In the daytime, it is a peaceful yet lively place. There are stores and vendors, and the smell of cuisine wafts through the square on a gentle breeze. There is always the sound of the leaves swaying together, and the fountain dribbling out a watery melody.
Current Events: None.

Eisha sat quietly upon the stone rim of the fountain, her long hair held over her shoulders so it wouldn't dampen in the water. It had been quite some time since she had been back here. Last time, the village had been attacked and many parts of it destroyed, but now, it was as if nothing had happened. It had once more blossomed, and bustling with life as if nothing bad had ever happened.
She took a bite out of her takoyaki on a stick, before turning her gaze to a pair of young twilifs who were trying to imitate the fancy dancing of two constellation counterparts, who were, for lack of better words, street performers.
Eisha's gaze quickly skipped back to the ground in front of her. "I can't..dance." she thought bitterly.

An amused, soft laugh rose from behind Eisha, the tone anything but unfamiliar to the woman. Elbows curved at his stomach, Loki stepped around her, watching the two twilifs with a crooked smile. After a few beats, he angled his head to look at Eisha.
"My dear, you sit here as if your feet are bound by stones!" Tsking and shaking his head, Loki offered her his hand, taking a step back, the motion playful. "Come, let Loki show you how to do it!"
Without waiting for a reply, the trickster snatched Eisha's hand in his own, twirling and bringing her with him around the struggling twilif. His steps appeared to be without rhythm or purpose, but he still managed to piece an uncomplicated dance together, eyes glowing with amusement as he watched Eisha's feet.
"This is easy! Yes?"

"Food on a stick, food on a stick, who doesn't love food on a stick! I doooo..don't I?" Bahtier thought to himself in a sing song voice. Tilting his head to the side as he once more stared intently at the cinnamon coated bon bons, all sugary and sweet and impaled upon the cute pink stick.
If there was one thing bahtier loved it was sweets, at least he was pretty sure he loved sweets. Devouring one of the little dough balls and chewing softly, just to be sure, sucking up a second and licking the stick after getting every cinnamony drop. Yes, yes he did like sweets! Floating about lightly on barely visible feet, gold and silver eyes flashing over the scenes of dancing people curiously. Now..did he like dancing also?

Too quickly it had happened, before she was able to fully comprehend Loki behind her, before she found herself heaved from her roost. She barely had time to bite onto her takoyaki stick to save her scrumptious snack from certain demise on the ground.
Her face flustered as she was twirled about in an unorthodox fashion, her greaves clanking around, as if she were a dancing mecha. A deeper fluster came when her ears tuned in on the twlif children snickering at the spectacle.
"Wruff arf frou froing writh mfreee!?" Which, in this case, probably meant 'What are you doing with me!?'.
As they spun, Eisha caught the gaze of Bahtier. Oh no, onlookers! What if they started putting coins at their feet?! The embarrassment!

In playful response, Loki puffed his cheeks and attempted to mimic what her voice sounded like. "Mff francing fwiff you," he stopped when his cheeks ran out of air, laughing. "I am dancing with you! What does it look like?"
With that, he dipped her, looking every bit triumphant at their display. "We make a good pair, eh? Dancing is free, Valkyrie! Do not be bothered by the idea of looking bad because we lack structure." He spun her, keeping their hands clasped together so she wouldn't go flying. "Has no man ever asked you to dance? A woman inexperienced in dancing is strange, indeed!"
It was clear that he was enjoying his torment - although he failed to see how it would be torment; dancing was a blast! - and that he didn't intend on stopping anytime soon. He was careful to keep Eisha from falling, using his leg or foot or hand when needed to support her. He also used these appendages to keep her trapped, to keep her on her feet and moving.

