Hey everyone, i just wanted to ask everyone's opinion on the entrance fee to this guild. It has been set to 100 since the guild has started, and I am happy to say that we are one of the top gaming guilds on gaia (WOOT!). Well anyway, I noticed today that every guild above us has a free entrance. I have received a few PM's from people saying how they would like to join, but do not want to pay the entrance fee. I was wondering if I should lower the fee, or get rid of it all together.
Did it effect ur decision much to join this guild?
Another thing I was thinking was that our guild has already raised a LARGE amount of gold (I plan on rewarding this soon with a giveaway), so losing future funds to entrance fees does not seem like that much of a problem.

Well the entree fee didn't seem to be a lot to me so I went ahead and joined. 100 gold really isn't that much anyway. But if you have enough gold you might as well lower the fee.

I do not think asking someone to pay 100g to join the guild is a lot. I didn't mind paying that, as a lot of other members didn't mind. If it was something like... 250, or 500, yeah.. I could see what they mean.
And I'm not saying that they shouldn't be members, because they don't want to pay the fee. (If they think that, I can always pay the fee sweatdrop )
It not that had to make 100g on gaia though, surfing, voting in polls, posting etc. ^^;

i joined the guild in my first few days on gaia and the fee didnt fase me ^_^
i'd say keep it! its only 100g, not like you asking much smile
