The Father  Name: Khajag
Likes: Traveling, witnessing Beauty, Helping out, "Family".
Dislikes: Conflict, Getting attention, Swamps.
Background: Khajag lived in the mountains, and only traveled around in the mountains, until his mother passed away. Without his only living relative, he figured that he should venture from his comforts of the mountains to the Soquili lands, where he would truly discover himself.
Personality: Khajag starts off as a bumbling mess of nervousness and shyness. He would rather be hidden in a crowd than stand out of the crowd. Although, it doesn't take much to get him out of his shy exterior to his caring, and considerate interior. He's often generous in her mannerisms. Khajag would want to help anyone in need whether its giving up time to build a home for someone, find them food, or even start a family with them when they could find no other to start a family with them.
He tends to blank out when he's looking at another soquili, especially the stallions. This leads him to over-think things and get stuck in his head, making him look like he's simply staring at the other soquili, or spacing out. The thoughts usually come as certain physical features, or the way colors meld together.. and honestly, he sees the beauty in -everything-. He's happy to dish out compliments, but he feels uncomfortable whenever someone holds him in high regards.  The Mother  Name: Acta Est Fabula
Likes: Cleaning, flowers/nature, spending time with others.
Dislikes: Her own instability, darkness, negative emotions.
Family: Mother - Daniella Father - Tulgey Cat Sister- Praetoria
Background: Acta Est Fabula was the result of the union between a mad stallion and a very damaged mare. The mare was so traumatised at the very thought of things growing inside her that as soon as the two foals were born she fled. Luckily the stallion had kept an eye on the mare throughout the pregnancy, and so he was there to look after them.
Unfortunatly, Acta became separated from her father and sister early on, and so she has had to look after herself for most of her life.
Personality: Acta has inherited some of her father's madness, in that she is quite unstable. She has also inherited her mother's tendency to go from being alright one minute and then flying into an emotional fit the next. It's not as easy anymore to set her off, but the unpredictability will always be with her.
As a mother, she's going to do her very best to look after all her foals, and give them the life that she never had. Even if she fails, it will be despite the fact that she has the very best of intentions. The Siblings

Why do you want this basket?: I'd really like to be involved in a family plot/RP.
What would your future plots be for this basket? Well it's based on the sex of the foal mostly. But some basic things
Female:
An attempt at making friends. A good chance that it jut don't work out for her. She's rather intelligent but others offend assume her silence means she's not all that smart. So she'll have to prove herself. Which is a challenge anyways because of her personal feelings.
Male:
To become a leader. After traveling with his father, he'll find an area of his own to settle in, and he tries to stake claim on his territory. This could also involve mares. But he'll end up being a bit of a brute in that sense.
Will you RP this basket?: Yup~
RP Response: Prompt one
Based on the sex of the basket, I have two different things planned.
If it's a female, then she'd inherit the family 'unstableness" but to a lesser degree. She'll be a bit skittish when her parents want to touch her, or should affection. Thinking they're trying to do something to do. But as a foal she sticks around with her mother. Because her father who is very kind, offers to much affection for her to handle. She's a bit paranoid.
When she becomes an adult, she'd venture from her mother, in search of her father. Hopefully finding him. Still having her personal space issues, she doesn't make to many friends. But has a strange fear of the idea of family herself. Since having a family means having to have another touch her.
Overall she's a thoughtful girl. She thinks through her actions before she acts, and tends to over think everything. She doesn't speak much, and prefers not too. Many around her would probably think she was mute. She'd probably get along well with her extended family, staying out of their way.
If a male~
He will be strong. In all senses. He'll feel the unstable from his mother, in him, but he strives to conquer it. He'd go with his father, basking in the love and attention until he was an adult. From there, he would venture home to hopefully find his mother. Just to check in, and let her know he's good. But he takes more after his father then anyone. He wants to travel, and see everything possible.
He conquers his fear, he's dominant. Almost borderline controlling. He probably wouldn't get along to well with the extended family, because of the 'unstable' nature of them. He's a little unsure about family. But thats only to be expected from the unknown. So when the right mare was to be found, he would charge forward full speed.
Both would obviously change a little based on Family, and encounters. So I'm always open for suggestions.

