~RP between Kalina, Cocidius and HanGeng, welcoming to the pack's territory.~

Kalina lifted her nose, catching the scent of a packland that seemed to carry strength along it's rank. A home was always something she wanted, she needed a safe place to rest her head at night. When she hunted, she wanted it to be with a powerful pack of wolves that moved together in each paw step. Her heart almost fluttered at the thought.
She took a few steps back to where she had left Cocidius, a slight smile tugging onto her maw as he came fully into view. He was pretty charming, more so than other wolves that she had met through her journey. After all, his help coming through her furr to remove the thornes was more than she expected from any wolf.
"There is a pack in that direction. It smells like quite a strong one, Cocidius." She didn't add her wishes to see who they are or if they were accepting members. He could probably tell by the light in her eyes but she did not wish to offend the other.
It was still some what strange walking amicability besides a female after all the 'horror' stories he has heard from his brothers. But she seemed respectful and indeed very grateful for the aid he had offered her with removing the thorns from her coat. Perhaps this part of the allurement into some form of trap, either way Cocidius was ever watchful and cast his eyes out over his surroundings. The females senses were kine as she informed him of a nearby pack, the scent markers must be old, or else he was losing his touch.
The scent reached his nostrils moments later and he nodded in confirmation to his traveling company and he turned to look at her, noting the light dancing in her eyes. He wasn't sure yet if this was what he truly wanted, to leave his brothers behind and enter into these packlands, but for now he thought to himself it could do no harm to simply see, who knows it could even be a benefit to investigate the pack for any pups, in case he ever did return to the brotherhood, at least they'd be happy to see him with a pup in tow.
He nodded in agreement to the unvoiced wishes of the female and pushed onwards.
Of course, she was quite pleased when Cocidius moved as though they were going to move towards the lands. He was a complicated figure, she never really knew what he was thinking about or why he moved the way he did. It must have been because they had not really talked about feelings much. Males weren't big on that from what she was told.
"Thank you," She stated to his unspoken willingness to allow her to be curious of what was happening on these lands. Her tail wagged slightly, wondering if there would be nice wolves, if they were accepting of her odd coloration.
Cocidius simply walked onwards, he was not a wolf of many words, often coming across as a rather gruff character though once he had gotten to know other a little better and he was in one of his more sociable moods he'd converse very eloquently. These were rare occasions and only usually came about after days of solely his own company, which he usually sort after frequently.
Rarely did he concern himself with the thoughts of others, they either took him as he came or they'd have to find company elsewhere, he did not worry with forming friends with those that always wished him to change his life time of habits, taking his company when he offered it.
This was one of those occasions when he was in a less talkative mood, granted he'd answer questions but he'd not go out of his way to make conversation. The female interested him granted but still he remained quite for now, simply casting his eyes over her every so often.
She felt better having the other at her side, even if he was not the talkative type. Her eyes continued to scan in front of her, wondering what sort of wolf they would come across. Probably not the Alpha unless it was a small pack, normally there were those with positions of monitoring.
It had been many years since she'd last seen a pack, let alone spoke to one. Such a thing was a deep craving -
for her. Packs were nothing but wonderful in her eyes.
She paused, though, just in front of the very edge of the claimed territory and lifted her head slightly to look around. Then her eyes landed on Cocidius. "What do we do?" She asked softly, her voice sounding almost pup-like due to the curiousity that was filling her.
He carried on walking a few paces before noticing Kalina had paused and then her voice carried to him, the innocent filling her voice caused him to turn and stare at her, his eyes searching her own. The female was far more excited about this than he had expected and he was curious as to why. Pushing the forming question aside a moment he answered her. 'A pack should have wolves patrolling the boundaries of the territory and enforcing them, we will simply have to enter the pack lands in a manner which isn't going to to alert them of a threat.'
He looked at her then and smiled trying to reassure her and then turned about and walked calmly forwards. Aisling was behind them, he had informed her early that day that both himself and Kalina were heading towards this pack, having the doe go head first into an area of foreign wolves was not a good idea when they didn't know of the bond between her and himself. Thus he pasted a now dulling scent marker and entered into the pack lands.
He pondered, if the scent marker was weak either the pack had a lot of territory and could not patrol it or simply a wolf was due to come this way within the next day or two to renew it. Cocidius hoped it was the latter to make the situation easier with meeting a pack wolf before entering to deeply into the packs territory and not meeting another wolf.
HanGeng moved through the brush, his head held high. Things were finally starting to turn out well for their pack, having gotten a new Hunter, a Beta female they could trust.. All he needed was for Macha to fully grow and hopefully heal the heart of their alpha. Until then, he had a few things to take care of and could not waste his time playing about as he wanted.
The scent of others near the edge of the territory made his pace quicken slightly, knowing he needed to greet them. He would be polite, of course, for he was nothing but. Haku believed that all greetings needed to be friendly, and only be harsh if their pack was forced into doing such.
The large silver wolf moved to stand a few yards from the two there, staring straight at them. "Hello," He greeted softly, bowing his head slightly in a small greeting towards the two. "These are the Draug Faroth packlands. You are welcome to come closer if you wish."
It seemed somewhat strange how only seconds ago had they crossed the boundaries and informing Kalina of how to act that they should be greeted by a pack wolf. He lowered his eyes and head ever so slightly and smiled slightly to himself before rising his head and taking two large confident though neutral strides towards the other male.
He was a stunning looking male and Cocidius could not help but run his eyes over him though quickly he returned his attentions to the issue at hand and greeted him as courteously as he had them. 'I thank you for your hospitality.' He took another step closer and informed him, 'I am Cocidius and my companion is Kalina.' He turned and looked at Kalina, indicating her to the silver wolf, the gesture brief but informative before focusing back on him.
