A Miracle That Happened
My mother is a buddhist, and she got fireloid or something and she had to take pills. She saw a mantra and it said, "If you are sick, recite this at LEAST 3 times a day."She stopped taking the pills and read the mantra 3 times before work. A few days after, her fireloid problem perished! She was in great health, and it just poofed away! Do you think this is the work of the mantra? At the same time, she became a vegetarian.

May not be a miracle. May well be just a placebo effect, or simple mind over body work. Far as I'm concerned, she may well have brought it upon herself by simply changing her lifestyle (the vegetarianism and saying the mantra, bringing about concentration) and simply trying to feel better. That can actually be enough for some sick people, believe it or not - I've seen it work in hospital, and it's pretty well medically documented.
Also, what do you mean by fireloids? That's not a medical condition, and in fact, googling it only seems to bring up a story. 3nodding

XD Meditation can have healthy benefits, sure, but I don't believe changing your diet and chanting will cure you of any serious medical condition in "a few days." "Fireloids" just made me laugh. XD