The basket will be excitable and easily freaked out by anything easily. And they are mostly irrational fears. Like the fear of mud and the fear of the sky falling down. Fear of tree's talking about him/her or that their mane is falling out. Going to be a fun time. But if distracted, they will be actually a great horse to be around, once you get past the freakish fears.
"Watch out, that tree was totally going to fall on you!" -quoth the baby.
"o.o weirdo!" Quoth the stranger.
But in other sense, I want the baby to be really close to mommy. Always looking out for her and making sure nothing happens to her. A real mommies boy/girl. Probably have an almost freakish obsession with being with mommy, where's mommy, can't see mommy, is mommy sleeping or dead. There will be a lot of 'mommy wake up' and 'mommy lets play' and 'mommy whats that?!'. Just another average day in the life of a baby at least. As they grow, they will wean off from constant questions and turns into irrational questions about life and why things smell like they do. (flowers, dirt, squirrels etc).

Why do you want this basket?: I love family RPs, and the story that surrounds these baskets is interesting and I would love to be involved and add my own contribution to the plots/story. Being part of something rather than starting from scratch always helps my creative juices and muses play nice!! =D I also love RPing with new people and making new friends.
What would your future plots be for this basket?: Always up to discuss ideas and to create ones that involve all three baskets/siblings.
I found a friend! After overhearing a conversation about birds eggs they mistake a rock on the floor below a tree as a bird egg and so takes it into their care in order to help it hatch. They play with it, bath with it, and even try to keep it warm -it takes them ages to find out that its only a stone and it embarasses them.Don't laugh! They are very clumpsy and tend to find themself getting into 'situations' where they are laughed at, usually because they end up covered in mud.One great adventure -called life. Although I would like them to have a happy childhood brought up by their parents when they get older the curiousity of the world takes over and they long to travel, but they still feel a guilty twinge about leaving (especially since their mother has tried so hard to give them everything). This is why they travel, but always make sure to return to her and bring her a little something from the latest adventure (berries, flowers etc). This makes them into a great story teller.Why can't I have children? I am thinking that they really want to have children, especially since they see everyone else having them... but for some reason they just can't. This makes those they love leave, and they end up getting their heart broken several times. Eventually they will come to terms with the concept of not having children... and only then may the possiblity of breeding occur, although I think it may be nice to just have them sterile and help bring up their siblings and friends children.Story time! Although they can't have children of their own they love them, and so always tries to tell the foals of others stories and play games like the 'knight and the princess'. Very vivid imagination.I want to FLY!! They where told that anyone could fly if they had wings, so determind to fly they went and collected feathers for two weeks before finding a two-legger who helped them to tie them into the shape of wings on wooden frames. Personality:
As a foal they are curious about everything, and often create stories up to try and explain things (usually very wrong). As a child they found themselves very attached to a rock believing that one day it would become a bird that would be their best friend forever, that however didn't work out quiet as planned... a rock is always a rock after all. They are however very clumpsy and end up covered in mud quite a few times in their youth, generally it doesn't bother them except when they get laughed at by those out of their family. Often finds themself in trouble for 'running off' during their adventures because they become consumed by their own imagination.
As they begin to grow they start to find themselves curious about the rest of the world, and the creatures that live within it. Using the teachings of their parents they avoid skinwalkers and kalonas as they dislike conflict -especially since they still tend to be rather clumpsy. Once they get an idea stuck into their head they will try everything to try and achieve it, for example someone told them they could fly if they made some wings...
Loving their family and longing for one of their own that will never come they tend to spoil those around them. Gifts and food aplenty.
Attitude towards others:
They tend to get on with most soquili, although they can be quiet around those they first meet it doesn't usually take a lot to come out of their shell. They are playful and imaginative and love to play games and act out stories. Ever the foal at heart.
They love their family above anyone else, and can see just how much their mother has tried to 'do right' by them, for this they are forever gratful and try to help out when they can. If she ever has more foals in the future they will help look after them, especially since they can't have foals of their own.
When they discover they can't have children of their own they distance themselves from everyone, until the day they had a chance encounter with someone who loved them without the need of children one day.

What would your future plots be for this basket? Future plots would possibly be along the lines of the foal, dealing with the random emotional fits its mother has, as well as trying to get away from the stifling attentions of its father.

This basket will inherit some of both parents traits, it prefrs to melt in with the crowd, rather than stand out, and will be slightly unstable, but will constantly struggle with keeping that under control.
It will feel a strong need to keep its family together, but also wants the people it cares about to be happy, even it if goes against his instincts.
Generally it is a cheerful soul but will often seek time by itself to contemplate the world around it and will often go into its own little world at these times.
It loves its siblings fiercly and will defend them with its life, more so than its parents, it doesnt fully understand why its parents arent together in the normal way.