Bahtier couldn't stifle a small muffled giggle, stuffing the rest of the stick and sweet treats into his mouth as he applauded. Dancing looked like good fun! Maybe a bit to quick for himself, but still fun, at least all the others seemed to be having fun, loud twirly fun fun fun!
The poe bobbing where he stood, tilting his head back and forth to the beat. Nibbling on nothing but the stick now, somehow even the wood seemed tasty in this sort of setting.
~~~~
Daskri Mal twirled the tip of his braid absently between his fingers as he eyed the merchants wears, chimes and little ghost dolls hung about the awning. Various brightly polished shells and glass bobbles lay all across the shelves. He'd never been one to spend much on trinkets, but somehow getting a set of chimes just seemed like a lovely idea. Or at least one of those adorable little ghosts, soo cute...
Bluegreen eyes skimming away from the stand for a moment, running over the village square..To think that not so long ago this place had been rubble and chaos..It'd been beautifully reborn though, maybe even better then it had been before. Certainly more lively, and all the past terrors seemed forgotten and far removed from here.
Eisha staggered back and forth as Loki tumbled her around, manipulating her center of gravity with his limbs. Hastily, she gobbled the last of her takoyaki from the stick, letting the sliver of wood tumble to the ground.
"People are going to get the wrong idea!" she cried, her voice wavering as she was dipped up and down, around and around. "Only lovers dance together in such a flamboyant..d-display!"
Oh, why was she letting herself tumble around in such a jest? The better question might be...why did she feel slightly overpowered by one with such a lithe build? Especially knowing her own strength. Blasphemy!
"Ooh, of course no man has asked to dance with me, because their question would be answered at the point of my lance!" Though, admittedly, she did begin to feel a little exhilaration of being twirled around, back and forth, enough to where a faint smile formed on her lips, and soft, girlish giggle bubbled from her. A rare moment for her indeed.
Noctis looked at the festivities, in a similar position to how Eisha was previously. Alone and wistful. His takoyaki on a stick eaten contentedly as he looked to the dancing crowds. It was ironic-- hanging out in a village he once helped to destroy.
Actually, not as content as he'd like to be. In an ordinary situation like this, he would go pick up a few village girls-- you know, they're happy because of the festivities, and if they were happy-- happy girls were much easier to pick up. He just.. didn't feel right picking up girls. This is what he hated about love. Your love had to extend exclusively to one person-- he preferred it to be inclusive. Sharing the love. So why didn't he stand up? His legs didn't move from the spot,letting a steaming hot piece fall into his mouth.
His tongue was set on fire as he choked on the piece, hastily grabbing his drink to down the rest of that down. HOT HOT HOT. (Ha! Seir probably couldn't handle hot takoyaki. Considering the other was water themed-- Noctis would like to see him try that!) He coughed, regretting his careless action.
---------------------------------------------------------
"It's really a beautiful village again. In such a short time too.. That's quite impressive." Rhyme said to Ikuto, taking a sip of a sweet jelly drink with a small grin.
Ikuto was grumpy. Grumpy he had to stay in crowds like this. But festivities like this didn't happen often. Even so, he would have preferred to stay on a higher place to watch the festivities. Unfortunately, he wasn't there. The frown evident on his expression clearly revealed his dislike. He didn't like noise.. but he did like the flavored milk they were offering at the stands.
It was almost worth enduring this bothersome festival for a little while.
"Now that is a face I remember~" a playful, sultry voice chimed in the direction of Noctis. Dark hair hung down to her ankles, contrasting to her fair skin in the dappled sunlight. Ishka dropped her ruby eyes upon him, taking a few steps from her shaded perch. She had only come here to look at what could be her future home...Certainly, she did not expect to find this familar face here, and all by himself, no less.
"You're all healthy now, so why such a long face?" she stopped in front of him, one hand balanced on her full hips, the other swaying slightly at her side. What a strange man. He certainly didn't give off a hermity, loner feeling the last time I saw him.
"Healthy doesn't equal happy you know." Noctis said, biting another takoyaki piece with a sudden amount of immense interest in the piece. His red and yellows eyes shifted irately, sending a narrow glance to Ishka.
"What brings you here? Don't tell me that you're looking to dance. I'm an excellent partner dancing in bed but if you're looking for physical dancing, like ballet, I'll warn you now that that's not my style." He shook his head, the array of snacks beside him revealed that he had been set to content himself with festival goodies.
"You want some?"
A girlish laughed sounded from Ishka. "Don't be silly, those two are making too much of a spectacle for us to compete with them. We wouldn't stand a chance! Afterall, how can you compete with people in love?" She cast the trapped Eisha a smirk, knowing the girl could hear her, but she couldn't resist the opportunity.
Ishka sat next to Noctis, crossing her legs and leaning back. She ignored his offer for food, but continued talking. "So I take it you didn't find her, yet? But then, I guess she'd be here with you, if you did, so I answered my own question." She gave him a thoughtful expression, studying his face.
Finally, she took him up on his offer, reaching over and stealing a meatbun. She took a large bite out of it, holding it with both hands. When she wasn't in her serious-business mode, Ishka seemed a lot more casual, friendly, yet perhaps a little blunt with her words. There was something wise about her, yet something girlish and naive.
"Nice job in cheering me up. Why bother asking if you already know the answer?" Noctis shook his head to Ishka's comment. Did she just have to rub it in like so? His frown deepened, lighting a cigar, breathing in smoke and letting it flow out.
"What, no purification rituals you should be doing? What do you do for a living anyways?" Noctis asked, readjusting his position to lie down on the giant fountain bench. It was sloppy and rude to lie down when talking to someone but Noctis wasn't exactly known for his manners.
The lantern witch narrowed her eyes at his retort, but her look softened a little. She could tell he was having some kind of internal conflicts, perhaps since she had let slip that tasty bit of info that she had the last time they met.
"My, my." she tsked at his sarcastic debut, a look of slight pity on her face. "Well... I do many things, really...but, this is one of the first times I've come out of the forest in a long, long time." She wouldn't even give him a direct answer, but how could she? She was a hermit who guarded a pile of ruins, how great does that sound?
"So, why are you here, and without your comrades?" Did you think she'd be here, back at her village? She wanted to ask him, but the question didnt come out. Truth be told, she was concerned, wanted to know the outcome, but did not want to meddle.
Jadecrystal and her companion, Firesoul, sat behind the fountain.
Having four legs/being nonexistent to everything besides your bonded really didn't help dancing, after all."Jaade," the cat-shaped spirit said sweetly, "talk." The Holy Beast refused to talk, but finally gave in to her partner. " Fine, so what?"
