Type: A dark forest which lives in the shadow of a floating continent.
Inhabitants: Wyrm, Nymph, Fey, Yokai, Spectral, Basilisk, fresh-water sireni.
The forest is always in some kind of shadow, as it is very difficult for any light to get through since it sleeps in the shadow of the floating continent. Versathul is also well known for its peculiar mists, and the plethora of willowisps which appear there. It is also the only road besides the looong mountain pass to get to the tree of the dead, and lutia.
Angel flew mere inches from the ground of the dark forest. She wanted to go out and explore the island that she lived on and found it quite interesting. You met many people and ghostlings when you explored though she had yet to actually meet any. Strom had disappeared earlier and Angel had missed sourly missed her before she disappeared. No one else in the house had know so Angel took to wandering. She'd never been to the dark forest before and she was quite interested in what she'd been seeing. Light from her flaming locks cast off into the darkness but not so much as to not be able to see the dark blue and purple hues of the trees about her.There was a crazy buzz about the forest that sent a chill down her spine. It caused her hair to crack and pop as if it'd been fed by wood. Something was going on in the forest and Angel had a feeling she'd soon find out.
