Cinaed sighed as he lounged outside the guild, leaning against the doorway. He'd been in a hurry to get out of the building - there'd been too many magic users inside, and they'd made him nervous. The guild master especially had tweaked his nerves, but luckily, he'd only seen her from afar, not come face to face with her as he'd been given his assignment. Today, he was to be hunting a giant red eyed dusk wolf, and it sounded like a jolly good time. He was also to have a partner in this endeavor, and he hoped it was another male, and not a magic user. That's who he was waiting for now, his partner - any moment now he - or she, gods forfend - would come out of the guild, and they could finally be on their way.

A young teen female laid sprawled out on a bed in the nearby inn, hand raised above her to look at her nails through her violet tinted glasses. Heaving a sigh as she had been in this town the last few days waiting for the guild to partner her up with someone for the mission to hunt a beast, which they told her time and time again that she would haveto wait awhile before anyone else would dare take up that mission.

Knock, knock...knock

A light rapping came to the door of her room, an Cecilia looked over in a glare as if they dared bother her from her nail gazing. "Ms. Cecilia, a message has come from the Guild office" came the voice from the other end of the door. "Come in.. it's unlocked" the girl stated in a wary tone. The door opened to be a man from the guild office "Ms. they have paired you up with a partner for your mission, if you would please report to the guild to be paired up" The man bowed slightly to the young girl and left shutting the door behind her.

"Well it's about time those idiots paired me with someone..." the girl stated in a bored tone as she huffed and moved to pull herself up from the bed, brushing her hair out as she went about getting ready for her departure to the guild.

-Time Skip-

Cecilia having left the inn walked over towards the guild, but the crowds of people standing blocking the door way, caused the girl to scowl lightly. "Now how shall I ever get inside.." looking around over the people that stood outside the building, one person among the many stood out to her, because even through her tinted glasses the color of his outfit made her cringe and inwardly bletch. She shook her head and adjusted her glasses again, seeing that he was alone, Cecilia took the chance and walked over to him "Sir? might I trouble you for your time?" the girl asked when she came over to Cinaed.

Cinaed, who'd begun polishing his spear by this point, looked up and gave the younger girl a winning smile. Ah, girl. Always coming up to him and asking for his help. She probably had a crush on him, the poor dear. He'd probably be forced to break it to her gently that he only went for girls closer to his own age. He chuckled, then put his spear away, tucking his polishing cloth back into his belt.

He gave the girl a rather gallant bow, and winked at her as he came up. "Of course I can spare a moment for you, young lady." he told her, smiling. "I am Cinaed. What would you ask of me?" Hopefully it wasn't anything that would take too long - he was still waiting for his partner, after all. He didn't want to miss him or her.

"Uh huh.." Cecilia commented blandly to his actions while she pressed her fore finger to her glasses rim to adjust the violet tinted shades. "Aside from all the pleasantries sir, Would you be capable of clearing me a path into the guild so that I may report for my mission?" the young girl asked in a mock pleasant tone if not it still came across as bored, turning towards the crowded door in which she pointed. Upon her back was strapped a short looking metal rod but it barely stuck out over the black leather bag adorned on her back with golden decals. "That is, if it isn't to much for you.."

He blinked, a bit taken aback by her attitude. Well. Maybe she didn't have a crush on him. How very odd. Well then, he thought, he'd just do the favor out of the kindness of his heart. "Of course I can." he told her with a grin, running a hand through his hair. "Leave it to me, young lady. I'll get you into the guild in no time." he bowed again, then started off, striding purposefully towards the crowd in front of the guild.

At first, he tried being polite, giving 'excuse me's and 'pardon me's a try. He sighed when that didn't work; he'd have to be rude. Pulling out his spear, he started to use it and his height and muscle as leverage, shoving his way through the crowd, leaving a path behind him for the girl to follow after.

The girl smiled lightly but it soon faded as her bored look took over again, this girl almost never seemed happy, but she was indeed thankful that he was willing to help her out. Cecilia watched with a small smirk when his pardons didn't work but was extremely impressed by the fact he was willing to use his brawn to push away the people, Once a clear enough path had formed the girl started to follow after him into the building. "Thank you for your help, Mr. Cinaed" she commented politely, ignoring the fact some guy bumped her from behind.

Once into the building and standing in front of the mission desk "I, Cecilia Moore, had received a message stating that my partner was ready for the job to kill the Red Eyed Dusk Wolf." The girl stated in a bland tone, the person behind the desk went over the job list, before pointing to one individual. The girl turned to where the person pointed to.. "You? you are my partner Mr. Cinaed?" this came as a surprise to the girl.

Curious as to what this girl was doing at the guild, he'd followed her in, and low and behold... she was his partner. She was a girl... a kid at that. Sure, he'd fought off monsters at her age, but he could conveniently forget that fact in the face of this terribly distressing situation. Still... no need to make her feel unwanted. He could be polite and make her feel needed, and simply shoulder most of the work. Why not? It would be another good deed done for the gods.

"It would appear so, milady." he told her gallantly, bowing low. "Are you ready to be off, or do you need to get something first?" Like perhaps a sex change, he thought glumly, resisting the urge to sigh. "And might I know your name before we start out?"

It was apparent that this would not be fun for the girl, as she really didn't wish to be partnered with him an by the features Cinaed was expressing, he didn't wish her to be his partner as well. Having a knack for showing no emotion while pointing out others subtle features was a dead give away. She held her fore fingers to her glasses rim in distress while she shook her head slowly, "No.." came a dry reply "I have everything I need and we can set off whenever you are ready" The younger girl turned and headed for the door of the guild "My name? Mr. Cinaed.. it's Cecilia" with that bland tone that was normal for the girl she retreated outside the guild taken a long exaggerated sigh in the process while she waited for him.

As she walked out ahead of him, he looked up into the sky, as if glaring at the gods. Then he remembered that it was not good to call their wrath down upon them, so he sighed and followed after her, toying with his earring with one hand. "Then name is Cinaed." he told her on reaching her, sounding long-suffering. "No mister in front of it." If he were a knight, he'd demand to be called sir... but he wasn't a knight, not yet. So he was just Cinnaed. "Come on then. Let's go." With that, he started out, picking a pace that she, with her shorter legs, would be able to keep up with without jogging.

"Mmm.. so just Cinaed then, alright" Cecilia stated lightly when he reached up to her. A breathless sigh escaped her lips, while she brushed her hair out with her fingers only to have it fall into her glasses again, looking at him as Cinaed started walking before following after him keeping to his leisurely pace. "So what all do you know about this wolf?" Cecilia asked, how should one put it, so dryly that if it were glass it would break, "I mean, aside from the known facts about it" her long sleeves swayed with her pace bringing her hands up to her waist to place one in her pocket while the other attended to her glasses that had the tendency to slip down, in town that day her glasses got bent from something roughly shoved into her so.. they don't fit right. (Not that she needs them to see.. She has a paranoia over bright colors)
