This was a great day to go exploring. The sun was bright on the savannah lighting up everything in a spectacular display of yellows and oranges. This would be the day of her greatest adventure yet. Ahadi was sure of that. Bounding across the grasses her eyes and ears were alert to any and all things of possible interest.
Being small did have it's disadvantages thought. When the grass was higher she would need to jump to see. And this was one of those times. Luckily for her Ahadi found a rock not far away and with a big leap landed on top of it, though quite sloppily. Regaining her balance she set about scanning the horizon for something to do.

Haru'sou was looking for an adventure of his own. Slightly older now, his parents weren't as vigilant nor as worried when he slipped out of sight, which he would have felt horribly guilty about, being the good son he was. He was older than a pup, though not by much, but his eyes were now just high enough to crest a good deal of the grasses, and his ears stood like red satellite dishes.
The wild dog wasn't sure just what he would find, but he looked forward to excitement with bright eyes and a tail held high. Haru hummed a simple tune as he trotted across the savannah, making his way to a rock to use it as a vantage point and means to start his day.

With her eyes scanning the area if didn't take long for Ahadi to spot something red off in the distance. Eyes narrowed as she focused on it, head tipped slightly to the side. Oh! It was another wild dog pup. Maybe he would want to have an adventure with her, and hopefully he would be more fun than her brothers were.
Standing up nice and tall, tail wagging happily she watched as the red pup came closer to the rock before calling out to him. "Hey down there!" Her voice held a bit of a laugh in it. "Wanna have some fun?"

Haru heard a little voice ring out, and he jumped, startled. It took him a moment of looking around, scanning before he saw the grey and speckled pup perched above him. She walked closer, and he straightened himself up, trying to look presentable as his parents had taught him. He smiled politely at the pup, and his tail wagged at the proposal of play.
A larger grin stretched his face, and he assumed the position of play- forepaws down, hind quarters up, tail waving quickly, and a hopeful look on his face. "I'd love to!" He batted a paw in the dirt before stretching and straightening, his tail still wagging just as fast. But manners were in order, too! He remembered to bob his head, and introduce himself. "Hi! I'm Haru'sou. But you can call me Haru, my family does."
