The wind blew happily through the young trees. Rattling some of the young budding branches. Making grass sway and water ripple. Making the land come alive with gentle dance. Rockstar's black mane blew gracefully as he trotted through the open fields, which were slowly clearing themselves of snow. "Come love, we don't want to be late to meet mum and your brothers now do we?" He called out with a happy chuckle. Then suddenly from behind a small shrub a small pink colt jumped out.
Ivory had been playing in between the small trees as he walked behind his father. They were off to meet his mother, Candy hearts, and his two brothers. All three of them had come out of their baskets not long ago and Ivory was very excited to see the faces of his brothers. He nodded at his father and sped up his pace to match his dad's. They only had to climb the last hill and they would be able to see the meeting place; the clearing by the lake shore.

"Come ON Poppins HURRY!" Rockcandy urged " we are almost there!" He knew he was going to see his mom and dad... and hopefully his brothers would be there... Poppins told him they were going to play... and he was ready "POOOOPPINS! HURRY!"
Poppins chuckled and Called to him " Go ahead little one... " she knew how badly he wanted to go... and run... "i will catch up"
RC Bolted over the rise... and saw his brothers down below... he Whinnied loud, Trumpeting his approach for everyone to hear

Candy Heart heard the whinny and beamed, her babies were all going to get together and play for the first time since emerging from their baskets. Her heart swelled with love for her little family. She called Hoshi over and nudged him towards the others.
Hoshi stumbled as his mother nudged him. He wobbled over to his brothers and their caretakers. He bumps against Rockstar's leg. "Heya Poppa!" He beamed at his father, then made his way over to Ivory to wait for Rockcandy and Poppins.

Rock jumped into a trot at the sight of his love and his young child. Nuzzling his carefully and licking his short mane out of his eyes as he rubbed against him. "Hello sweetness! Its great to finally see you!" He beamed, striding over to Candy and presenting her with a loving kiss.
"Its great to see you!"
Ivory smiled at his brother meekly, slightly surprised to see just how much he resembled Rockstar. "Hello Hoshi!" Bumping into him and beaming as well, flicking his small tail as they both watched their final brother running down towards them.

Rc saw his brothers and picked up his speed... suddenly, his feet got all tangled up. Before he knew it... he fell and flipped down the hill... landing at his mothers feet "hi, mom" he said meekly.

Candy smiled at Rock and bent down to help up her youngest whom had landed at her feet. "Are you alright sweet boy? You didn't get hurt did you?" She checked him over, fussing quietly.
Hoshi giggled and high stepped over to RC. "Hey little brother. Tripping over your own feet already?" He grinned and pulled at the little mane of his brother. "C'mon! Let's play!"

Rockstar laughed. "Now don't get into the habit of rolling down hills," he teased, nuzzling his youngest. "Running down them tends to be the safest way."
He watched his three sons standing together and couldn't help but swell with pride. The love he felt for them and for Candy was really unmeasurable.
He looked at Candy with loving eyes and gently caressed her neck. In her ear he whispered a song.

Ivory watched his youngest brother run at them, he was quite fast. In his gut he knew something would happen and - Ivory laughed and sighed as he saw RC fall and roll in a tangled ball down the rest of the hill. He came up to him and looked at him gently. "Are you alright?"
He looked at his father and smiled to his mother.

Rc stood up weakly and laughed... "yeah i'll be alright... i meant to do that" he nodded reaffirming his statement. "and besides... it was really really fun! you should try it guys!!!" he shook the grass from his mane, sprinkling it all over his brothers

Candy blushed at the song whispered in her ear. It was so sweet of Rock to sing a song that was meant for her. She loved when he did that. It always made her feel good.
Hoshi giggled and shook his head. Mom and Dad were bein' all mushy again! Trotting over to his brothers with a grin, he nudged Ivory and hollered "TAG!" Laughing, he took off running away from the other colts.

Rockstar smiled to her when he finished and softly rubbed her around the ears and down to her lips. He loved her so much, He really didn't know what he would do without her.
"You know I love you without end, right?" he whispered as his lips neared her's. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see his oldest son shaking his head at them, he ignored it with a soft laugh.
Ivory followed Hoshi's eyes when he saw him shaking his head. And he regretted he had when he saw his father and mother. He bit his tough and his face burst into a deep blush, he hated seeing them being all lovie. It embarrassed him so much. He quickly turned around and shook his own head. Though he was trying to get rid of what he had seen, rather than to show disapproval.
Suddenly he felt that he was being bumped and he stiffened in suprise. ivory's brother yelled out 'TAG' and caused him to become even more stiff. Oh wait..its just the game! get a grip ivory! he told himself, he was so jumpy when he aught not to be...
"Alright, here I come!" He stated as he began to run after RC.

RC looked behind him to see his brother charging towards him " HEY! IVORY!!!" and with a start RC bolted giggling "nana nana booboo I'll always beat yoooo--!" Rc Tripped again... and this time it really hurt "OWWWWWW! MOOOOM DAAAAD... OWWWWW!"

Candy's eyes widened briefly before fluttering closed as Rockstar got closer. Her blush deepened and just as she was about to lean in she heard RC cry out in pain. Pulling away, eyes snapping open at the same time she darted towards her foal. "Oooh....my poor darling. There there, mom's here now," she cooed into his ear soothingly. "Everything's going to be just fine."
Hoshi looked worried as his little brother wailed in pain. Wincing, he nuzzled his brother's cheek in an attempt to help him remain calm.

Rock rushed over to his son as quickly as his mate did. Only delayed by a heart-shuddering moment from the shock of not feeling the passion he was expecting.
"Hey big guy, does it really hurt that much? Come one, give me a smile. Everything will be alright!"
Rock smiled, eyes sparking their usual spark, as he looked for any scraps and soon to form bruises on his youngest.
ivory ran over as well, worry plaguing his young, innocent features. "I am sorry! Was that me? Oh RC, I am so sorry."
The dramatic screams of his brother making his ears fold back and tail stop flicking in pure guilt.
He looked up when hearing his father and blinked some tears away. Even though his father was a bit odd, and not always there, he was a great father. Ivory wondered how it was his parents always seemed to know what to say in situations like this.
If Ivory was in their place, he would be even more at his witt's end than he was now!.

Rockcandy looked around tears still rolling down his face. "it really really hurts... i think i hit this twig here!" he forgot his leg and kicked the twig causing his leg to twinge in pain again. He sucked in his breath and tried to get up slowly... " I'll walk it off... you guys go play." He faked a smile for his brothers and leaned over to Ivory. He whispered "tag... no tag backs" and giggled as he slowly got up.