Two + Two Equals Window. 8DUsername: Ishtanballa Soquili Name: Female- Jauqie Male-Ioriel Number of Soquili Owned: 1 1/2, Danari and DeirdreWhy do you want this basket?: It would be nice to get my first growing Soq, plus I am always looking to increase the number of RPable pets I have so that I can branch out more in the Soq community. What would your future plots be for this basket? A couple I have at the moment: -Upon reaching adulthood, the child seeks out to learn more about his family and its history -Not used to traveling alone, he/she would seek out a traveling companion. -He/She would look to make many different kinds of interesting Soq during his/her travels. -Wanting to try the herd life, he/she would find a place to perhaps temporarily settles. Depending on how it goes, he/she could stay or go back to wandering. Will you RP this basket?: Yes, yes I would RP Response: Prompt 2a (To make things easier I will assume the basket is a male for this response) Ioriel cast one last glance back at the most recent herd that him and his father had visited, then fell into step behind his father. Sorrow weighed down his steps, his hooves dragging through the grass as he thought of the families they had met. It always saddened when he got to see others enjoying what he could not have. Both a mother and a father, siblings to romp around with, and just the warm welcoming atmosphere that came with being part of a herd. These were the things that made up some of Ioriel's dreams. Resisting glancing back at the herd yet again, Ioriel moved to peer around his father. The young male's ear perked up as he took in the unknown. Curiosity cut through the chains that bound the sorrow to his legs. Each step was filled with a bounce as he moved to trot along beside his father. The images of what he could not have were temporarily washed from his mind by the thrill that came from adventuring into the unknown with his father. From the blades of grass that coated the ground, to the blue sky that hung over head, all filled his young mind with wonder. Despite neither really being anything new to him. All that was truly new, was the area they now walked. Excitement began to fill him to the brim with energy. Unable to contain himself any longer, Ioriel glanced at his father before running ahead. The muscles that made up his small body bunched up briefly, then released and propelled him to the air. Grass was flattened to the ground under hooves as gravity brought him back down to the ground. Ioriel glanced back at his amused father, then stood and waited for older male to catch up. The thrill of adventure was what propelled each step he took in his young life. And it was the one thing his father gave him that no foal who was a part of a herd could ever truly have.

Then I have Coraline, Vezian, Miwa, Lolita Chopper, Alice(who is distantly relative to basketu in the near future if all goes well~), Parlan and cowned with Dixie, AglaiaWhy do you want this basket?: Uhh, it has awesome parents, I love Tulgey Cat and it's gonna have GREEN HAIR :V Duuuuuuh~! What would your future plots be for this basket? I would love it and feed it and brush it's mane eveeeeeery day~ :'D Seriously, I'd like to have Dies be very close to his/her family, all of it. He/she will assume that he/she has a whole bunch of it, too, considering the fact his/her father, whom he/she will stick to will be going through a lot of herds, and s/he might even start calling random Soquili by relative names by mistake. Think 'child of the world'. If it's a girl, she will forever be daddy's girl, sticking with him for all or most of her life, she will also be an 'attention whore'. If he's a boy he'll probably be more mellow and will settle down and lead a nomadic herd in his later life. Whatever the gender, I will go with 'nomadic' for temper. Will you RP this basket?: It would seem fitting, entering a RP contest, yes <3 RP Response: PROMPT 2A (assuming female) Umber eyes nearly as wide as abalone shells, Irae peeked up at her daddy. He seemed pretty busy, since they were about to depart and join another herd, but she had to tell him! She had to tell him that thing and if she didn't do it now her head would explode! Or something... Anyhow, it was a matter of herd security that she tell him. But, basic manners instilled, she held her tongue. Literally. Well, since daddy wasn't listening, she may as well repeat it over and over so she doesn't forget it! Or that was the logic, anyways. And so Didi looked back in her mind's eye, back to her goodbyes with their most recent herd. This one was very diverse, but a great number of Soquili here had wings, and many also had children, her age more or less! They had all had a great time playing, and Dies got so much attention! From everyone! She felt like... Like a princess in those stories the parents sometimes told them! Even more so was her princess-self exposed when the winged colts and fillies gave her some feathers as parting gifts, which Irae naturally stuck in her mane and tail as abundant accessories. They were very pretty. She knew this for a fact because everyone told her so and she looked into the pond just earlier, it being a perfect mirror when companion to the morning sun. How the pond glimmered... And what was it in water that made it reflect stuff, anyways? 'Hm....''Oh!' It appeared Khajag was done with whatever he was doing! Irae could tell this because he didn't wear that face that he wore when he was busy or getting ready for something important. The filly nearly fell flat on her face with the speed at which she accelerated in his direction, crying "daddy, daddy, daddy!" But when she reached him, she simply blinked up at him, realizing that, distracted by other elements of her memory, she'd forgotten that very important thing, that was no doubt not important at all in nature. Well, she had to say something... So, looking up into her father's probably-expectant face, the girl grinned and happily asked, "where are we gonna go now, daddy?" And new excitement of a new very important thing pumped through her veins, because she couldn't wait to play princess - and other things - with a new herd, and more Soquili to adopt into her ever-expanding family! Hey, maybe they'd even come across mommy! And that would make it all worth it. Because hey, she'd definitely come back to this herd, it wasn't like she was losing anything... No, not at all, if anything, she gained family, knowledge and experience from travels with daddy.

