What's this..?! Another fight..?! Yep. It is. Zenny's planned another fun-filled, combat-ey day. This time, it's taking place around the ole' Koi Pond. After stumbling upon it at random, the boy came to the conclusion he must have a battle in such an oddly peaceful place. The grounds have been cleared for the day's activity.. In fact, there's a badly constructed billboard (made from cardboard and duct tape) at the normal entrance reading (in crayon):
"Welcome To The Koi Pond! Spar Happening Here! No Outside Interference.. Unless Of Course The Short One Is Dying! If This Is Happening, Please.. Interfere!"

Stomping her feet as she huffed and puffed, Eme couldn't help but continually glance at the sliver of paper wrinkled in her tight grip. A letter of challenge worded playfully almost as if it was mocking her... or at least thats how she interpreted it.
"I can't believe people have the gall to still do these things! I'm going to this person a piece of my mind when I see them! They really deserve it!" She scoffed, crumbling the letter and tearing it to shreds. Her frustration seemed displaced as she parted her back behind her ears to clear her vision. She pulled her gloves tightly around her hands, making sure they were snug and fit before taking a moment to breathe and collect herself.
"Going into this pissed off is a bad idea. I don't know who this person is, so I won't know if they're a skilled shinigami or not... but nevertheless, I should underestimate the challenger." She said, overthinking the situation as she tends to do often. She took a deep breath, adjusting her clothes and continued making her way to the Koi pond.
It wasn't long before she made it there.
"Ok, I'm here! Show yourself! I want to get this over with already!" Her reiatsu sparked and flared around her hands, as she tensed up waiting for her opponent.

A short and quick shout soon followed the woman's request, nearly interrupting her last words. "Here!" The child-like voice came from the right side of the woman, a small brown-haired boy in the not-so-far-off distance being the one to greet her. A small smile would have stood on his face, but this lady's aura.. It was off. She seemed angered, or something of that sort. He couldn't help but frown at her disposition, immediately reaching his left hand over his shoulder. His fingers slowly slid onto a light green hilt, the Kodachi being drawn almost immediately. His left hand, upon reaching full grasp of the weapon, fell to his side. The tassel that wrapped diagonally across his chest soon fell after the blade's being drawn. "I'm Henano Zenseiki.. Everyone calls me Zenny, though." His usual cheery disposition was replaced with a slightly alarmed one, hands trembling slightly in contained excitement. This was something not to be taken as a sign of fear.. No, the exact opposite. On this specific day, the boy came ready to roll and then rock if the occasion called for such an act. "I take it your miss Eme..? Sorry if I only know your name, but I was just lookin' around for a new buddy to spar with.. Your name alone was all I tried to learn before sending out my usual letter." The boy giggled to himself for a second, walking forward towards the woman. He'd revealed himself from beside a conveniently placed tree and it was actually quite a distance from where the woman decided to stand. His last few words could almost be considered shouts towards her. That, however, was settled at this point; the distance between the two was a mere seven or so feet. From this distance he could feel and almost see the spiritual energy radiating off her body. She meant business, and common sense told him his calming presence wasn't gonna fix her at this point. He'd have to either let'er warm up to him over time, or face the fact that not everyone loved a cute 5'0" kiddie Shinigami.

As soon as she heard the voice, that of a younger boy, her shikai kicked into high gear and fully activated. The cloth enveloping her body from underneath her clothes, fitting tightly against her like a second skin. A cold chill ran down her spine as she was caught off guard by him being so close without her notice.
"I must be off my game. He shouldn't have got that close without me noticing. Damn hollows made me soft. "She muttered to her self as she listened to the boy talk to her, not fully paying attention. Though she did note the misuse of her name.
"Don't address me like that boy. I don't know you like that. I'm Emily Boelba. Vice..." She sighed as she heard that she had lost her rank.
"...Ex-vice of Sixth Squad. Not exactly your potential superior anymore, but you should still address me with respect, Zenseiki-kun." Getting another glance at him, he did seem fairly younger than herself, by how much she didn't know. She was glad that taller than him, at least eight or nine inches, give or take. She had to issue her dominance in some fashion, she just wasn't sure how.
"Enough with the idle chit chat though. If you can talk, you cay's as well..." She moved slowly, readying her fists in front of her. She didnt know the boy's abilities or if he even had any to begin with, so she assumed it was safe to believe he didn't know about her own powers either. She had to use that to her advantage but not let it be obvious just yet. With a quick hop and a dash, she thrusted her palm forward aiming to strike at the boy's chest.

