"Awlight Anon, 'ere yeh go, gettcherself somefin too, yeah?" The gruff voice told him, patting his shoulder hard enough to make his knees buckle and for a gasp of air to leave his usually silent lips. It had become a nightly ritual; Anon was shoved out of the graveyard three times a night on snack runs, or coffee runs, or even just told to leave for a bit. Apparently, despite being creepy himself, a Graveyard was 'no place for kids' and they occasionally shoved him out for a change of scenery.
He didn't understand, he actually liked being in the graveyard.
But, oh well.
Anon left as he was told, stuffing the money and the paper of requested items into one of his pockets. Silently, the boy looked around, tucking his leather gloved hands into his hoodie pockets and bowing his head a little bit before turning down the street, going to head to the convenience store a little ways away. The guys wanted him out for a bit? Okay, he'd go out; to an out of the way corner store! Maybe if he took his time with this trip, they'd only ask him to go for two more instead of three more.

"Here," Aurora Dawn said as she stuffed a ten dollar bill in Victoria's hands. "Buy yourself something to snack on." She wasn't exactly sure what kids ate these days. It had been a while since she was that age, and her sister Natalia who would be closest in age to Victoria was anything but normal. Then, again Victoria was proving to be anything but normal herself. Victoria nodded her head, curls bouncing, as she looked down at the money. Due to the recent 'argument' between Victoria and her parents Aurora was watching her until things cooled down between them. Aurora didn't know it but she should have considered herself lucky that Victoria didn't included her and the other siblings in the whole mess... However, as far as Victoria was concerned, they weren't her parents and there was some leniency aloud. Aurora went one way and Victoria went another with the agreement that would meet at the register in fifteen minutes. Victoria wasn't exactly sure where to find fruit in a convenience store so she poked her head down each isle and glanced around. "I'm so sorry," she said when she bumped into the cloaked boy. "Entirely my fault I wasn't paying attention." She was unintentionally doing what she normally intentionally did.

Anon hadn't quite been paying attention when the girl with the red curls turned the corner to the aisle he was standing in. No, his shadowed face was unmoving from where it seemed to be staring; it was narly impossible to tell, but his attention was on a couple packs of pringles. His list said pringles, but now that he was here...well...there were so many different kinds! What if he got the wrong one? Ugh, that was a tough choice to make!
The girl bumped into him and the hooded boy startled, dropping a candy bar that he had been holding. Other than that he made no noise whatsoever, but he turned his head towards the girl to make sure she was okay. Between the hat and the hood of his red sweater, only the tip of his nose to his chin was visible, the rest cast in shadows.
When she apologized, the boy raised both of his black leather gloved hands with a shrug, waving them in front of him like he was trying to get her to not apologize. With a tilt of his shadowed head, Anon slid one hand back into his hoodie pocket, the other giving a tentative thumbs up.

Victoria tried to get the best look possible at the person she had 'run into'. There, however, wasn't much to see past the attire. With the thumbs up he gave she went as far as to assume that everything was alright between them.
She smiled brightly as she took a moment to brush her dress free of misplacement and wrinkles. "I'm Victoria," she said as she fluffed her curls and pushed them out of her face.

Anon leaned away from her a bit when she tried to inspect him, bowing his head almost shyly to keep her from seeing too much of his face. As always he allowed the tip of his nose and downwards to show, but that was it. Nobody ever saw his eyes, or his hair...just the tip of his nose, his lips, and the few long stitches that probably ran across his entire face. She introduced herself, and the boy who smelled slightly of formaldehyde seemed at a loss.
He patted himself down, looking for a pen or anything he could use to introduce himself, too. But damnit, he had nothing! His gloved hands fidgeting, he soon lifted one of them, waving a bit before pointing at himself before...doing something rather peculiar. His index finger traced an upside down V in the air, crossing through the invisible lines shortly after. Next he made a little zig zag, then drew a circle, and then another zig zag, hoping she would understand his attempt to write 'ANON' in the air.
Once he was done, he scratched the back of his hooded neck, then offered a little greeting bow.

The smell, and the little bit Victoria could see did not deter her from wanting to know more about Anon. Matter of face it intrigued her and made her want to know more about him. She continued to smile encouragingly.
Victoria easily picked up that he was looking for a pen and that he didn't have it. She didn't have pockets so she knew she didn't have one to offer him.
Just as she was about at a loss she noticed that he was starting to do something with his hands. Guessing it was to tell her his name she payed close attention. She mimicked him with her own hands. As she did so she ran through the letters of the alphabet and their shapes. "A. N. O. N?" She questioned unsure if the zig zags were m's, n's, w's, or z's. She had chosen n's because they seemed more sensible than the other choices.