1) Getting separated a week or two from his/her family. Either having to survive on own or perhaps being found by another soquili and returned home.
2) Meeting his/her mother's family. Chance meeting alone or with one/both parents.
3) Dealing with mother's outburst. Alone one day with Acta when she has an emotion fit.

The basket is a cheerful, happy-go-lucky sort always ready for an adventure. A bit sure of itself may lead it into trouble. A head strong nature to do things by itself that adult soquili might do.
Khajag is a prefered companion while out trapsing through new lands. Acta Est Fabula causes a chill to go up the spine and is perhaps best left alone. As for extended family.... Daniella is spooky and Tulgey Cat is down right frightening! Would need to meet Praetoria before deciding how to act around her.

Two + Two Equals Window. 8D Username: JetAlmeara Soquili Name: Cymbeline - Girl, Cyrano - boy Number of Soquili Owned: 4, Charulekha, Cheveyo, Jarita, BangilWhy do you want this basket?: This seems to be a very intresting family, I think it would be fun to RP and the parents are two very distinct characters, an unique couple that I think will lead to some intresting interactions. What would your future plots be for this basket? I think this foal will grow up trying to 'take care' of his or her family, he or she will have a strong desire to know them - and seek them out if they are seperated in thier young years. Will you RP this basket?: Of course! RP Response: One// Describe the basket's personality. Would it turn out more like its mother, or like its father? How does it feel about its mother, father, and extended family? ------------------------------------ (Female perspective just for responses sake) In a family full of such...well disbilities might be a nasty way of saying it, but truth was truth and honestly Cymbeline couldn't think of another way to state it - well someone had to be the strong one! The one who glossed things over for father when he stared blankly at someone for too long, someone who wasn't afraid to stand out when it was needed. it wasn't a role Cymberline wanted, not by any shot, but it was one she accepted, one she strove to perfect. She would be the families stength, thier pillar, thier rock and when she grew older? Well she'd find the missing members of her family and take care of them too. Or at least that was the goal, to be honest she didn't know much about them, but they had been a part of making her hadn't they? They couldn't be all that bad.At least that what she told herself and life was all about adventure and gaining knowledge. Cymbeline would take things as they came and figure out a way to deal with them. ----------------------------------------------- OOC Cymberline or Cyrano will have a very strong protective and nurturing streak, he or she will constantly be trying to help her family members cope with the problems that follow them around, she/he will see themeselves as the family strength and dream of finding the 'lost' members of the family someday. He/She admires thier fathers ability to see beauty in everything and tries to emulate it - thought she/he always tends to see just one little flaw that she/he could help to fix.

Why do you want this basket?: It’s a pretty basket and the parents are amazing; I also like the colors of the basket and the red markings on the top of it are pretty awesome.
What would your future plots be for this basket?
• Once it is a foal have it get into lots of trouble with his/her parents or other surrounding Soquili
• Have the foal wander too far from one of its parents and encounter a Soquili that is not so nice to the young foal.
• Find a friend to go on adventures with.
• Depending on gender of basket: Meets a filly/foal with an overly protective father and “rescues” her/him for the day to take her/him on adventures.