Without a chance to respond to the woman's comment, Zenny found himself abrasively thrown into the defensive front. He'd reacted with a swift diagonal parry, focusing on having the point nearest the guard struck. The flat end of his weapon was held against the woman's fist, the child applying his own force to attempt and match hers. Sadly, with no momentum of his own, he fell victim to her force. In this state he was forced to parry off of her fist, hoping to cut her in the process. Grimacing lightly, he fell onto his right leg and attempted to move his entire body to the left of hers. This would, usually, cause the blade to cut into the flesh slightly.. "Surely I got'er.. What kinda person attacks so blatantly without fear of being cut or slashed at, even when on the offensive pushing forward..? Even when I do it, I have to double-take on my decision. And even in that case I have a back-up most of the time!" This thought alone startled the boy. She must have had some sort of defense to act so recklessly.. Could it be pride held from her previous position..? Maybe a knack for pain she'd grown accustom to ignoring..? Whatever this would turn out to be would be a surprise to this child. He was, above all, clueless and at a lost for words.. He couldn't even remembered what he wanted to say in response to her somewhat abrasive words from earlier. "I just can't put my finger on it.. Her spiritual pressure's emittin' like crazy.. Her natural reading is far above my own, an' mosta' my friends! She's obviously not lying about that Vice thing.. Tezuka's the only other who's exhibited such a force. He hides his under that lazy exterior b-bu.." Zenny's thoughts drifted even further as he stepped back with a quick reverse-direction dash to recreate a field between the two. He was awaiting the outcome of his parrying blow with anticipation.. Could he possibly have landed the hit..?

He was quick to move, she had to give him that as the boy blocked her attack. She tried to grab hold of his blade but the edge slid against her hand leaving no mark or evidence of laceration. As swiftly as he blocked he had went into a parry to continue to strike her left side. Putting more weight towards the ground, she tensed her body to prepare to endure the blow. His weapon definitely made contact against her arm, but his attack stopped there and went no farther. As soon as he stopped moving, she went in for a counter attempting to bash him with her shoulder, but he avoided it as he moved back.
"C'mon, kid. You need to assess the situation much faster. I'm a new opponent, don't try to attack close range if I am. You don't know what my abilities are... or have you got the gist of it already?" She smirked a little, tapping her stomach a little as if to show how solid it was. You have more than one option than than a straightforward strike... think it out." She said again, disappearing through shunpo as she spoke her last words. She reappeared a few feet before him, using the momentum to propel herself towards him as she wound up to feint a high kick towards his head. She had to bait this kid first, thinking that she should condition by evasions until she knock him in one good blow. She had to just play with him a bit more.

