{{I own Zigana, but her picture is not yet developed}}

Dark orchid eyes gazed over the terrain, at least they would have a source of water, which was always a good thing. Water often attracted other creatures, upon which they could prey. Now the only thing to do was to secure the perimeter and defend their new home against any outside threats as well as inside. She doubted there would be any inside threats, but events could always change that optimistic outlook she had developed as of late. With a flick of her tail, she lifted her head and parted her jowls and howled. She had scented at least one not so very far away. The scent was somewhat familiar, but she'd smelled a lot of things so the howl was a welcome as well as a warning, just in case.

She cast her gaze to the skyline, dusk had arrived and so they should have been near by now. There was a few wispy gray clouds, though they did not appear heavy enough to carry any precipitation. Just a few clouds drifting across the crescent moon. She kept her ears open and her eyes as well, her body tensing as she waited for whomever was going to show up at that particular moment.

The seemingly timid dark wolf with the red markings trotted into the clearing. What he saw was strange to him, quite unusual. It appeared to be a tree and yet was not a tree. It smelled like a tree, but dead in a way and in a shape he could not recall ever having seen before. To the right of it, stood another black wolf, but this one only had yellow gold markings upon her and something purple worn around her neck area. His tail wagged for a moment, glad to see that she was there. He wasn't sure she'd have made it from the journey as she'd told him before that she had to tell her family farewell. He didn't know everything about her, but her life he believed to probably have been quite interesting.

He turned his head around, to gaze behind him, wondering where the burgundy wolf, Taavi, had gotten to. Maybe he was ahead instead of behind, or they had lost one another. There had been four of them all together, coming in this direction, but it had been a bit of a distance from where they had met beneath a Willow Tree. In fact he was panting from the long sprinting run just to try and arrive as close as possible to be on time by the shadows cast by the moonlit night, even if it was only a small portion of the moon itself.

Taavi arrived at the clearning, not too long after his black and red companion. The burgundy wolf had taken a few moments to catch his breath before he had continued on. It seemed that his companion had been in a rather large hurry to meet with their Alpha. Slowly, he came to a stop beside Qualteqa and stood before Zigana.

The burgundy wolf had fond memories of Zigana from his childhood. They weren't many, but they were friendly. Taavi had always considered her a friend and had been quite happy when she had offered to take him into her pack. He might not be as musically inclined as she, but he was good for his strength and was willing to risk life and limb to protect her. He sat then, waiting in silence for her to speak. Taavi had never joined a pack before and was still a little unsure of how the process was supposed to work.

She nearly did not hear a sound, but soon she felt beneath her feet the gentle moving of the tiny pebbles as others came upon the clearing. It was not yet completely dark, though there were clouds moving in over the sky as night fully fell upon the land. It was to her, quite a beautiful night, especially when she caught sight of Qaletaqa. He often did not speak, and when he did it was difficult to understand his speech. However she knew him to be have a wealth of intelligence despite his difficulty in pronouncing most words. She gave a bob of her head to him in greeting. "It is good to see you again Qaletaqa. Are the others with you?"

Qaletaqa looked behind him, for he was certain at least Taavi had kept up with his movements. Qaletaqa was often quick in comparison to others or at least for a longer time. It came he believed from constantly moving about, never usually staying in one place, out of necessity.

Zigana's purple irises darted in the direction of Qaletaqa's pale pink gaze. Ah, there was one other she now saw. Taavi, she thought as her eyes smiled with remembrance. The little pack that followed the migrating humans about had passed him once when he was a pup. It had always been sad to part from new friends, her family and the pack never staying in one place for to many days or weeks. Now perhaps they had a chance to be in a stable pack together. Zigana had also meet Qaletaqa on those trails as well. She valued him as some had not, though he did not seem to wish to rise above a lowly position. She did not fully know what in his past caused him to be quite so... she wasn't sure what the word she was looking for was at all.

She gave a bow of her head to the burgundy wolf in greeting as she had Qaletaqa. "Hello Taavi, I am glad that you have decided to come here, if only to see whether or not I will be a worthy leader you would be proud to follow."
