Liliana strode down the sidewalk intent on a walk in the park. Now was time for her to relax and even better she would be able to sing with very little disturbance to others around her. They either seemed not to notice or not to mind.
Lily hummed light has she turned the corner, the park in her sights. She was almost their and her heart was particularly bursting with song. She tapped the beat to the song lightly on her side, how she love the new song. She managed to memorize it in record time. She skirt swayed from side to side and her ballerina flats clicked against the pavement, as she turned into the park.
The grass was dry and Lily chose to walk across it, creating her own path and giving herself some solitude.
"You would not believe you eyes, if ten million fireflies filled up the open air, as I fell asleep," she sung happily, her tone light and even. The song was sung well, as singing was Maia's most treasure gift. Her passion.
"Cause they'd fill the open air and leave teardrops everywhere. You'd think me rude but I was just stop and stare," she sang as she continued across the grass.
"I try to make myself believe ..."

Azzo was walking across the park as well. Hearing someone else sing. For some reason his mind flicked to another person before pausing near Liliana to watch her.
She wasn't who he thought she was, but she was definitely singing. "You have a pretty voice." He said finally after a while. Unsure if she'd noticed him watching her.
He wasn't sure he'd heard the song before though that didn't really matter, considering she could carry a tune and give a good enough idea of the melody that she was singing.
He tilted his head slightly as he watched her, giving him that comical curious puppy look.

Liliana hadn't notice the boy watching her and instantly stopped her singing when she heard his voice. She was slightly startled, but recover quickly though a slight blush at her being startled was evident.
She turned to the boy who was watching her with an expression much like the puppies at the shelter. She smiled softly," Thank you. I love to sing. I hope I didn't disturb you."
She approached the boy, thinking that he looked familiar and wondered if he attended her school. For once she was unsure of what to say, but she stuck her hand out and introduced herself.
"My name is Liliana Jacobs. You look familiar, do you attend Meadowview High."

Azzo smiled, "No of course not, actually you reminded me of a friend."
He paused when she asked if he attended Meadowview. "Yeah, for a little while. Hopefully I'll graduate at the end of this year." He seemed vaguely unsure, considering what'd happened with the school that he barely remembered.
He shook her hand, "Azzo Crowley." He gave a smile.

Lily smiled happy she had not disturbed the boy. "Does your friend sing as well," she asking hearing that she reminded the boy of a friends.
She smiled happy that she had indeed recognized the boy. "Well if you are to graduate this year I doubt we have any classes together. I've only just turned 16 and I'm in my junior year. Maybe I've seen you at lunch though."
"Azzo Crowley. Thats a very interesting name. I like it. Its so unique," she said as she shook his hand. She wondered if he was as unique as his name, but she doubted it.
She stepped back her eyes twinkling slightly, "Do you like the song Fireflies? The one I was singing."

He paused, "I've only heard her sing once. She was good though." He gave a soft nod. "Though she kinda tripped shortly after I could actually hear her singing."
He gave a soft nod, "Yeah, well hopefully. I think they're still trying to figure out what to do. Though I mean I grabbed every class that I needed for Graduation." He looked a bit worried at the fact he might be held back.
He paused and smiled, "Thanks, my parents are a bit weird sometimes, but they do have the occasional stroke of genius." He gave a mental scoff though the smile didn't really falter, Like not believing grams.
He seemed to think for a second, "I do, at least, from you singing it. I don't think I've actually heard that one on the radio, yet."

Lily gave a small giggle," well singing does not necessarily equate grace or vice versa. I am lucky fore I've had dance lessons and I am use to others hearing me sing. Not to mention my sister likes to perform, so I"
Lily felt more relaxed, "If you've gotten every class you needed and you have done a decent job at them then I doubt you have anything to worry about. So an early congratulations on your upcoming graduation."
Lily grinned as Azzo smiled talking about his parents. She was trying not laugh at his comment, but it was too funny and her giggles escaped. "My mother like to garden, so I'm a lily, my sister is a rose, and my brother is the circle flower alexander. I've seen the flower and that is more of a nickname for it. I think my father did not want his son named after a flower."
Lily smiled brightly hearing that he like the song, although he had not actually heard it before. "Well, would you like to hear more or it. I could sing it for you. Maybe let you have a listen on my Ipod another time, I've forgotten it today."

Azzo nodded, "Eh well there was a branch in her way. She was just lucky I was there to catch her." He looked over the park, "Occasionally they fall down on their job it seems."
He nodded, "Hopefully, if they don't come up with a class or two I missed." He gave a half smile, "But thanks."
He only smiled because it was the more polite thing to do. Had it been another guy he'd waved his parents off like the trash they were. At least to him, "Hum, circle flower Alexander? I don't think I've seen that flower. It sounds pretty though." He said with a stout nod and shook his head. "He should at least be thankful its Alexander he can say his son was named after Alexander the Great. Or some such person like that."
He nodded, "You can sing it if you like." He paused someone else with technology. He sighed, "I should really invest in a computer, phone and Ipod." He chuckled, "Gram's is old fashioned, we've lived that way for years."

