Orchid grumbled as she made her way to the appointed meeting place. She had wanted to go by herself, or with one other person. And she definitely hadn't wanted Sekani to tag along. He was so hyper all the time, it was annoying. She could only hope that there was a good looking boy or two in the rest of her group. "Would you come ON?" she growled at the novice behind her before quickening her steps to get there faster.
Sekani giggled as he followed Orchid. She was fun to mess with and it was so easy. He just had to be himself. "C'mon Orchid, lighten up. We've got a long way to go, and a big beastie to take care of. Might as well have fun while we can," he said smiling, though he did run to catch up. A few minutes later, they were standing on a small hill just outside of town, waiting for the rest of their group.

Shiji arrived around the same time the pair did but was practicing her being 'invisible' which despite wearing a partially rainbow outfit, she did quite well. A dager sheathed at her waist was the only weapon on her, and she knew how to use it. Shiji had mixed feelings about the job, she was excited because they had some exterminating to do, but upset that she was working with three novices that made her older then them, there fore responsible for making sure they didn't die and she could easily assume that they only had basic training in fighting.
Stepping out of her hiding spot she waved at the pair, "Hey! You two part of the group going to hunt the panther?" She looked them over then turned to Sekani, "No wearing those lights while hunting it makes you an easy target, and I would prefer as few casualties as possible."

Trudging along slowly until he arrived in the mentioned meeting area, once entering town Icas was off like a social butterfly to the first gorgeous person he saw. Talking with a guy that was getting steadily crept out by Icas ran off quickly when giving the chance, Icas never offended he dusted his hair from his eyes before turning back to the task of reaching the assigned area. Coming upon a small gathering of people, Icas was off again this time walking up to Orchid "My dear, you are the most beautiful person I have seen yet to grace this town. I would be absolutely honored if you would grace me with that subtle voice as to tell me your name" Icas cooed lightly, with a slightly bow.

Orchid's weapons were small and mostly concealed. Even though she played the part of a girly girl, she liked fighting up close and personal. She could be vicious if she wanted. Hearing the apprentice call to them, she turned her gaze to Shiji and nodded disinterestedly. She rolled her eyes at Sekani; he wore those damn things everywhere. A voice near her made her jump, just a tiny bit but as she turned to look at Icas, a slow, shy smile spread over her lips. Finally, she thought, someone who appreciates true beauty. "Well, hello there, handsome. My name's Orchid. Who might you be?" She practically purred her words and batted her eyelashes at him prettily, always ready to play the part of a silly girl. How she loved to prove them wrong later.
"Eep!" Sekani hadn't seen Shiji, but then he wasn't supposed to. "Uh huh, that's us!" he answered the rainbow thief brightly when Orchid decided she was too good to answer. "Right! That's what pockets are for!" He grinned at Shiji as he whispered a few words. The glowing sticks adorning him faded until they were no longer glowing. Before his mother had died, she'd enchanted them for his birthday. All he had to do was whisper a short phrase and the lights would come on or turn off as he chose. "Is that better?" he asked. He could hear Orchid preening under Icas's attention and sighed. He knew that was coming. She'd tried the innocent act on Gabriel when she first moved to Klotho's enormous house. He'd just glared at her and moved on. "Right. Should have seen that coming. Anyway, I'm Sekani, but just Kani is fine. That's Orchid." He jerked his head toward the black haired girl as he spoke to Shiji. "Nice to meet you."

Attached at Icas's back was the sword his father lent him for the mission, if he ever got around to meeting his group, but a beauty of beauties always seems to distract Icas's attention from his goal. Watching the female he greeted preen herself made him smile inwardly, dropping down to a knee he held his hand up to take hold of her lightly an placed his other hand upon it "My name, Icas Velstic, but you may simply call me yours, my'dear" he cooed in his pleasant roll of the tongue. Half way glancing to the other people of the group, Icas assumed he may have been in heaven what with all the lovelies that was gathered here. 'A male of glowing beauty and a mysterious rainbooty. As well as the lovely flower, My my.. it's my lucky day' he grinned as the thought filtered into his mind.
Taking a moment before he pulled himself back to stand that Icas turned to Sekani and smiled with the same look that he had first giving to Orchid "Has anyone told you, that you are adorable? and you Miss, absolutely stunning" this time talking to Shiji.. Poor Icas didn't know when to stop..

The apprentice nodded as the lights turned off, "Yes, that will do. Don't turn them on until the beast is killed," She replied, before introducing herself. "My name's Shiji, though if you want you can call me Shi." Turning to look at the flirting couple shew rolled her eyes, yep just about what she expected, though at least Sekani didn't feel the need to join in.
Though when Icas turned to flirt with the her, the rainbow apprentice's hand flew to her weapon, "If you aren't the last member of our hunting group, you'd better get lost. Otherwise state your name and stop the flirting or I'll kill you before the panther gets to, understand?"She hissed angrily. Normally the apprentice was a bit nicer, but this was a dangerous job, and these guys were flirting as if it was a picnic at the park!!

