(This rp is open to anyone and everyone whom wishes to join)
Fliers had been placed in key locations all through the school and in town. They were a simple pale yellow with a simple yet elegant font printed on it. These fliers read.
'Meta Tea Party
All are welcome to come enjoy a cup of tea, snacks, sandwiches, and good company'
The fliers also listed when and where to meet, the where being near the park's lovely lake, nice scenery for a nice little get together.
Sonnet had been working the past couple of days on this tea party of sorts. From making and placing the fliers to picking out a tea set that was not only nice looking but durable, to baking a different assortment of sweets and assembling several different sandwiches for consumption. Getting everything out here was the most difficult part, but it was now all set up, the food was ready, and the tea was steeping in the pot.
This was a chance to meet some new people with the reopening of the school, and she was looking forward to it.

Like the master escape artist she was, Adeline had slipped away from her mother as soon as the she could manage it and was currently hiding behind the trunk of a tree. To be more accurate, she had assured her mom that she could get to the tea party just fine on her own - and wasn't quite sure if she was going to join it at all. There was a significant sense of dread settled into her stomach that made it difficult for her to get any nearer to the setup. What if someone she knew was there? She wasn't going to remember their face, what would she do then?
She'd already pieced together her immediate reply if that did happen, and it went like this: "I don't know who you are because I got sick." Genius, right? Her eyes squinted at the pretty blonde girl with the tea and food, and her stomach growled.
Within thirty seconds, she was standing timidly just to the side of Sonnet, her hands gripping her skirt and wringing it obsessively. You could hear the jingling of her bracelets colliding as she did it. Without warning, she dropped herself to the ground and made one scoot away from the teenager, eyes huge with apprehension.
"Is it okay if I sit here?
Although it was a little late to ask.

Sorrel glanced at the tiny beginnings of the tea party, then looked back at her mother with wide, expectant eyes. Lunar smiled back at her and nudged her in the direction of the other two girls. "Off you go. Have fun. I'll be right over here." With that encouragement Sorrel returned the grin with a nod and headed off with a spring in her step.
With her bright hair and clothes, it wouldn't have been difficult to see her approaching from across the park. But in seconds Sorrel was passing the last tree before the neat set-up, the same one Adeline had been hiding behind. Speaking of the girl, as soon as Sorrel's eyes fell upon her, they widened in surprise. A girl with snakes in her hair?
Awesome.
Surprise was replaced with a grin. Sorrel hadn't thought she would ever see anything like that. Compelled by the need to see what kind of person she was (and, admittedly, to get a better look at the snakes), the blue-haired girl near skipped over to Adeline and promptly sat herself down next to her, broad grin so in place.
"Hi," she chirped. "I'm Sorrel." Absorbed in her excitement, Sorrel hadn't even said hi to the girl who had set up the thing. Poor Sonnet.

Unluckily, or luckily depending on what she was doing, for Aderyn, Giovanni had run off to have his own little adventure in the park while she was out buying base metals and supplies for new work. The blue-haired boy had spotted someone who had several shiny looking things on her wrists, so he ran off to follow her, wanting to snag one of the shiny objects. Looking around when he had ran into the park, he saw a sign with scribbling on it, though all he could read was 'tea' and 'party'. Walking over to the sign, Giovanni started to pick at whatever was holding it up because it had a slight sparkle to it.
Once he had managed to take the poster down, he toddled off to where he thought the strange girl had went, hiding behind a tree and peering out from behind it to see if he could spot her... and indeed he did!
Giovannis eyes went wide and he got on all fours, trying to keep quiet as he could as he crawled over, trying his best to be stealthy, which wasn't his forte.

Andy had been wandering around the academy for over an hour before she realized wherever Rasiel had hidden, was obviously nowhere to be found. She sighed, giving up on the search to see if Rasiel was okay. She figured he'd go under a rock somewhere to sleep as he healed off what damage she had caused him earlier, but that since he was back to normal, there shouldn't be too many worries on anyone else getting hurt. She was in deep thought as she walked until a CRUNCH sound interrupted her thought process. Looking down, she had stepped on something. "What's this?" she muttered as she bent down to pick it up, it was a piece of paper. Pulling it to her face slowly, her eyebrow began to raise as her eyes scanned the words on the page. "A... tea... party?" she seemed baffled by the idea, not really sure what it was or meant. Her mind tried to piece together the words "tea", something she drank, and "party", something she had never experienced before. As odd as it sounded, it was at least intruiging. Lowering the paper from her face, her eyes caught sight of some people in the distance. It looked like the flyer had been posted not too far away from the place of party itself. Curious to find out what this whole 'tea party' thing was, she decided to walk over.
As she approached the group, she managed to look around and assess that it was a peculiar bunch of people, but not much stranger than she. Except for the snakes. Snakes were something she'd never seen before in real life, let alone being in someone's hair. No. Wait. The snakes were her hair! And with that, Andy blinked in amazement before shaking her head and looking away to look over the other children present. "Uhm.. Hello there. Is this the.. uhh.. 'Tea Party' thing described on this paper?" she asked, holding out the half-crumbled paper. Andy was oblivious to the ettiquette of friends and social whatnot. She would just have to wing it in the next few moments as she would attempt to learn what it is to have a tea party.

