So I will update this in a bit, but seeing as I finally own all three consoles, I think it is time for me to share my thoughts and spark a discussion in this desolate place.
Wii The Wii is still my fanboy console, providing the Mario, Zelda, and Metroid titles that I love. Super Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario Bros., Metroid Prime 3, and Twilight Princess are all among my best games this generation. I am particularly happy with how well some minor motion controls are getting integrated into games. Resident Evil 4 turned out PERFECT on the Wii, and it only used the IR sensor for precision aiming (very effectively). Similar applications appear in Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3.
My only real complaint is that this "new direction" also means fewer big name games at the moment. I would hope that there would be some sort of option to integrate these controls in games like Call of Duty in the future (and not in a port two years later).
Xbox 360 Since mainstream titles like Batman: Arkham Asylum are not out on the Wii, the 360 is kind of my primary console. It has many of the multiplatform titles that I like, as well as the exclusives. I also think that it's a good strategy to release console exclusives, which opens up console gamers to a lot of good games that were previously only available on PC. Last, but not least, Xbox Live is a great service that I would not trade when palying console games online.
Downsides? I've had some games stop reading, and one console RRoD, but otherwise, the 360 has taken care of me.
Playstation 3 Admittedly, I have just gotten this consoles, primarily for God of War 3. I mostly wanted to pick up a few exclusive titles, then use my PS3 as a Blu-Ray player (we'll see how nice the visuals really are when I finally get a movie).
But I do already have a major gripe. All I wanted to do was play some Little Big Planet before I had to go home for break, and it took AN HOUR AND A HALF. This was just downloading updates and installing the game, and it wasn't like I was downloading >1GB worth of DLC, either. Honestly, I hope Sony starts charging for PSN so that they can get some respectable download speeds.
PC Since it has been awhile, I figure that I should add this, too. I found that I love some PC games (Valve in particular), so I finally got a gaming quality PC, and it has become my primary gaming platform, mainly for Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead (2). With lovely Steam sales, I been able to experience a lot more, including Bioshock, which I feels better on PC.
The downside is that I spent a pretty penny on it, and my graphics card is my bottleneck. Fortunately, I did get the PC for running other software that I need as well, so it's not a total waste.

I think you've seem 'em... Core i7 920 6GB DDR3 RAM 9800GT I still need to upgrade that video card, but I am going to wait until Nvidia gets some new chips out. Many of the GTX 2XXs seem to have disappeared off Newegg...

This is a pre-i5 build, about a month or two after the first i7's hit the market. I knew I wanted Intel, but the choice was between the Core i7 and the Core 2 Quad. I think I made the better choice mrgreen