Temper: Audacious
Likes: To explore, rescue mares/stallions in distress, voice his/her opinions on a subject
Dislikes: Grumpy Soquili, commands, and being told to “be quiet”
Will refer to the basket as a “he” for a less confusing paragraph containing “It” and “it’s”.
He will have little in common with both his parents’ personalities, although there will be moments when he will act like its mother and go into a emotional state, but that only happens once in a blue moon. The foal inside the basket is definitely not quiet, for he is quite outspoken, which will get him into lots of trouble while he is growing up (with Soquili around him). When the mood takes him, he will act a little like its father, in the case of over thinking situations which would soon become out of control and cause more problems rather than solving them. He cannot help getting into trouble, he has an overactive imagination and it sends him on “Quests” which might mean slaying a few “dragons” (grumpy old Soquili who glare at any one who walks past) by hitting them with a fallen tree branch and rescuing the mares in distress (the grumpy soquili’s daughters who never seem to have fun).
There is a deep love for both his parents (even if he does not know his mother), he understands that his personality is very different than his father, but he tries his hardest to please his father. Whenever the foal inside the basket gets into trouble, he believes that he is doing something that would make his father happy, no matter what the consequences are for his actions. Family is everything to the little foal, everything he does is for them (even if they do not know it at the time).

Why do you want this basket?: First the basket is just cool looking. Second, I'd love to be involved in some sort of family plot since this one seems different.
What would your future plots be for this basket? Hmm, well I think it'd be interesting for it to eventually seek out some of it's extended family. Wooo insane times. Traveling when it gets older, he/she will be restless and not want to stay in a single place. It'll also want to be friends with everyone, EVERYONE. Has children one day, completely clueless as to where they came from.

I see this foal being a wtf where did this kid come from? It's not shy at all and just lovesssss to make friends with anything or anyone. It'll stand there and talk to a rock, it doesn't care. Horrifying soquili, skinwalkers? It'll try to make friends. It isn't really that smart... Oh well. Arlequin eventually develops a type of wanderlust when older and leaves, mild when younger and tends to just wander off. Did I mention talkative? They'll talk your ear off. Innocent in the sense that they don't understand whey things are bad.
Arlequin loves all of it's family, all of it. Thinks they are all perfect in their own way, even the crazies. Though will have a special place for both the siblings.

Why do you want this basket?: because it is part of a very interesting “family” and there are just so many possibilities to develop the character from its beginning. And I would greatly enjoy to have the chance to be involved with family plots as well.
What would your future plots be for this basket? ideas that would be worked out and discussed if I won

The foal was named Liberi Fatali by its unstable mother.
He seemed to be a relatively quiet normal foal, and both parents breathed identical sighs of relief, believing he was free of the taint which was prevalent on his mama’s side of the family. Little did they know that the foal’s mind was fractured, different bits and pieces of his personality which it held conversations with as one would with imaginary friends. They believed that it was just a phase that he would eventually grow out of…
Temper: Cunning (in that he knows about his instability, and will hide it from most, unless it serves a purpose)
Liberi always knew the individual parts of his mind. They were all friends, and far more familiar to him than the rest of his family. He heard a conversation between his parents- one was frightened, did he inherit the instability after all, or was it more innocently a child’s fancies that would go away with time? And realized that there was something different about him, something not quite right that scared and upset the family that loved him. So he learned very early on to hide this part of himself from the rest of the world.
While there was a certain element of fear when dealing with/ meeting members of its extended family, he would feel somewhat closer to the “insane” members of his family than Khajag, though he would look up to and admire his father.

Why do you want this basket?: I've always been a fan of Tulgey Cat, and I think he had some awesome children, and seeing one of his children have kids, makes me think it would be awesome to win this Basket. ^_^
What would your future plots be for this basket? The main idea I have for it, is that it will be very hard to plot with, because it's going to be very indecisive, and have some nerves, which will cause all the things to seem very hard to make decisions, and this will make a big impact of the plots, because it won't know which way to go.

Personality:
Be Slightly like it's mother, which means that it's madness is contained, but still there. This will make it fun when Roleplaying with other people, for they won't expect anything to happen and then it does, and it would be fun to see what happens next. And understanding that she can contain it, it often causes her problems with her other parts of her personality seeing as it will have it's father's over thinking things. When this happens, it will cause bad parts for friendships, because over thinking something too much makes you look like your trying to show you know everything. ( I know this from personal experience. ) And this will cause a strain on friends who try and show they're smarter.
Things that it will have the easiest times doing, is being good with other people, it will be able to talk exceptionally well, but in small cases it will be harder to talk to people, because their personalities might conflict with its, being the part where they can't talk to the person, and it won't try.
With it's madness, it will very good at telling tall tales, seeing as half the stuff it says, can be great entertainment, especially for someone who likes to get to that point of where they get so caught up in their own world, they forget about the real world. It's weakest point would be when it gets to the end, and feels like the story isn't being told to it's fullest point, and it'll want to keep going. Someone will have to be able to tell her when enough is enough.  Tinsel Paxton~!