Sonnet smiled softly at all the people that were arriving. She was hoping for two, maybe three people to show up, though that couldn't be determined with the sheer amount of food that she had prepared.
"Of course you can sit there," she said to Adeline, unfazed by the snakes in her hair. It was hard to surprise Sonnet these days. "Feel free to help yourself to the food. The tea is almost ready..." Her voice trailed off as she spotted Gio, as he looked like he was attempting to 'sneak' up on the purple skinned girl. She then looked at Adeline again. "And I think you may have someone watching you," she said, nodding her head in a way to suggest that she should look behind her.
Andy was next on her interactions list. "Yes, this is the tea party," she said with a gentle smile. "Please have a seat and help yourself to food. The tea will be ready soon."
Sonnet's eyes then lit up in realization. She hadn't given her name yet.
"Oh, by the way, I'm Sonnet," she said, addressing everyone. "Thank you all for coming, it's nice to meet you all!"

[What do you mean I'm bending the laws of time? I have no idea what you're talking about. >__> ]
Hayden was hungry. Very hungry, but he had no idea where his mommy or his big brother was. And so the small toddler boy was wandering around the campus, in search of either one of his family members or perhaps someone that would get him some food.
At least, that was until he happened to catch sight of the tea party and all of the people gathered around it. Hayden immediately started toward it, without any shyness or awkwardness one might expect from such a small child. He was too hungry for that. Upon reaching the party he simply stood on the sidelines before he spotted Sonnet. She seemed to be about the same age as his brother, and that meant he could get some food in his mind. "Scuse me...!" He hobbled over to her and then stared up at her with round, large lime green eyes. "I c'n have food please? I'm hungry..." He added the tell-tale puffy lip pout as an extra, just in case she was reluctant to give him anything.

Andy was confused at the situation and what was meant to happen here, but she was suggested to sit, as so she did. Moving over to a chair, she sat and looked abour curiously. Though, she was utterly new to the whole thing and her curiosity ran a muck in her mind, her facial expression did quite express the way she'd think. She looked more angry than confused. She didn't seem hostile, just in such utter confusion that she had no idea what was going on. Eyeing the snacks on the table, she grabbed a few and ate them quickly. It had been a while since she ate, so she managed to scarf down a few snacks before she even realized it. Making sure no one was looking, she managed to even stuff a few small treats into one of her pockets for later in case she couldn't get back inside her house later tonight. After her stomach was calmed, she eyed the people about her.

Adeline was feeling the anxiety build every second that passed, but why? She was expecting there to be quite a few people, and maybe a couple of sideways looks - but with more than a few pairs of eyes passing curiosity onto her? It was unnerving. Unfortunately, having started over new, she hadn't been positive about just how unusual she was compared to others. Her snakes had freaked her out, but there were probably others. ...Maybe not.
She was just about to thank Sonnet for the tiny triangle sandwich she held in her hands, when she caught the little nod and her face went blank - the definition of 'huh?' if anyone had ever seen it. Slowly, as if worried that someone was going to jump out at her, she turned to look back toward Gio just as Sorrel leaped beside her. And it was such a pity that the other girl had chosen that very moment to introduce herself, because the change in attention startled the wits out of Adeline. Her snakes shared the thought.
There was a soft chorus of hisses as Adeline whipped her head around to stare at the new girl, her hands at the sides of her face to block the snakes that she could. Her hair didn't pose the danger, however; It was that she had forgotten about her tail. Lightning fast, it struck out from around her back and just barely avoided snapping Sorrel's hand - a graze at best. And yet, the look on the purple girl's face was horrified, like she was waiting to be told her sentence was life in prison. Her mouth remained gaping for a few long seconds before anything ever came out, and even when she did speak, she was still holding her hands up like an idiot.
"Oh! ...I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. Is it okay?"
She was literally so dumbstruck, that her full attention - snakes and all - was turned on the one mishap. Adeline didn't even remember there was another person she was supposed to be watching, that being Gio.

Pausing when he was noticed by Sonnet, the blue haired boy stopped again when the purple skinned girl turned to look at him. Though when she turned back and the snakes moved, his eyes went wide and he stumbled back and landed on his rear with a dull sounding 'thump', which took him a few seconds to recover from.
Blinking a few times, Giovanni slowly got on all fours again, slowly but carefully reaching out for Adeline's wrist with the several bracelets, just wanting one.
Just one... he was so close too!
Just.. a little further...

