romantically involved with along with his little sister..

We were at a shopping center, and we were getting bullets for our guns..
( the woman that was in charge of weapons was supposed to be helping me pick the right bullets but she wasn't paying attention to me.. so it was taking a while)
as I was getting bullets the guy decides to take his little sister around the store.. but they couldn't figure out which way to go..

Thats when the little girl looked up at the ceiling and started whimpering.
Everyone else looked up and saw the indents in the ceiling of the dead bodies and monsters that had been chasing us.

Everyone started to panic and separate.. then one of the machines ripped through the back of the store.
I follow the guy and we run to the shoe department to get the little girl shoes because the ones she was in she couldnt run in.. I had picked her up some shoes but they didnt match.. I dont think anyone cared though..
I managed to put one shoe on and threw the other at the guy so he could put it on her as we ran.

We got outside and one of the leaders of the group said that there was only one bus coming and after it was full that they were blowing up the area so we had to hurry.

We didnt go for the bus but we ran into the woods.
Other people were already there.. and we sat and waited.. hoping that nothing bad would happen while we did so..
Suddenly a few trees burst in flame..
and if you squinted you could see a couple dressed in black and white just dancing and smiling at each other inside the flames..

This happened a few more times with a larger amount of couples... some just couldn't do it and ran..
One woman just stood there alone in the flames as she watched her lover run from her.

Seeing all of this I look over at the guy and kiss his neck, biting him slightly.
I knew he liked it.. and I did too.. it felt like it had been so long since we had had any intimate moment together... but he stopped me because he said everyone would think we were weird..

So I stop messing with him and glance over to the woods, I saw metal..
and I screamed..
The machines stood up from where they would settles and started torching the woods.

Everything was surrounded by flames, there were screams and crying..
I looked over at the guy and he looked straight into my eyes and we started dancing..

It felt good to finally have that last moment together..
and then I woke up.



Looked up some meanings of images that really stood out

Dance

This is fine. Personally, I would probably use the "Dreams" thread in the main forum, instead, but it's fine if you want to leave them here, instead. It's totally up to you. If you leave them here, you ought to make a post in the "Sub-forum Updates" thread. Most people don't check the sub-forums regularly, and that just gives you move visibility... And it's a free post.
As for dream "dictionaries," I think it's best not to put too much stock into them. Dreams and subconscious image associations are far, far too complex to be abler to be listed arbitrarily the way that they do.
Some things do, of course, have culturally ingrained significance that applies to many people, but I'd say almost as often as it helps, i t misleads. Furthermore, many things are cultural and not global and this is also a hindrance.
They can be helpful, but I think it's best to take caution and take the information with a grain of salt. I'll have a closer look at the dreams themselves, later on.

This dream.. was .. definitely different.

It still took place at my grandfathers house but only out in the yard. For some reason, the doors were missing on the house.

The oak trees were over grown, so it made it very difficult to walk on the path without stepping into the mud.

In one of the main oak trees which was on the.. right side if youre standing at the house door.. it was covered in iguanas.
Didn't like those too much..

And on the left, directly opposite was the other oak tree. The shop was still there in the dream. Which is odd since the shop was torn down years ago. But I walked over to it and crouched low to the ground looking at one of the stepping stones when the little blue jay started making noise. It was being awful loud. Then it tried to hit me and thats when I woke up.

There were other things that stood out to me, but not like the iguana and the blue jay.

All and all, I didn't like this dream. I hate waking up and feeling sick because of repetive dreams.

Okay.. that.. was funny as hell xD


from what I can remember I was just running around the yard trying any way I could to get away from these people.
I looked over at my aunts house and called your name.
You kinda poked your head out the door and had a "who is calling me look" and I asked you to come help me. You, yourself, never actually come out to help me.. you just sent those two people. Which.. when they tripped going down the stairs.. you came out on the porch to b***h at them for being stupid.

Did some more running around and you were like.. giving me advice from the porch xD .. it made no sense.
and I have no idea why they didn't come after you guys.

We.. a friend of mine, were waiting for my mother to get back with my family. While we were waiting we just ended up playing video games, when I got a phone call. It was my sister and for some reason I answered it on my moms cell phone. We were having a normal conversation.. I guess I really wasnt paying attention because now for some ******** reason I was at my grandfathers house again.

I had asked her " Oh!.. you never told me about why you broke up with your boyfriend" The conversation didn't get past that.

(Back story- my grandfathers place was known for getting flooded a lot.. so it was normal for it to rain and the 3 acres flood out. We also had a lot of cats growing up.. )

I was standing at the front of the house were the stone steps are looking over this metal ... thing. ( Idk what it is.. it holds like a crap ton of plants. I think its supposed to hold water for animals in a pastor) Water starts rising.. and along with it came a snake..
(I've always had dreams about snakes.. just.. flooding the yard at my grandpa.. hundreds.. thousands.. )

The snake eventually turned into 10 massive snakes. I knew something bad was ganna happen when I saw kittens starting to play near them. I tried grabbing for an orange kitten but the snake got it as well.. started having a tug of war match with me. The cat was soon dead and everything after that was kind of a blurr.

I remember seeing blood everywhere and watching one kitten having its head ripped off slowly. Its eyes ******** popping out of its head. another kitten had its jaw ripped off and its tongue fell on the ground. The sounds of kittens screaming is still stuck in my head along with all of this.

Waking up feeling utterly hopeless and.. shaking. it's definitely not the worst feeling in the world.

I've had tons of death dreams.. The last one was seeing a human get in an accident on the highway and get crushed by on coming cars while I just sat there and watched crying.


Just want this stuff to go away. I dont know whats wrong with me.

I've been having these nightmares for a while now.. and it's really starting to bug me.
So I googled Chronic nightmares and ended up finding out that there really is a nightmare disorder.

Everything that I found out on the site is what I have.
I don't know whether to be happy that I finally found some answers or sad that there is something wrong.

Yesterday I had a dream that truly made me afraid.

Last night I had a dream that scared me to the point of screaming & crying. I wasn't doing that when I was awake but it was happening so much in the dream that it actually woke me up.

I was in a hospital parking lot crying because my aunt left me there on my own & I was scared because they were doing a treatment on a dead person that just so happened to be someone that wanted to kill me. I knew if the experiment worked that he was going to come after me. I wanted to get as far away as possible but no one was helping me or believed me for that matter.

Last I remember I was begging a friend ( who in the dream was in the appearance of a orange kitten ) to come get me & stay with her. I woke up before anything actually happened though.
