Randomizing the Field! A large screen towered over the stadium. A spinner with twelve different battle field locations displayed on the screen, waiting to be choosen. One of the trainers jumps to the control room and presses a big green button to start up the spinner. The screenshots of each battlefield light up as they are passed by the spinner. Finally, the light stops on...
ELECTRIC FIELD
The field is completely flat; no bumps or hills can be located. Standing at the four corners and at the exact center of the field on each side are six electrical towers that stand at six feet in height. These create a static discharge across the field and in the air itself for one reason: a metal piping that outlines the edges of the field floats several feet above the towers themselves, held up by the discharge. During the battle, the piping can release lightning at random points on the field due to the amount of buildup them possess. This ensures that your pokemon stay moving during throughout the entire battle.
This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ELECTRIC type attacks.

Alice stepped up to her place on the field. The guys back at the station had heard about her losing streak and she hadn't heard the end of it since. She clenched her fists. If she could just win once, maybe they'd lay off her.
Chewy had taken to staying outside his ball, which was fine for a police pokemon to do. His tail wagged anxiously. His second battle.

Zinnia ran up the steps to her podium and leaned over the edge, eying the electric field. "Huh! Not so good!" Zinnia said to her zubat, who was riding on her shoulder. "Oh well, we'll still win." She flashed a grin and held out her fist; the zubat obligingly flapped over to her hand.
Holding Zyk up, Zinnia called out her usual battle chant:
"Team Rocket, the brave, the strong!
With our pokemon, we can do no wrong!
We are the toughest and the best!
In our battles, we beat the rest!
So heed these words that I say:
Give up now or you shall pay!" "Zuu!" Zyk added at the end. He flapped out and into his position on the field, getting ready. Using his sonar to 'see' his opponents, he realized that the other trainer was an officer. A strangely dressed one at that! But the handcuffs were all the proof he needed. He needed to win this fight to protect Zinnia. He turned his concentration to the pokemon that he would be fighting; a poochyena.

"Chewy I- ...." Alice blinked and mouthed 'rocket', slowly. It dawned on her. "TEAM ROCKET!?" She'd spent absolutely all her time in Zatao so far searching for team rocket, and now one of them just popped right up out of nowhere! "Chewy! All we have to do is beat her and then we can book our first Rocket! Ice fang!"Poochyena's fur stood on end, both out of excitement and the residual electricity in the air. Ever since he'd met Alice, all their time had been spent training for this moment, he wouldn't let her down.
He dashed across the field at his target, his mouth chilled, his fangs ready to deliver chilly defeat to the little bat.800/800 HP

"Whaa? You're a police officer?" Zinnia demanded. What a mistake! But all she had to do was beat the officer's pokemon, and then she could make her escape. "Leech Life!"
Zyk shrieked as cold fangs latched onto him, but he returned the favor by biting down on the dog-like pokemon and began sucking the very life out of him. He hoped that it would work, so he could restore some of his health back.

"Yeah, I'm a cop. You probably shouldn't make a habit of announcing your Team Rocket membership to complete strangers!" Alice chuckled to herself. Maybe if she let the girl get away after the battle she'd lead her back to a base... She'd have to call for backup tho.
"Chewy, detain the bat, ice fang, one more time!" The Poochyena yipped as his opponent's fangs bit down. He shook it off, even tho that spot was going to be sore for a while, and the pooch felt much more tired than he had at the start of the battle. But he had a job to do, and he couldn't let his trainer down.
His fangs froze once more and he lashed out at the little bat.
((Ice is super effective, also :3)) 600/800 HP

((Oh, my bad. Also, you have 650 HP, since super effective only adds 50 damage))
Zyk dodged the next bite. He did not like the cold one bit! He flapped higher up, waiting for Zinnia's command.
"Leech Life again!" Zin commanded. She figured that it would be the best way for them to win, the attack being super effective as well as a way to regain health. She watched as her beloved pokemon dove.

Alice grabbed her hair in frustration. This battle was too important for them to be missing attacks! They were too evenly matched, with the zubat having the advantage. A growl grew in the back of her throat. What would the others say if she let a grunt get away... She'd be demoted, maybe, put on desk duty. She hated desk duty.
"UGH! Chewy, you gotta hit! Ice fang again! Freeze that bat!" Chew growled and barked at the zubat, flailing to and fro trying to get it to stop biting him. He twisted around, teeth bared and ready to catch the other pokemon.500/800 HP

Zyk felt his joints lock up as Chewy managed to grab him. The tiny zubat fell to the ground, frozen solid.
At first, Zinnia was worried; it looked like Zyk would be frozen for a long time. Then she remembered a handy move that the zubat knew.
"Zyk, use Haze!" she called.
A dark mist enveloped the stadium. When it cleared, Zyk was in the air again, cured of his frozen status.

Alice gasped, what she felt was going to win her first battle turned out to have absolutely no effect. That was it. Her strategy. All gone.
"Alright, Chewy, lets see if we can just get lucky. Thunder fang." Alice smiled, good thing his pedigree included an arbok. Chewy looked shocked, like his trainer, but launched his new fang attack.500/800 HP

Zyk squeaked as a newer, hotter attack hit him. Ice and electricity-- two of the things he liked the least! He was getting mad now, but at least he still held the upper hand, so to speak.
"Leech Life again!" Zinnia said, rather uncreatively.
Zyk attempted to bite Chewy back to suck out some life.
