It had been a while since they last spoke about 'that' subject. Raha was still quite nervous about it. He couldn't help himself. How would they be? Would they like him? Would they listen to him? What if they decided that they hated it here? It reminded him of his own parents; were they upset that he had left? He had to admit, he had been quite the foolish young guy, following a meek and terrifiled little lioness across the savanna after her sister. Somehow they had made it here safely, and yet Raha wondered just how it was he got here. Life was weird, once you sat around to think about what you've done, you wondered just how it happened.

Fatia on the other hand never thought about those kinds of things. She liked to take life how it was day by day, and always thought it was silly to mope about what happened in the past. If she did, she would be quite a wreak worrying about how her childhood was, all the way up until she had been granted her freedom. She had no idea what to do with the term 'freedom, no matter how much her sister Tanana had talked about it when they were children. She loved where she was in life, and was content being just a nanny, helping out children and being surrounded by so much love everyday. She was still a little nervous, but having another nanny as a friend made the transition much smoother. She didn't feel as personally responsible for the kids as she thought she would, but there was still a lot to keep in mind, to teach, and to learn other things that weren't taught, like how to interact with others, whether happy, sad, or upset. SHe finally felt like she had fit somewhere.

She trotted over to Raha, as he was finished with his hunting duties for the day. The both of them were doing quite well together, and with the look Fatia had on her face, Raha could only guess that she was ready to have 'that' talk again. Sigh.

"Raha~!" she exclaimed, looking quite happy with herself as she flopped on top of him, getting an 'oomph' in return. "Heeey, I guess we're both done today," she smiled, feeling quite comfy on top of her mate. Raha only shook his head, though there was an apparent smile on his face. "What is it?" he asked, knowing the answer, and that it would make her a little indignant. Indeed, he was quite right as she poked him in the back of the neck, his mane absorbing most of the motion. "Hey!" she pouted, rolling off of him and near his belly. "This is seroius, Raha."

"I know, I know," he said. She still continued on like he hadn't said a single thing. "I really want to get this going sometime, y'know! And you won't know how its going to go until they come." She pouted, that cute little face that Raha had a hard time ignoring. He rolled over, giving her little warning that he was going to give her a little squish of love. She squealed slightly and tried to push him off, laughing the whole time. "Heeeey!"

Raha finally let her go, and both of them were a little dirtier than they were moment ago. AH well, at least the bugs would leave them alone for a little while longer. He shook his head, "I don't know, Fatia....are you sure about this?"

Fatia couldn't believe he'd ask her that. Again. She rolled her eyes and shook her head yes. "Why are you making it so dramatic?" she asked, unable to stop herself. Raha snorted, "Why are you so adamant? You're acting like you're almost out of time, and that my dear," he said, giving her a little nudge on the stomache, "isn't true. You're not that old, love."

Fatia only pouted at him.

They were silent for a while, and finally he gave in. What else was he supposed to do? He knew that it would happen eventually, but he didn't want to have Fatia mad at him once that time came around. No little army going after him, no thanks.

Fatia couldn't believe it! "Yay!" she tackled him, so happy. "You won't regret this now, beloved." They snuggled together for a little while, just enjoying their time together for a while. While it wasn't really that quiet around them, as the pride's life never stopped, it was nice to spend time together without having to worry about duties or interruptions. That time would soon end, and both of them were aware of it.

"Raha, what would you want to name them?" she asked, thinking about it. He could only shake his head and chuckle, "Whatever you would want," he answered. She furrowed her brows for a moment, and sighed. "Well, fine, but if I'm stuck on a name you'd better help me choose between them." Raha only nooded.

Geez, this wasn't going to be that much fun, was it?

"Maybe something after my family," he mused, really starting to think about it now. He had to admit it, he missed them. He hadn't seen anyone for a while. A visit might not be a bad idea, but he was worried to leave Fatia alone; they had gotten a little too used to one another. Maybe in the future something would be able to happen.

Fatia's eyes brightened. "Hey, me too! Maybe not my parents, but I did like my siblings a lot..." she pondered. "Maybe something similar to their names...or maybe not." She secretly hoped for a large family, as it could only be filled with love. It was something she had wanted once she had been freed, yet it had seemed so unattainable in that point of time. Now? It was really going to happen, and soon.

Raha leaned back, his belly exposed to the sky, or at least the parts that Fatia's head weren't reclining on. "Well, we can figure it out when it happens," he said, thinking about how Fatia would be with them a lot, being a nanny. Raha would only be home when not hunting, but perhaps that might make the adjustment better. Or could it possibly make it harder on him?

Too many questions. He only hoped that it would happen...gulp, sometime soon. Worrying too much might make him not the sort of father he wanted to be. Things would happen how they were meant to.

He noticed Fatia dozing on his belly, the warm sun a compliment to their lighter coats. Yeah, things would be okay.