"Hm.. Don't see me judgin' her battle tactics.." Hurt ever so slightly by her comment, he merely responded with a light frown, his eyebrows arching as he tightened whatever was left of his defenses. Thinking for the brief moment she decided to further comment on him, he'd thrown her words to the side and instead focused. A quick, but thorough examination of her person left him overly confused. No cuts. No striking damage. Natah'.. Zip.. Zilch. He'd made contact once or twice on her strange suit amidst there short interaction, and the product was not visible.. No! The product was nonexistent! His damage had been voided..?! Zenny had no time to further address this matter (,and wouldn't know how anyway,) when she came in for an extremely speedy attack assault! The child's natural reaction would be to attempt a parry, but in this case.. She was a bit past his capabilities. Instead of even attempting to project a blockade, he took advantage of his size and proceeded to duck into a crouch. From this position, the lady's kick was quite a distance from his head. It seems her attempt at a high kick may have passed for a mid-level kick against someone of or above her own stature. In Zenny's case, ducking was an overly defensive move, that to most, might even seem cowardly given the advantage he obtained. The boy wasn't one to waste a chance though! He quickly fell to the right within his crouch, flowing over and then onto his shoulder for a swift and stealthy horizontal roll. This effort alone got him a short distance away from the woman, still crouched however as he contemplated what to do as a counter. "No.. Can't do that just yet.. Hm. That'd just annoy her, and.. Gosh!" Grimacing with a look of frustration on his face, the child merely stood and regained a familiar fighting position; left hand holding his Zanpakuto towards the ground, with the right palm open and hovering near his side. It seems Zenny's thinking had brought no success, and only proved to further worsen how he grasped the situation. His last resort would be the use of that crafty 'Art Form' he'd grown so accustom to, and it wasn't time to let that cat outta' the bag. No, Zenny had a lot of assessing to do before he could make a liable tactic, capable of confronting this brick wall of'a foe. For now, he would simply disobey her advice and continue to fight Zanjutsu-dominant!
As if with no fear whatsoever, the boy began a charge for the woman. As he crossed the distance that he himself tried so frivolously to gain, he'd let out a small grunt and proceed with the attacking portion of his lunge. This quick array of swift, one armed, slashes was accompanied by another series of low huffing and growling noises. The one-handed attacking style that produced each strike made each one of them seem as though it were attempting to be heavy, but was merely putting up a front to make itself seem much grittier then it should have been. To be blunt, he wasn't even trying to cut her at this point. He just wanted to secure a hit or two, and go on the offensive angle; it was a sloppy counter at best, but an effective one he'd grown accustom to using against those who could outright own him if given the chance. Previously, when using this style of attacking, he'd come out injured or fatigued from a stubborn will.. Luckily, this one probably wouldn't last till that point. Throughout Zenny's assault, his audible grunts echoed repetitively; "Hyah'.. Yaa! Gree'.. Yuh!" Repeated and rearranged countlessly, the noises were the one visible symbol that he'd gotten into the mood.

As soon as he evaded her feint, she smiled thinking that this boy had took note of her advice. She shifted herself to flip over him until she had a fair amount of space between them, waiting for his next move as she went into her neutral stance. Her smile towards this boy was short lived as he rushed her. She balled her fist, shaping her reiatsu over the front of her fist, letting a sliver of it edge out and sharpen to a point. The length barely longer than a nail but sharp enough to cut. If she had to, she was going to scare this boy into thinking with his head.
She relaxed to prepare for his attack, that which ended up being a flurry of strikes. Forcing herself not to laugh at his excessive grunting. It made him sound like an amateur. A ki-op(sp?) was just supposed to psyche you up for the attack, not make it stronger. With each of his strikes, she waited till the last moment to avoid, to ensure he wouldn't redirect the attacks. She could feel a bit more force behind the blows, but were still able to be avoided if she continued to focus. When each of his strikes flew past, she immediately countered with two fast, but very weak punches, making sure to not physically striking but letting her reiatsu knick his forehead. She kept going with her counters as long as he attacked.
Ah, come on now! Why is he fighting so sloppy? Is he trying to die here?! He has to be throwing me off here... they couldn't allow people like him to be a shinigami...
She was pretty confused at what was going on here. She contemplated on how long it would take him to tire out, because at this rate she wanted to just bring him down in one shot. She remembered her sister telling her that if someone is playing with you like that, its best to just bring them out of their misery. But this boy was a comrade and it would be best not to be reprimanded for killing another shinigami.

