--No Picture Yet--- Amegakure is situated in an unnamed country. The country's borders are highly defended, and those wishing to pass through it are subject to constant surveillance for the duration of their stay. As it is situated between three of the Five Great Shinobi Nations, it serves as a battlefield for their wars, and most of the population consists of war refugees. Quote: Village funds

Karinth lay back on a low hill with rain falling around his body as a carefully wrapped form sat at his side and another form worked on the small hidden garden at the base of the hill. The constant rains were annoying at times but helped him keep his garden secret at the same time. He yawned slowly as his fingers twitched slowly as he carefully controlled the puppet as he cared for the various fungi, mushrooms, and molds that were quite important to his study of toxins. He was bored and supposed to be on a mission but was delaying a bit since it did not seem as though it would be difficult.

A young man sat on a wooden bench in the dead center of the village. He looked out into the streets, watching several people just walking around, seemingly going nowhere. His ninja headband hung from his neck, like a necklace. A yawn came from this boy, as he moved from his back on the bench, arms resting on the top part of the bench, to a leaned forward position, elbows resting on his knee's; a more 'I'm bored' position more than anything. But his life really wasn't too exciting here as of late. Taking over a village as it's new leader, has it's ups and downs. Ups being the fact that, you are famous, and you get to lead your village to do great things. Downs being, once you get to the level of Kage, your life becomes boring. You don't do much fighting, everyone protects you like your a little child. You feel like you go through an entire forest worth of paper daily. It seems like a dream job, until you get there, and then it's almost like, he didn't wanna do it anymore. Kaito sat on the bench, probably a solid hour before he stood up. Just needed somewhere to go to just take time off to think about things. Since he took the title of Kage, he really just never had time for himself anymore. What he really needed, was something to liven his life up some. Maybe some kind of training fight, or something along them lines. As he walked down the road, he kicked the same rock three times in a row, and then walked passed it scratching an itch on his head. "Man... I am so bored...." He mumbled under his breath. Just low enough for him to say to himself, and no one else to hear. Slowly walking down the street, walking at three fourths of his normal pace speed, he heard something coming that sounded interesting; it sounded like a fight! This noise was definitely close by, but not in the village. The rain village wasn't exactly huge, so really, it was possible to know exactly what was going on at all times. Kaito now, had something to do. He quickly followed where the noises where coming from. As he turned the corner, he saw four people. What looked to be a jounin, and three younger ninja practicing against him. This just brought a large grin to his face, as it gave him an idea. Maybe he could train another team of his own. It had been a while since he had his own team. More than anything, he missed it. Kaito enjoyed teaching younger ninja, it was fun for him. One reason he liked so much, is because he sort of got to relieve his glory days. The days before he was just sitting at his desk all day, and signing papers. This was going to be good for him, now all he had left to do, was find a team of ninja to teach! About an hour after this run in with this jounin and his students, he was back at his office. As he walked into his room, he saw his adviser sitting there, like he always was. His name was Jinsei. Jinsei had been the adviser of the last kage also, so when Kaito took over, he just did the same for him. Kaito got a small grin on his face, and with that smirk, his adviser shook his head. When this grin was on his face, Jinsei always knew Kaito was up to something. "Jinsei.... I have a job for you..." Jinsei stood up, yawning a little bit, and scratched the side of his head, waiting for the question. "I need you to do all my paperwork for me. I'm going to be taking on a ninja team, and with my new ninja team, I'm not gonna have time for them, and the paperwork. There's just way too much paperwork, and training students is hard work. So, I really just need someone who knows what their doing to do this work for me, and no one else could do this for me as good as you could. It's just temporary, just until I'm done with my team at least." Jinsei just smiled a little bit. "Of course I'll do it for you, it's my job to do what jobs you need done. Just have fun!" And with that, Kaito headed towards the door. "Thank you!" And with that, he was out the door. With a short fifteen minute walk, he was at the academy. Slowly, he opened the door and stepped in. Just a bunch of random memories ran through his head just as he looked around the place. It looked the same as it did as when he grew up. "Man, this place hasn't changed a bit. The potted plants are still on the wall. Pictures are still in the same places. This is just a ton of nostalgia." These were his thoughts as he saw the layout of the school. The Amekage walked to the desk where the secratary was at. She had already been informed of the kage's arrival, and just handed him a list of the graduating student. Kaito scanned the list, searching for his soon to be new students. "H'mm... I want this one, this one, and this one." As he said the names, he circled them and handed them back to the secretary. "Send them to the park when school's released today, I'll be there waiting." And with that, he turned, and walked out the door. Kaito was on his way to the park. Quote: 37/xx Lines - Team Training

