A warm sunny day made Lugia creep out of his den. He'd hidden away ever since he'd been attacked by crocodiles trying to hone his 'powers'. He didn't have any, not really, but his father had convinced him he had. He just had to practice them. Now that his leg was healing from his near brush with death and he had a tiny limp.
He skirted the lake and its horrible monsters before escaping further into the lands. He just had to find a place that had plenty of water and none of the large snapping jaws. He didn't realize it but he'd left his pack lands and had gone into the rouge lands. Too young to know when the boundaries started and ended.
He lifted his ears as he found a smaller pond and crept toward it. It didn't look big enough for a large lizard to hide. Sniffing it he watched the surface before settling down to sit. He could work here.

Ahadi was...well she wasn't quite sure where she was. Not paying attention when wandering from ones home could do that. Oh well, she thought, somehow she would find her way home. But while she was out and about she might as well look for something fun to do. She moved slowly as she continued forward, eyes scanned for anything of interest. Something blue caught her attention and she stopped for a moment.
Curious as to what it could be Ahadi continued forward, creeping slowly up to...another pup. Oh fantastic she thought. And she jumped forward, towards the other pup. "Hi there!" Her voice barked at the other as she landed hard not far away from him.

Lugia was busy humming to himself, meditating. He didn't notice the female creep up on him. He was far too busy trying to get the water to do what he willed.
The voice made Lugia jump and backpedal until he tripped over a rock and landed flat on his back. He stared at her, panting, and confused at what was going on. "...uh..." He responded intelligibly. Another pup? He'd never seen her before. Where did she come from?
Trying to regain his pride he rolled himself over and shook off, reclaiming his position. He coughed, "Ah, hello. Can I help you?" He asked his voice aloof and adult like.

Ahadi tilted her head to the side as the pup asked her if she needed help. Why, did she look like she needed help? Well, she just ignored his question, she didn't think he would mind if she didn't answer. "I'm Ahadi." She told his with a smile. Lowering her front end down, butt held high in the air, she took on a playful pose. "Do you want to play?" She really hoped he would play with her, or else she would need to find someone else to play with. And considering he was the first one to run into so far that didn't seem like an ideal situation.

Watching her get into the position his siblings often used his put his ears back. He wasn't one to play. Not really. He kept to himself. Shifting uncomfortably he gazed down at the water then up at her. "I uhm... I guess..." He responded unsure moving to mimic her position. "I'm. Lugia... What are we going to play?"

Ahadi could tell by his posture and hesitation in speaking that he didn't want to play. Well that was kinda disappointing, but they could still have fun without playing right? Somehow that was possible, she told herself. Raising herself back up to a standing position, she glanced out at the water as he did. "If you don't want to play it's okay." Her tone hid the fact that she was disappointed well. "Do you like the water?" She asked him, guessing that he must if he was sitting her and seemed to be preoccupied by it.

He put his ears down and looked to the side. He just wasn't much for playing. "Ah well... I do like water. The salty kind more then the fresh kind but..." He glanced toward her again, "that's because of God of Ocean..."
He puffed his head up proudly. "My father is God of the Lakes! He protects them and can purify them!" He boosted standing up and wagging his tail.

Tilting her head to the side in though as the other pup spoke Ahadi wondered. He said his father was the God of Lakes. But weren't all Gods lions? How could a lion father a wild dog? None of that made any sense at all.
"What's so special about the water?" She asked as she dipped her paw into the pond. It didn't feel special to her. Maybe she wasn't doing this right. "Your father is a God? How does he purify water?" Now she was really curious.

"Wha...? Water is... is very important! We need it to drink and to catch fish...and it rains! And rain makes the plants grow." He tried to explain in a rush.
"Oh well... he steps in it. His paws make the water clean! So that we can drink it without getting sick." He gave a nod as if to confirm it. "My sister can make fish swim up her... I'm still trying to figure out what I do."