After running through the repetitive assault several times over, the boy began to show slight signs of fatigue.. Emily's counters were pretty quick, and his ability to catch on to such an 'In Between' series of actions weren't very developed. Between his strikes he could see the blur of her arm, flinching the first few times her fake attacks happened. Surely, he felt himself being struck by her spiritual pressure alone, and knew he couldn't take that for a very long time. After a total eleven hits hit his forehead he was pretty sure any more would effect his better judgment further on the fight. He'd just have to consider this tactic a loss, and regroup. He did this by aiming a final strike towards her left shoulder, purposely throwing his body off balance so that he may roll to the left of her and recreate distance for the umpteenth time. He landed awkwardly, his head dizzy from the pressure it'd been struck by. Zenny found this battle to be quite the challenge, but also could tell she was in fact just playing with him.. She'd yet to give a lethal attack, while all his were filled with subtle intents of harm. This women either didn't want to hurt him, or was trying to prolong the battle.. Maybe even both. "Hah..Hah.." This huffing was the second sign of his fatigue, his shoulders being the first as they sunk down, then raised.. Then repeated. Zenny wasn't one to hide his disposition, and that may have only helped his opponent decide her next actions: 'Hit'em while he's down!' or 'Don't let'em rest..'.. Something that could prove to be battle-ending. Noticing this, he wearily stood and wobbled for a second or two before shaking his head and tightening the grip his left hand held on the blade. At the moment, it was held diagonally towards the ground, the Zanpakuto's tip being nearest to the earth below. His free hand was held palm open, the fingers pronged and held outward however. The boy let out one big huff, before initiating his next tactical strike.. Within one swift movement, the boy's stance grew into a two-handed sword wielding pose. The right hand, however, began to form its own intent glow and spread it up the length of the blade!? As the two hands met each other, clasping around the hilt.. They both began to combine two lighter and dark tints of yellow!? The yellowish energy shrouding his hands would prove to be a fatal distraction, the sparking energy beginning to spread out past his hand's range. Zenny let out a small 'Henh', and dashed forward to re-close his and his target's gap.
His glowing hands were a very interesting sight, but no distinct sign pointed to what this strange technique was! It resembled kido, but the mixed nature.. It was odd..? The energy types of each distinct tint was the same in appearance, but not in nature.. The boy had made his own kido..? No. He was too naive in power to do that, or anything even close. Instead.. Instead he'd put his intellect to work. "Let's pull out a few tricks from the back'a my mind.. This'll surely stump'er.." The boy had regained a quarter of his confidence, now back into the trend of bringing forth slashes. These, unlike the others, seemed to be aiming for certain locations. The strikes were mainly based on slashing at a shoulder, thigh, or the waist area in general. The glowing blade was obviously something to contemplate.. But also something to fear. No matter how much this boy may have appeared to her as an insignificant not-threat, one couldn't help but show worry for the unknown. He'd conjured a tactic this woman most likely had never seen before.. No. He was sure she'd never come into contact with this! When given something new and undetermined to face.. How would she react accordingly..? Could she really show no fear against the unknown, like she'd done with being struck by his blade mere minutes before..? Only time would tell if she could properly handle the situation.

((My apologies for taking so long to make a post. Circumstances at hand prevented me from having enough time to do so.))
Emily back up a few paces giving the boy some time to properly regain his composure. She wasn't too sure of what to do anymore. She thought it would be best to go easy for him being young but in the back of her mind, her conscience was telling her to practically wreck him to his foundation. The temptation to do so was pretty strong from the start as her thirst for battle was a definite trait she had picked up from her sister a long while ago. As she contemplated on the situation, her gloved hands tightening as all of her muscles tensed up, her reitasu sparking along her body like electricity.
She payed closer attention to the boy now, watching as he rushed back to her. She stood her ground, getting into a stance as she was prepared to launch another counter against him. She took a deep breath, glancing for a moment at the energy her amassed around his hands. She had assume from its color and sparking nature that it was some form of electric based power. She wasn't too sure what the whole deal with that was, but she would have to avoid it all the same. "I'll show you a more serious bout from from here on out..." She said to herself quietly right as he began his flurry of attacks. This time there were more refined.
He's putting a little more thought into the strikes now...
She had to change her strategy a bit. She knew it had something to do with the energy now encompassing the blade, she was sure of it. She didn't completely block the attacks as he struck her, projecting her reiatsu only slightly each time his blade came into contact with her in an attempt to lessen whatever may come with it. The only she'd figure it out is by letting it hit. She couldn't trust the boy to just say what he could do.

