Background: Kyuzo was infected with the homunculus gene while he was in the womb of his mother. He became infected after his mother was attacked by a humanoid homunculus and a animal homunculus and left for died. She manged to live long enough to give birth to Kyuzo, then immediately died on the operating table. He grew up on his own having to fend for himself before even meeting another homunculus, but was forced to fight it because it wanted to eat him. After that fight he continued on his lift, realizing that he had super human ability and used them to make a name for himself, in sports such as track and fighting after and during school. Once he reached High school he decided on traveling out to what from first glance seemed like a harmless city, but upon arrive realized that it wasn't harmless at all. Within the first three weeks of his arrival, he was attacked by a homunculus because he refused to follow to the "leaders" quarters. An only two days later was attacked by an alchemist in which he was unable to kill but managed to take his kakugane, kakugane number ninety-one.
