I'm surprised this guild has that many. Most are just people who are looking for controversy if you ask me. They just want to see what we talk about, and to see if we badmouth other races. If we did, they'd be posting hateful things and defending themselves. Since we don't, they're sorely disappointed and don't bother posting.
...at least, that's my theory.

heart [...If our guild was listed under "Hidden," then maybe that could be true. But since our guild has a "Private" status, anyone who stops in can see our topics and read our posts, they just can't make a reply unless they join.
Instead, it is my 2-month experience that a lot of (maybe even most) people join "because this is a 'black pride guild' and I am black." At least that's why most people join at first. Then, if they read or post at all, they tend to get away from that "because I'm black" crap. I'd say that maybe one third of the threads here are not race-specific because after a few non-black people joined, I thought it over-bearing to have only threads talking about issues relavant to "only" black folks.
It's my hope that more people join for the discussion instead of putting "because I'm black" or "because I'm discriminated against" in the "reason for joining" field. No offense whatsoever to those who actually did put that down as a reason for wanting to join; if you're reading this, then apparently you're one of those members I love who decided to be active, not "because you're black," but because you have an interest and an opinion. 3nodding ]