It would seem the child's upfront tactical strife was cleared as being successful in doing one thing so far; He'd, though not visibly, muddled her reactions. She chose to counter with dodges, not distance.. Experimenting, before hypothesizing to be more exact. It seemed as though Emily hadn't taken into account what the child's indescribable techniques' basis were, or what they were truly active for. As his slashes brushed her outfit, emitting no blemishes, Zenny couldn't help but smirk before shouting out blindly, a look of suspense on his face as he revealed the true intent of his actions. "Hainawa!" The chant was followed by a parrying wave of the blade, the boy drawing back in a quick fashion. Visibly, before the female Shinigami, a single coiling tendril whipped out from extremely close range. It expand from the length of the blade as it came out in a wide arc; the woman had allowed his odd attack to touch her, and that was sign enough that he could initiate part one of his plan. The rope, at that range, would at least prove to be a temporal annoyance, if not that.. then a suitable distraction. "That'll keep'er busy while I get my little distance and.." Zenny mentally ran and reran the plan in his head, flying backwards with one short-lived leap. Oddly enough, the other end of the Hainawa spell was attached to the boy's hilt, its aura no longer consuming the entire blade; with this action, things became slightly more clear. There were two tints of yellowish energy: One was Hainawa, a basic and easily recognizable Bakudo made unrecognizable by being hidden within another spell with a similar appearance and possibly element; but not nature. This technique was.. "Tzuri Raiden!" A hado spell!? The darker yellowish tint was now revealed to have been a hado! Still active now, the spell took its effect.. This specific technique was capable of sending a trail of electricty through whatever item the user was touching; Henano just happened to be touching a certain Zanpakuto.. that just happened to have a certain Bakudo spell, wrapped firmly around it's hilt and leading directly towards Emily. This was portrayed as a stream of potent and aggressive electricity traveling through a bolt of what looked to be a coil of lightning, the only physical differences being the distinguishing colors between either technique. The hado, trailing through the Bakudo, was noticeably darker then the spell it was coming off of; this didn't make any difference though! Once the effected party was caught tangled within the mass of coiled energy, they wouldn't have any say in what was being siphoned through the coils body. The kid had planned this little trick from the start, now reveling in what he thought would be success. He had to keep the rally going though! This woman was way too skilled, and if she could break his kido chain before an extensionally damage dealing blow could be made then he was as sure as done for! Zenny was sort of nearing the end of the line though.. There were only so many combination, and so much rallying he could afford to before his tiny body required a rest to compensate for his spiritual energy losses.. One more, for now! "Byakurai!" In one final notion, the boy would stab the weapon vertically into the ground, using his right hand to rest upon the flat base of the hilt. The index and middle fingers of his free hand shot up, pointing accusingly at the woman. Whether his tactic from before was successful or not, he was firin' this fricken lazer! The stream of light blue spiritual energy abruptly burst forth from his outstretched fingers, heading directly towards the woman.
(I know there's a lotta 'Actions' going on in this post, but to sum it up: Zenny uses Hainawa, which was one of the stationary spells active on his hands, at close range after touching Emily with his Zanpakuto. This spell was followed by the hado Tzuri Raiden, which was the second spell stationary on his hands. [Two lightning colored/based/shaped kido were toppled atop each other so that neither's spiritual properties were visible; all one could tell was that it was some lightning move. Not that it was either type of spell.] Zenny proceeds to back up, and in a last ditch effort to deal some damage, stabs his blade into the ground and frees up a hand so that he may fire of Byakurai at [,a hopefully trapped,] Emily. That's all.. Pretty much a close ranged this followed by this.)

