So I've decided to start making a personal journal on key events, and other significant news that shines in my path. One of the things I do in the morning is check Google news and Reuters. I'm always up to date and love to obtain any new information I can get about current events!

Something of major significance happened today in Washington's District of Columbia (D.C); Same sex marriage has been legally recognized, and will now practice same sex marriage licensing. After reading this, and hearing of the tears draining down the future husbands and wives, it sprouted my current fight for LGBT rights in America, into a sort of growth, now knowing that the fight for LGBT rights is happening, in our times, and is making me proud of my country.

This day is mostly significant because, to me, marriage (whether it be cherish-able or not) is a definable American dream. Nearly everyone, either child or adult, has considered marriage. People change their views and some wish to not marry at all, but as it is a civil right to America, it deserves to be open to all couples, and I advocate this strongly. I can't imagine going to get a marriage license and be whole heartily denied for my sexuality status. Yeah I could get a "civil union-ship" in "some" parts of America, none of those union-ship practices offer full marriage benefits and rights, imperfect-ed, and prejudice in all matter.

It may have history with the OH HOLY CHURCH OF GOD, as well as other religions, but those traditions shall cease to perish with modernization, evolution, and progressiveness. One day it will move from marriage as a only church ceremony, but marriage will NOT be in legal documents, perhaps all marriages will be legally defined as civil union-ships, and not marriages but only in the churches themselves. The church has no right to infringe their beliefs into common Morales and dreams. Religion stops civilization from growing as is, especially towards science, and in my opinion is not right. Faith is a path to live a certain life, or to be less scared of death, or the way you feel the world was created (even though scientists have significant evidence to say other-ways). You can have your beliefs, but they should not have majority over minority. The church is not Americas savior, and it is not its leader. As long as America has freedom of religion, ******** church authority.

I nearly teared myself looking at the pictures of the couples getting married, once celebrated here in California, but repealed due to religious bigots. One day all shall have marriage benefits, and it shall only be one word, not two, their shall be no difference, or it is prejudice.

Reminder : You may not post in this forum, you may read, that is all. I need the room, if you wish to respond to this entry, do so through PM or comment. I'd love to here your feedback! Also consider that this is my own expressive viewpoints, or matters of my own. These are not words of anyones elses but my own, written by me, to show to you, and whether you read it or not it shall always be my opinion. If you do not agree I'm fine with that, I shall not attack you, but if the audience is attacked through a specific entry, it is not through the individual, but the group.

Thank you for reading!