The silent boy watched the red headed girl mimick him, waiting almost eagerly for her interpretation of what he was trying to say. When she said the letters out loud, the boy nodded enthusiatically...but still managed to keep his face shadowed, for the most part. 'Anonymous' would have been much too difficult to spell in the air; 'Anon' was not only easier, but it seemed to be what everyone else called him. The gruff guys at the grave yard only called him Anonymous when they were mad at him which, due to his general avoidance of them, wasn't often at all.
Patting himself down again, he found his 'grocery list', pointing at himself before pointing at the list. Yup, he was out picking stuff up for the guys, since they weren't fond of wandering around at night. Then, of course, he pointed at Victoria once, then turned the same hand so his palm was face up in a rather curious gesture, trying to figure out what she was doing here. He understood that he too was left alone and that they were about the same age in appearance, but he also knew he was a lot less likely to get a second glance than Victoria was; she was too pretty to be by herself at night!

Victoria's grin widened with each letter she had gotten right. By the time they got through spelling his name she was just as enthusiastic as him. From this brief moment she gathered that he was voiceless. She wasn't sure if she could get an entire conversation correct but she was willing to try.
She watched him pat himself down again. They had already gone over the no paper thing so she was more than a little curious as to what he was looking for now. Up until he pulled out the 'grocery list' she was wondering if he was searching for an aid (other than paper and pencil) to help him communicate.
"List of things for you to buy?" Victoria questioned with a grin. "Lists are great," she said as she watched his next set of gestures. Even if this was a bit harder to follow she was glad they weren't going letter by letter.
"Why am I here?" Before she answered the question she questioned his question to make sure that it was the right question.

Anon nodded in regards to her question about the grocery list, slumping forward like he was sighing. He liked lists, but he got several of them a night...it was sometimes annoying! But it also sometimes helped out a lot, and it made him make new friends! He only ever seemed to run into people when he was out getting groceries.
The odd smelling boy nodded again once she voiced the question he was attempting to pose...but before she could answer him, he startled and held up his finger in a 'one moment' motion, turning and walking briskly away, returning a few moments later with a pen and paper, both obviously brand new from the store itself. Then, the boy made a gesture for her to continue, opening the pack despite not paying for it just yet. The shop keep, who had been watching him, made no move; this had happened before, and the mysterious boy always paid for it. He wasn't worried.

Victoria was about to speak when he held up the finger to indicate one moment. With a nod of her head she watched him head off to retrieve pen and paper. She grinned and at how resourceful he was. It was also nice to know that the man behind the counter trusted him.
"I recently got into an argument with my dad," Victoria only said it because you had to have a beginning to a story- a reason. "So, I am staying with my aunt. She's single and lives above a club... No kids... So... She took me to get a few things. I don't like junk food though. However, I'm going to pick some up just in case I have friends over," she grinned.
She paused there so that Anon could keep up with the conversation. If her new friend had to write a novel on paper just to respond it wouldn't be to good for either of them.

Arguments with a Parent? Staying at an Aunts house? Having Company over? Everything Victoria was doing was an entire list of things Anon had never experienced. He didn't have Parents to argue with or Aunts to stay with, and he didn't have friends TO invite over. Huh. Scratching at his stitched up chin, Anon jotted on the paper before turning it to show the red haired girl.
'too bad. hope you make up. have friends over a lot?'
His writing was quick and a little messy, not wanting her to wait for too long between explanations.

"I've been told, and I tend to believe it to... That everything happens for a reason and it always has a way of working itself out in the end," Victoria said with a positive smile.
"I've met a few people at my uncles cafe and out at a few random places but never really had anyone over... Maybe one day you can stop by the cafe for a visit." From just the few brief moments she'd been around Anon she felt she could trust him. "Or, I could come visit you..." she offered as an afterthought.

Anon tilted his head, considering what she said. Everything happens for a reason? That it works itself out in the end? That was a good way to look at it, and it was pretty true, the more the concept was thought on. The odd smelling child of honestly questionable gender nodded as if deciding something or agreeing with her...then settled in to listen to everything else she had to say.
Visit her? Or...Visit him? That...would be kind of awkward, wouldn't it? Now that she had paused, Anon took this time to jot the responses down on his new pad of paper.
'Sleep during Day. Don't eat. Live in Grave Yard. Sorry...would like to.'
The hooded one gave an apologetic smile, hoping they could find a way around this. It would be nice to make a friend that didn't need chance to meet!

"I usually sleep when ever," Victoria grinned. "And, visiting someone doesn't mean you have to eat to be polite." She knew all about the no eating thing (after all her parents were vampires of some sort).
Everything thus far on his list was manageable. She was bound to make making friends with him work.
She glanced at the graveyard part and giggled nervously. "As long as you don't expect me to roll around in the dirt we'll be just fine," she winked. "And, you are always welcome at my uncles cafe... All types come and go." And, she wasn't exaggerating.