Kyeth was pacing around a small path he'd made in the park. He'd come here as soon as he'd been informed that the Amekage had chosen him to be a member of his ninja team. Having just recently graduated he hadn't thought he'd of been noticed as quickly as he had been, but he wasn't about to complain. Being trained by a Kage was rare, but being trained by a Kage when you were just out of the academy and still a Genin was almost undeard of. On the outside Kyeth appeared calm and serious, as he always did, but inside his mind was a riot. His mind kept jumping to glamorous visions of going on missions beside the Kage, of doing training work outs with him, and also just of getting to know him. The Kage was young; the youngest Amekage the village had ever seen. This excited Kyeth beause it proved to him that you could become a great and powerful ninja without decades of training. If you worked hard enough and worked smartly it would come, and the Amekage was proof of that.
After an hour or so Kyeth's excitement started to dwindle as neither his friends from the academy nor the Amekage showed up. Walking to a bench and sitting down leaning over his knees his face in his hands as doubt washed over him. Maybe this was just a surprise final the academy used to try and trick people to see how gullible they were. Maybe the Amekage just did that to get a few cheap laughes out of some young hopeful kids, or maybe the Amekage had decided that he wasn't worth his time and had picked someone else. All these thoughts offered themselves as an explanation to the Kage's absence.
Jumping back to his feet fighting the doubt in his mind he decided that the best thin to do while waiting was to train. What could it hurt? Sure the park was public property, but he wasn't going to destroy anything valuble, or hurt anyone. Walking over to a think pine tree Kyeth made the several hand motions required for his blood line jutsu. Then when he felt the bones in his leg become denser and stronger than before he lifted his leg in a round house kick and struck the tree about three feet of the ground. The area of impact splintered as Kyeth's foot sunk into the wood. Panicking that he'd overdone it again Kyeth pulled his foot back out of the seven inch indent he'd made into the trunk of the tree.
"Mabe training wasn't such a good idea." He says quietly as he shoves his hands in his pocket and walks back over to the bench and sits down deciding it would be best to just sit and wait patiently for the Amekage.

"What the hell are you doing to my tree?" Kaito said laughing a little bit. It really didn't bother him any, he was just messing with the newly ranked genin. The young shinobi scanned the park. Nobody besides Kyeth was around. "Where's the rest of the team?" He asked, like Kyeth would have known who was in his team., and what they were doing. School had just been let out, so more than likely the kids being young kids, had been taking there time walking here, or talking to friends after school. It would have been nice for them to have been here, but for now he would just start work with the one that was here. "Alright, well then. No one else is here, so I guess I will get to know you. Over the course of the next few weeks, we will go on plenty of missions, and do a lot of training. Now by reading your reports your teachers filled out... It looks like you excel in the uses of Taijutsu. I like that. This is going to be fun for me and you both. I've never trained a legitimate Taijutsu user. Is there anything you feel like you need to work on more than anything? Like your speed, power? Maybe just need to add some new techniques to your arsenal." Kaito was trying to break the ice with Kyeth. He wanted to get any type of shyness out of the way. Just wanted to get to know this kid. Taijutsu wasn't exactly his strong point, but he could definitely teach it. One that about Kaito was, if he didn't know something, how to do something, how to teach something, he would learn it no matter how long it took, or how hard it was. Failure just wasn't an option for him. These good qualities were those which got him his position in the village. Now, the next question was 'Where were the other students?'