As the teeth of Adeline's tail-snake grazed the skin of her hand, Sorrel yelped in surprise. Her eyes, which had whipped to the snake, widened as she jerked her hand back. There was a moment where she sat completely still, and it seemed as though she were in shock. Indeed, when she opened her mouth to say something, the only thing that came out was a shaky sob.
"I... I'm..." I'm fine, was what she wanted to say, but her trembling voice wouldn't carry the words. Her chin wobbled and tears started to fill her eyes, which were still trained on Adeline's snakes; for another agonizing couple of seconds the blue-haired girl looked like she was about to burst into tears.
However, luckily for everyone, Giovanni was reaching for Adeline's golden bracelets - and, out of the corner of her eye, Sorrel caught the movement and turned to look. "Hey!" she said in a clear voice, lifting her other hand and pointing at the child behind Adeline to alert the other girl. Despite the fact that her eyes were still watery, she seemed to have forgotten about her encounter with the snakes already. Apparently she had just been scared, not hurt.

A few days or so ago, Onyx was strolling through town while running errands for both her guardian and little brother (Adele needed tags, Lyuben wanted yet another plant to raise), and had picked up a flier while at a garden retailer.
Now, their guardian was on business. Onyx - yet again - was Lyuben's chaperone for the day. Nobody would really know how, for once, the older iridescent girl got the young rose boy, Lyuben, to come with her with little fuss.
Each of the children held something different in their hands. Onyx had a tendency to carry her sketchpad, which was also her journal, from place to place to place. Her other hand, which swung as she walked, held some gel pens and a pencil; these were Onyx's favorite sketching mediums. Lyuben looked like he could use another set of hands to help him; he was carrying a giant bouquet of randomly assorted flowers. It was very likely he did not carry these just because he wanted to. "Onis, dere et?" Lyuben babbled in his typical I'm-learning-to-speak fashion. "Almost, Lou-lou." Compared to her little brother, Onyx hadn't had to do so much work carrying her stuff. Of course, she was also a bit taller than he.
Now, both Lyuben and Onyx had approached the lake, and the setting for the 'tea party.' As they were looking around, they noticed that there were many people here. Lyuben was definitely feeling the effects of the bouquet's weight, and Onyx stuck her writing implements in her hairbow, proceeding to lighten her little brother's load. "Come on, Lou-lou, let's go!" and Onyx was running the rest of the way to the table, with the little boy babbling "Way or me, Onis!" to follow her.

"Are you okay?" Sonnet asked, but the brightly colored demon had moved onto other things, which answered her question enough that she knew she didn't need to worry about it anymore. The two newcomers caught her attention after that, and she waved at them lightly, smiling.
"Hello there, welcome! Please have a seat and sit down; help yourselves to the food, the tea should be ready soon," she said with a nod, looking then to the other small boy that came by himself. "That means you too," she said with a smile before standing to go and check on the tea. The pot was closest to the one girl with the pale skin and black hair. Reminded her of Deskri and Rasiel in a way. Her mind wandered for a few moments wondering on how they were doing, but only for a few moments as she went back to the task at hand.
Sonnet had caught out of the corner of her eye Andy storing a few of the snack items in her pockets, and she desided to ignore it. She made an abundance for a reason. She opened the top of one of the teapots where a puff of steam greeted her. A quick peak inside told her that it was ready.
"Please, if everyone could take a cup from the table and sit down, I will come around to pour the tea. There's honey, sugar, and milk at several places on the table. If you need any help, please let me know," and she then turned to Andy, who was the closest. "Tea?" she offered.

The horror took awhile to fade from Adeline's face, having escalated to the highest when she was positive Sorrel was going to cry. She hadn't even known this girl for thirty seconds, and she had made her cry? What an accomplishment. If she knew she was going to be such an anomaly, she would've stayed home. Frightened, she opened her mouth to apologize again, when Sorrel jumped the gun.
It was the second time she had been directed to look behind her, which struck her as ridiculous because she had completely forgotten about the first warning. Completely. Adeline's gold head whirled around once more, causing her muscles to jerk in a jump of surprise the moment she saw Gio's hand just inches away form her own. It was lucky that she reflexively started away, because her tailsnake didn't look happy for round two of surprises.
Now, she had no idea what Gio wanted - and she realized at this moment that she had never introduced herself to anyone, either - but with a million thoughts swarming in her head like bees, her next sentence came blurted out.
"I'M SORRY. What did I do?"
Adeline was totally serious as she stared, somewhat stupidly, down at the (adorable) little boy behind her. Her hand was braced against the ground, with the bracelets still in clear view. As a last ditch effort to get a grip on the situation, she glanced at Sorrel.
"...Is he yours?"
And beyond all of this, she was aware of a sudden insatiable longing for a cup of tea. ...It wasn't a very good time to start preparing a cup.

"Thanku." Hayden spoke the word quickly and was then immediately off to plunge a small hand into a snack tray. He grabbed a handful and then started to munch on them with a satisfied expression on his face. These snacks were good. Maybe even better than the ones his Momma made, even...
"Wha's tea?" Hayden turned his attention to the drink Sonnet was starting to pass out. Asu was not a tea drinker so he hadn't been introduced to the beverage as of yet. Curious as to what it was, he went ahead and found himself a spot at the table and quickly grabbed a cup. "I wan' some!" Perhaps a little too energetically he waved his cup in the air a little before he set it down again and proceeded to wiggle in his seat excitedly. New things were fun. His big brother was tooootally missing out, wherever he was.