She laughed girlishly as he flirted. "My, what a sweet one you are," she said and called a slight blush to her pale cheeks. When he turned to give the same look he'd given her to the apprentice and even Sekani, her eyes lit with indignation. Well, she was sure she could win him to only her in no time. She smiled, if a little nastily, when Shiji threatened Icas. At least she didn't have a rival in that one. Sekani on the other hand might prove tricky. It wasn't that Orchid couldn't keep her mind on the task she knew lay ahead, she was just very competitive. In everything.
He smiled and nodded; that made sense. If they came across the thing at night, Kani would stick out like a sore thumb with all his lights. He was surprised when Icas turned his flirty demeanor on him. "Uh?" That was new. The unexpected compliment made him blush a little, a natural reaction unlike the one Orchid had. Shiji's threat made him squeak, and he turned back to her and chewed his lower lip. "S-sorry, Shi," he murmured, stealing a glance at Icas.

"Oh a feisty one, I apologize, I was actually looking for a group that was going on to take on that exact same beast." Icas mused in thought over it a moment before sighing "But it seems as if I am unwanted in this group, I shall go and be depressed until someone needs me" He cooed as if not offended or scared at the threat. More used to this kind of reaction then any as she dug for the paper that was giving to him about this job "I am supposed to join a group of 3 other people, two females one of which is a thief the other a novice, and lastly a male that is also a novice. Off to kill a Winged Snow Panther ... Know of any group like that?" Reaching his arm around the glow worm Sekani "When you are done, we shall all go out to dinner, My treat" he grinned to the group, even if this wasn't the one he was supposed to be part of or not.

Icas was only managing to piss the apprentice off worse then she already was, turning to Sekani she gave him a small smile, "It's okay, Kani. At least I know your trying," Looking back at Icas the smile returned to being a glare, "Okay mister, this is obviously that group, you're obviously an idiot, and if you don't stop with the flirting until after the hunt, I slit your throat and use you as a bait for the beast, do you understand?!" And just to make sure he realized how real the threat was she pulled ou her dagger, "Now let go of Kani, and tell your name, otherwise I'll be calling you PantherBait." With her free hand the apprentice reached into her pocket and pulled out the paper that had everything she had been able to find out about the Flying Snow Panther, and her plan to defeat it.

Orchid glared at Sekani, though he couldn't help what Icas did. She just didn't understand why Sekani was so attractive to people, he was nothing but a hyper child. Petulantly crossing her arms over her chest, she stepped a little closer to Shiji, between her and Icas. "Why don't you lighten up? It's not like the four of us can't do this, easy," she said a very confident smirk on her face.
Sekani returned Shiji's smile, but his blush returned full force when Icas slipped an arm around him. He gave a short, nervous laugh as the other male offered dinner for the group when their mission was over. "Uhm, uh, O-Orchid, I d-don't think it'll b-be that easy," he stuttered. Jeez, he hadn't been this thrown off for a long time. He hoped he could get himself under control before they met the beast, or he might get them killed.

"Alright Alright, I shall tone it down for the time being. But dinner will still be on when all is said and done" Icas stated knowing the threat was serious and moved his arm away from Sekani "Well now, Ms. Orchid has had the pleasure of knowing my name, so I shall share with the rest. My name is Icas Velstic, Icas if you will. But you may call me Patherbait if you wish, Im good so long as you call me" Icas smirked, he wasn't trying to flirt at this point, he just couldn't help the way things come out.. otherwise confident in his training that he could handle himself with this beast, but words of the wise from his father was that to protect those that need it. "So, say we do shopping before we leave out or just go Au'Natural?" he asked while looking around the group.

Shiji put her blade away after he moved his arm and introduced himself. "Does anyone need to go shopping? If not, we're going to have a discussion, I'm sure almost all of you think you can easily handle this beast by yourself, but you shouldn't be so cocky, if it was that easy to you really think the people would call for help if it was?" She looked first at Orchird, then Icas, and lastly Sekani, "Alll of you must understand the danger of this mission, if we don't all work together as a team, we could all end up dying. Understood?"

Orchid shook her head. She had all the weapons and things she needed in the black leather pack perched on her back. "I've got everything I could possibly need for this," she said, sounding a little bored. Rolling her eyes at Shiji, she sat on the ground and waited for this 'discussion' the apprentice seemed so keen on having.
Sekani nodded, "Same here." Klotho, knowing that Sekani could be forgetful, had checked his pack before the two left the house. He had one short sword strapped to his side, a dagger on the other, and a smaller one tucked into his boot - all borrowed from Klotho's surprisingly large stash of weapons. He sat a little ways away from Orchid, knowing she had a tendency to lash out and think later. "Ready when you are, Shi," he smiled.

Icas just shrugged "Thinking if you were going to fail this job, most would have never signed up for it. Otherwise, the cockyness just gives people the boost they need to get going. If we were extremely cocky, Im sure most of us would have tried going slowly with the beastie.. So on the previous note. Im good on my supplies" he stated with almost an out of character serious tone and expression as he ran his fingers through his hair carelessly "Besides, I would rather go with a group and watch over my kittens then let them all go astray" flashing a smile to everyone, basically meaning her was all well and good an ready to go, preferring to stand.

"Okay then no shopping needed," casting a quick glare at Icas, she went and sat with the other to with her back to him, so that he was excluded from the group. "There really isn't much to be found out about the panther, it's weakness are unknown, and in fact the only thing that really is known is it's an unsually large snow pather with wings. Considering it is a snow creature, it probably doesn't like fire and if we can disable it's wings it should lose most of it's avantages. I was thinking 1 or 2 people distract it, possibly using the help of flame, while the others disable its wings so it can't fly up, and then kill it. Disable the wings while it's low to the ground, thanks to the distractions so whoever is killing it doesn't fall to thier deaths, alright?"