Kyeth jumped startled when he heard the Amekage scold him loudly about the tree. On his feet now at full attention he stutters out feebly, "I.. I... Um I was just trying to practice my kicks." Kicking a rock he tries to look at you for the first time and sees you were laughing. Damnit, He thinks to himself, he was just joking... Looking up at you he notived your scanning eyes, and when you asked where the other members were he looked out over the park kind of shrugging. "I don't know... I'm surprised I made it here first; i'm usually the one running late..." He mutters as he starts to relax looking at the ground and grinding at a stone with the toe of his show.
Hearing you talk about his plans for the team his mood brightened considerably as he looked up. "That sounds most agreeable to me Amekage," he says then adds in on a second thought, "if it's all the same to you who all else did you chose for this team?" He wrings his hands as he spoke hoping he hadn't picked any of the kids from the academy that hated him. He didn't want to have to worry if his squad mates were loyal enough to have his back on a mission or not.
Flexing his arms when you ask about his specialization he grins wide as he nudges towards the tree. "Yes I am slightly skilled at Taijutsu," hearing you ask if he wanted to train with you he got a little nervous. Fight a Kage level shinobi as a Genin? Is this guy serious I couldn't stand up to him if I wanted. "Sure I would like that." He says as he backs away into a stance.
Kyeth could sense that the Amekage was trying to break down the walls between the two of them as quickly as possible, and even though he had doubts that he could keep stride with the the Amekage, but he wasn't about to let that keep him from trying his damnest to beat him. "Don't think I'm going to go easy on you though."

Mitsuki sighed, brushing strands of stray hair from her eyes. She was fairly certain she was late to her first ever team meaning, and she could only imagine the kage wouldn't be pleased. Hopefully she would only be off by a few minutes and he wouldn't notice. As her grandfather had drilled into her head that morning, first impressions with your superiors were very important, especially considering that the leader of their cell was the new Amekage.
Still, she was excited. Being chosen to be a member of the Kage's team considering she was only a recent graduate of the academy was a prestigious honor. She wasn't quite sure why she had been granted the opportunity, but it didn't matter. She would prove herself to him, and to her new teammates.
Her dog Kuro loped happily at her side, tongue lolling out from his massive jaws. Absentmindedly she reached down, stroking his head. "Be a good boy today, all right? We need this to go well." Kuro let out a woof, licking her hand. Strapped across his back was a pack of provisions that he always carried, something useful about the Inara clan's affinity for dogs.
Mitsuki stopped walking momentarily, scanning the area. Her ears pricked slightly, and she looked to her left, inhaling. She could smell two men nearby, could hear the faint traces of their voices despite their distance. Having the senses of a dog came in handy, and smiling down at Kuro she jerked her head. "Alright then, let's go. I've got their scent."
She patted him once more before beginning to jog, then run, Kuro following her pace perfectly. The less late she was, the better. She lept to a low tree branch, pushing off and jumping quickly from tree to tree to cover the ground more quickly, Kuro shadowing her from the ground. The further she went the stronger the scent got and the more she could hear of the two voices speaking.
As the voices owners came into view she slowed, leaping down and straightening herself, Kuro coming to a halt beside her, panting. One she recognized from photos as the kage; the other she wasn't familiar with. Brushing a hand back through her bangs she cleared her throat, bowing slightly. "Hello, you must be my team. I'm Mitsuki Hinote, pleased to meet you." She said, tanding from her bow and smiling, her face slightly red from embarassment.
Nervously, she straightened the tape cloth bandaging covering the wounds on her knuckles from last week's training. "I'm really sorry I'm late." She said, forgetting to offer an explanation.

