Quite simply, this is the estate formerly owned by Ryu's adopted parents. It is several miles away from Nanjing, far away from the forest. The only rule about posting here, is that your character must have a REASON for being here. If not, then you shouldn't even know of its existance. Please follow to ensure continuity!

A young boy sat alone on his bed, the moonlight shining through his open window, casting its light upon the room's sole occupant.
He sighed, shutting his cyan eyes once again. Why couldn't he get to sleep? He was anxious. Like he wasn't supposed to miss something....which he would if he slept...

Every limb ached as she flew through the night sky. She had been flying for what seemed like endless days with little rest.
She had to find him soon, he had to be close.
Up ahead, a square light shone from the darkness. She squinted her eyes in focus and willed her chilled and tired body to continue on, hoping to at least find shelter to rest.
She alighted to the window sill, the amber glow coming from beyond the glass soothed her a measure as she placed her hands on the warm wood ledge.
She breathed a sigh of exhaustion as she peered into the room beyond the window.

((Erm.....the window's open.))
"What the...." My eyes must be playing tricks on me.... the boy thought to himself, rubbing his eyes. Dispite this clearly unreasonable thought, the boy found himself rising from his bed, his bare feet shuffeling along the ground as he yawned tiredly....till he approached the window. Was that.....
"A fairy...?" he said, nearly in disbelief. All of a sudden, the boy felt very warm.....

((sorry, I'll try to retain what is posted as I go, sorry, bad habit... sweatdrop )) She heard a low voice, deep, but not a man's voice.
She ducked away from the open window, her heart fluttering as she pressed herself against the edge of the window sill and out of sight.
"Oh shoot..." she mumbled.

"W...wait!" The boy responded, before a heartfelt sigh escaped his lips. Was it a tiredness-induced illusion? No....he knew what he saw! But.......
"I won't hurt you.." He said soothingly, taking a step closer.

...and I can find one for you if you'd like, I have an awesome site I get mine from)) She cringed a bit as she heard the voice again, too scared to be seen, but too curious not to flee and fly away. She turned back to the window's opening, putting her hands on the wood and then peered around the edge. "Promise?" she asked in a tiny voice.

The boy gasped. She WAS real!
"Of course!" He said, a mixture of warmth and exitement in his voice. "What could I possibly gain from hurting you? Do....you want to come in?" He asked nervously, stepping back a few steps, unnessicarilly, to allow her entry.

She hesitated a moment, looking up to the barely visible by moonlit, face.
"Are you sure it's ok...." she started, "wait, you can see me?" she said as she stepped into full view, her face bewildered and perplexed, all fear from her manner gone.
Why had this not occurred to her the moment he had called out?
Could it be...?

"Um...yes?" The boy said, blinking in surprise. The fairy's wings were all sparkly. How could he NOT see her?
"Is....that unusual?" He asked, confusement in his eyes.....Wow.....she was really preaty.....and very alluring....
((Nah. The standerd ones are so much more convienent. ^^))

She simply could not contain herself, tired and sore or not, she had to see this person's face. She hopped up lightly, but did not land back on her feet, instead she gradually got closer to where the voice was coming from.
"I-I still can't see you. Oh wait..." she quickly closed her eyes and cupped her hands. She began to chant a few words in her native tongue as a bright speck of green light quickly illuminated her palms.
She opened her eyes and pushed the light towards the voice and waited in anticipation to see whom she was talking to, she blinked nervously against the dark.
She seemed to stoop a bit as she looked where the light shone and straightened up as she saw a thin, but tall and handsome young man standing in front of her with big eyes and an eager expression.
"Hello." she said shyly.

The boy blushed a light pink color as she spoke to him, although averting his eyes proved impossible against her captivaiting beauty. "H...hi..." He responded. The fairy may have been speaking shyly. But the boy WAS shy. He'd always been. And probably would continue to be. Naturally, meeting new people was always a challenge for him.

Exhaustion finally took it's toll as she had used a lot of what was left of her energy to created the small light. She wavered a bit and her form seemed to slump as the light grew dim.
"I'm so tired." she said absent mindedly.
Her wings fluttered softly, almost too slow to hold her weight in the air as she floated and sat back down on the sill with her head down, arms bracing the sill holding herself up.
"I have to rest..." she said, her speak almost slurred, her eyes drooping sleepily.

"You.....could stay here?" The boy suggested, hints of nervousness still prevailent in his voice.
Gingerly, he knelt down, scooping the tiny little fairy into his hands. There it is.....that warm feeling again......
"How does that sound?" He asked, unaware that a spot on his chest had begun glowing a bright blue color, right over his heart.....

She didn't argue or struggle as his warm hands scooped her up and held her. All she could do was nod, as she leaned against his thumb and began to doze off.
She finally closed her eyes and drifted to sleep.
Her wings curled about her gracefully, as her body began to glow a soft green shimmer across her pale skin.

Ryu smiled, his wearyness combined with this odd warmth robbing him of the ability to process such realizations as these lights don't LOOK like their sleepy eye caused.....
He carried the fairy back to his bed, laying down on it, and placing the little green fairy on his chest, directly into the glowing light, bathing her in it.
The light danced accross her skin, quickly enveloping her as if it had been waiting a long time to do just that. It covered her, before seeping through her skin....