Ugh, I should of known... She said, scoffing as his bakudou activated, bounding her from the waist up very tight. She didn't have any time to prepare for his next move as she forcibly electrocuted. She gritted her teeth as she wasn't going to scream. Screaming out in pain was a sign of weakness and she knew she had experienced worse situations than this. She was still fighting, and theres always a chance to counter something. As she forced her eyes open to look at her opponent, her moment of opportunity had shown itself.
The boy had stabbed his weapon into the ground. His major mistake was there, and was the perfect chance to foil his plan. A large amount of reiatsu was congregating around her legs, as she bent her knees slightly, looking as if she was going to brace for the Byakurai. As soon as he finished calling out the kidou, her reiatsu exploded in a dim flash as she used her shukuchi at full force backward, jerking his tethered zanpakutou with her, she was sure that alone would leave some damage to his lazed hand. She repeated the shukuchi maneuver several times around him, phasing in and out of visibility, forcing his zanpukutou to change trajectory and velocity over and over around him.
She then reappeared behind him a few yards back, dashing at him, low to the ground. As she grew closer, she pushed against Hainawa breaking free once she applied enough force. She hopped over him, hoping that the momentum of her high speed movements would launch and have the hilt of his blade hit him right in his stomach. His deception into tricking her like that, made her a little impressed and even made her respect him almost. But now it was time to wrap things up.

Thunk! The blunt and adhesive strike plowed deep into the boy's torso area, him not even knowing how it'd occurred. Last he remembered he'd fired off the spell, which had followed his previous success in springing the trap on Ms. Emily! After that, there were dizzying blurs, and then a shaking noise from below. Next thing he knew, the Zanpakuto he was so used to carrying around was lodged into his tummy! "Guh! G-Goin down.." The child managed to sputter those brief words in a barely audible, and shaken tone before falling to his knees. He gasped a few times, looking down at his weapon as it clattered on the ground below.. Between each of his grunts was the slight sound of snoring, coming from his Zanpakuto.. The same snoring he'd heard that one day after a friendly training session with Evie. He smiled halfheartedly, sweating and panting even more as he stumbled to a standing position. His vision was blurry, and his right hand was subconsciously held against his obviously damaged rib. He sputtered a few more inaudible words, before pointing in the direction he thought he'd made out the image of Emily in. With no large remark planned, he simply decided to keep going; I mean why not.. He had nothing to lose! "Shi-.. s**t..Shitotsu.. S-Sansen!" Upon completion of the chant, he suddenly regained a bit of life in his freed left arm. The limb swiftly drew a triangle in midair. A dark, burning, and sludgy buildup of green spiritual energy shrouded his fingers as he drew. Upon completion of the shape, the green translucent covering for the yellow-tinted technique broke. In sync with the shattering, yellow beams shot out at high speed to attempt and strike the women. Groggily, the boy reached down and gripped his weapon in the usual one-armed hold. He ran, as best he could, following the technique in an all out sprint. He was hoping to continue the fight with all the strength he had left.. Even if it were diminishing quickly. "I'm almost spent.. So many kido, rallied and whatnot.. My heads hurting.. So much concentration, and thinking. Fighting hurts! Even when your not hit that much!" The kid thought this all to himself, speaking the truth.. He wasn't completely unaffected by all this. Zenny was mentally fatigued, due to kido's requirements for both high intellect and spiritual potency. So far he'd had to keep up duel spells in inactive states, perform them one after another, then completely change direction, which all lead to perform another! Now, his highest (,and strongest,) spell was coming into play and it alone was enough to bring him a few inches from the hypothetical 'Edge'. The toll following close behind his battle tactics were quite large for such a small kid.. It showed his determination though. Albeit slowly, he would begin to overcome these trivial odds. Till then, he'd have to settle for pushing his limits!