Listening to the Taijutsu user talk made Kaito chuckle a little bit. "We'll just don't be late to anything and things will be alright. I'm really not a mean guy. I just like things on time. And I like things done the way I tell you to do them. That really all I'm going to ask of you kids. Hard work and commitment go a long way in this world. You work hard, and do things right. You will succeed. Do things wrong, just the slightest mistake can leave you dead." You could tell the Amekage was serious just by the tone of his voice. These were true statements though. "But anyway, that discussions for another time." Next the Genin asked about the team. "Well I honestly just picked three random kids from the academy. It just so happened in our favor that we got three student's who look promising in a certain category of jutsu's. Your our hand to hand Taijutsu user. It's not to often you find someone who specializes in that, because most people aren't naturally physically gifted. Most ninja, like myself, specializes in Ninjutsu. Your next two teammates both are gifted ninjutsu users. One's a inuzukan, and the other is a mizu. So we have an interesting group to work with. And oh, just for the record, call me Kaito. Were working together the next few months, just call me by name." And just as he finished his sentence, the Inuzukan appeared.
Kaito smiled at the young girl. She looked as though she was embarrassed. If he remember correctly, she was the oldest in the group. "Ahh, hello there Mitsuki." He said walking towards the girl. As he slowly pace himself towards her he noticed some bandages on the girls hands. The Amekage grabbed her left hand, looked it over for a few seconds, and smiled again. "Looks like you have been working hard. I like to see that. Hard work pays off." He lowered his hand, her hand still connected with his own, and released it and turned around, now facing Kyeth again, who looked like he was ready for a fight.
Kyeth looked like he was ready to go. Kaito chuckled again. He knew this was going to be a fun group of kids already. "Kyeth, we will train. Just not here. This is a public park you nut." He said chuckling a little bit. "So tell me kids, what do you want to do with your lives? What's some of your guys personal goals?" Kaito felt the better he knew the kids, the better this was going to be. He wanted to make them feel like they were friends rather teacher and students.

Ka’rinth stood slowly and stretched popping his shoulders and spine in an oddly methodical manner as he made his puppet walk to him and handed it a roll of bandages to wrap around his body so that he would appear to be a bound puppet instead of a puppeteer. It was not that rare a tactic but it was the type of thing most bandits and the like only ever had one chance to encounter. He stretched his arms once more as the bandages reached his waist and relaxed his arms while using the minimum movements needed to control the puppet until he was fully bound. Once bound Ka’rinth would regulate his breathing until it was a simple pattern of in and out that possessed deceptively little movement. With an internal smile his shifted his body to seem stiffer than he actually was while having his puppet to shoulder his weight and begin walking back towards the village. He had little drive but it seemed the current task he was supposed to be pursuing involved a puzzle of some sort which was usually enough to at the very least peak his interest and get him to show up and meet the client. Some puzzles were too simple and made him not even care enough to explain or show the solution but every now and then he would encounter one that made him think or pause to study how it was made as much as figure out the answer.
Fetch 12/100 maybe.

As Ka’rinth was carried back towards the village he contemplated the best approach for getting to the village, he had a few underground tunnels he had bored in the past while growing accustomed to manipulating lava and acid. Yet he hated having a chance of revealing his tunnels even though it was simple to fill them in or create new ones. As the puppet moved forward Ka’rinth sat patiently and worked to make sure that the puppet moved smoothly and in a human like manner. He enjoyed adding quirks and mannerisms to how his puppets moved to make them seem more human and as such had given it a slight limp where the foot dragged slightly as though from an old wound. It was good to be free at times and much better than being tied into darkness though there were advantages to being in the darkness as well. Ka’rinth’s hands were steady as he moved and allowed a little of the newest persona to emerge as the puppet hunched a bit further beneath the burden of the body. It was nearly time to appear before others again and as usual there was a certain apprehension about just what would happen once he reached it and who would be preparing for his return. Hopefully it wasn’t anyone capable of overpowering him but to prepare for all eventualities there were more preparations to be made to play it safe.