Lily nodded," Yes she was very lucky indeed then. It not very enjoyable to land hard on the ground. I should know I ice skate and it involves many falls even as you progress in learning."
Lily shook her head slightly at his worried expression about his graduation. She offered an encouraging smile hoping keep the worry from him mind and was glad for the change in conversation.
"It's Xander, actually and my brother doesn't mind being named after the flower. Its a nice looking flower and not to feminine. I like it. He just excepts being named after a flower and is grateful his name isn't Narcissus. It would be rather unfortunate if it was."
Lily smiled when he said she could sing and shook her head gently at his statement about being old fashioned. "I don't mind old fashioned, it more modest. I really love old fashion style clothing. Give me a record player or a jukebox over an ipod any day."
Lily laughed stepping back, "Now where was I," she said thinking. After a moment her face lit up as she remembered.
"Right, so here I go," she said with a smile.
"I try to make myself believe, that planet earth turns slowly," she sang happy, free and a bit louder than before. "It hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep cause every thing is never as it seems."
She moved about a bit with music almost in her own world, "Cause I'd get a thousand hugs from ten thousand lightning bugs as they teach me how to dance. A fox trot above my head, a sock hop beneath my bed, a disco ball is just hanging by a thread."
She sang as though no one was watching although she knew Azzo was there.

Azzo nodded, "I would imagine not." He said head tilting, "You ice skate huh? It always looked fun I've just been too much of a wimp."
He chuckled, "Well at least he's cool with it. That's all that matters."
He stood there listening to her, watching as she moved to the music in her head.

Lily sang through the rest of the song feeling exhilarated at the end. She wondered if Azzo like her little performance, but she pushed the thought aside remembering that he had asked about ice-skating.
"I love to ice skate, it really exhilarating and one of the few things I haven't had lessons for. My brother took me when I was younger and I've been going since then. You should really try it. It's great exercise and you would be surprised how quickly you get the hang of it. Can you rollerblade?"
Lily bent down to feel the grass making sure it wasn't wet before taking a seat on the cool prickly blades. She patted the earth beside her motioning for Azzo to sit down.
"Do you like the rest of the song? I'm surprised that I managed not to forget any of the words. That the first time I've song that song all the way through."
Lily leaned back on her hands enjoying the sun shining through the tree tops and sprinkling the ground with dancing lights.

Azzo sat down beside her glad he didn't have on white pants. "I haven't actually tried. I spent most of my time helping my grandfather when he was alive and then grams after he pasted."
He stretched as he laid back in the grass, "I've been occasionally trying things while I finish classes and get ready for either college or a job."
He nodded, "The song was nice." He said with a smile, he didn't know how else to say what it was.
He pondered, "So why aren't you in crystal? You seem talented enough."

Lily nodded bringing her knees up and resting her head on them looking at Azzo. "I sorry," she said gently knowing how it felt to have a grandparent die. She only had one still living. "Maybe, you'll be able to try soon. The ice skating rink is actually just outside the park on the other side. I might go skating later."
She watched Azzo lay back in the grass smiling, "You seems like you very busy. I have a pretty tight schedule myself, with studying, volunteering, and lessons. I always find some free time, otherwise one might go insane."
Lily giggled slightly, "thanks."
She looked up when he asked about her attending Crystal academy. "My parents wanted me to attend Crystal, but I did not think it was the right match for me. It a long story really. My sister attended the school though. Some day I hope to get into an art college, further my singing abilities and maybe become a famous singer. What about you? Do you have any hidden talents?"

Azzo watched her, his head resting on his hands. "Eh it's fine, it was a while ago."
He nodded softly, "Most of the time. But that's cool too, it keeps me form thinking too much. I normally have time to sit back and relax sometimes but I'd rather keep doing things most of the time."
He paused, "Oh, well I'm sure there's a school around here somewhere that'll be what you wanted, I don't know if the college has any good art programs or not."
He paused, "Eh... well my grand father had started teaching me hypnotism. But he passed before he could too far to teach me. I haven't really wanted to learn from anyone else. Though I know it could probably be used in the psychology field."
He yawned, "Though I do puppets and marionettes too."

Lily sighed, "I guess it's understandable to want to keep busy. Sometimes when you are not busy you really have no idea what to do with yourself. I'm very glad I have hobbies that easily occupy my time."
Lily gave a shy smile, "I sure hope so, though my brother believes I can still make my dreams come true, even if I don't find the perfect college. He says just get into a good college and keep working towards your dream. He is truly the best."
Lily leaned forward in interest as Azzo talked about hypnotism. She looked rather crunched up in her current position and it was a bit uncomfortable. She let one of her legs stretch out, but the other remained up her head still lying upon it.
"Have you practiced hypnotism? I'm sure your grandfather would be very proud if you continued to teach yourself and learned it secrets. Maybe even mastering hypnotism."
Lily head rose when he mentioned puppets and marionettes. "Wow really, like on strings and wires or hand puppets. Are you good at? If so, it seems you may be even more talented than I am."