Ka’rinth’s mind buzzed as he considered the chances that the mission would be too simple versus those that it would be too troublesome and allowed the puppet to continue walking as he worked on pitching his voice to make it more expressive as it issued from the mouth of the puppet. He often worked on ways to improve his ability to disguise the nature of his puppets and felt that beyond the habits and affections the characteristics of speech and expressiveness of the face were crucial. Between the two the expressions of the face were the most difficult to manipulate and he often worked on ways to improve his puppets so that they were able to express what he desired more easily. As he reached the village he headed for the towering housing complex that the client lived in ignoring the rain that had begun soaking through the wrapped bandages. He was careful to control his breathing as the puppet entered the client’s proximity and knocked lightly on the door. He had been careful to pad the knuckles with leather to avoid the easily recognizable sound of wood on other hard surfaces and make his puppet more life like. After a short time the door opened and the puppet was examined before the figure said, Who are you? I am Ka’rinth, I was sent to solve a puzzle per a request. May I please see the puzzle? The man eyed him warily before cracking the door and saying, Sure but another failure will just mean low level ninja are no good for my request. Ka’rinth made a vague non-committal sound and had the puppet walk after the man. As they moved through the hallway and past a small bed room and kitchen he took in his surroundings casually before turning his attention to the large library they had entered. I ask for someone intelligent and they keep sending me random people that probably think puzzles are something you fiddle with until it turns out right without understanding the intricacies of a true puzzle. How can I let such fools mess about with something that there might only be one chance of opening? Now if there was a real genius here to look at it I’d be happy but oh no, just one genin after another like it’s something simple and enough monkeys thrown at it will create a masterpiece. Ka’rinth was bored already as he glanced about the room at trivial and minor puzzles unimpressed in every way shape and form at what he was viewing. His eyes skimmed the titles of several books and he saw nothing he had not already read so he dismissed the majority of the library before turning to the man and saying, Yes, yes, that’s all well and good but are you going to show me the puzzle or not? I don’t like wasting my time unless it’s on myself so if you have nothing to show shut it and let me go my way. I’m sure you recognize my name, the village isn’t that big, I’m the eternal genin because I don’t care to advance but I’m also good with puzzles. If I wasn’t at least a bit talented or clever I could never have become a puppet master or designed my own puppets and believe me, if you’ve ever created or fought puppets you’ll know how to handle puzzles so cut to the chase or find some muscle brain to break it open for you. The man was taken aback but then moved to a wooden chest and opened it to reveal the puzzle that he wanted solved. Very original, keep the possibly priceless puzzle in the wooden chest at the center of the room. Thought Ka’rinth as he moved forward and had his puppet lean down to examine it closely while he glanced over his shoulder to view it and sighed nearly moving his head in disappointment as he said, Seems pretty straight forward to me, six sides, one for each element, fire, earth, water, lightning, and wind, but nothing on the sixth side. Just draw a yin yang and you have the natures of chakra meaning a bit of pure chakra to the sixth side is the most likely answer or maybe even drawing a yin and yang symbol though I would think the later would be the best one to try first. With a single thread of Chakra Ka’rinth reached out to touch the bottom of the box and see what happened with his hypothesis.

A small hovel in rain country hidden beneath mounds of fallen buildings emitted the light of a small fire. A man sat on a small pile of debree warming his hands over the crackling flames, his mind trying to draw away from the down pour outside that fell so consistantly.
Rain country was, as always, in ruin. He found the solitude peaceful though, away form the main village he lived in one of the many wartorn former villages that had been built up before the great war. It was a huge blow to the populas whom had just begun to finally recover from the former war. Either way though it kept him happy, he was finally alone, no longer bothered by the many sounds of a busy city. Something though bugged him, a small itch in his mind... a nagging feeling as if somewhere something terrible had happened. He shoot his long wet hair back, a set of golden eyes reflecting the flame, loosing his mind once more in the warmth that came from it... as always he tried to keep his mind from wondering about such things knowing it would only bring harm.

Ka'rinth did not even bother turning as his team leader approached with a slight smile. Which are you today front, back, or other? Not that it matters you're going to the chuunin exams today and it's not negotiable. If you don't then your garden might end up flooded and washed away. Ka'rinth's puppet turned to stare at the man before he sighed and said softly, Sound village right? I'm on my way. With that he would simply have the puppet turn and make his way out to go by his house and pack everything he would need. He agreed to go to the exams, not put effort into them.
