So far Gordon and Kenseth have had the dominant cars with Johnson, Biffle, Edwards and Stewart not far behind. The caution lights are glitched and two phantom cautions have been the result. McMurray, Montoya, and Kurt Busch are some of the drivers finding the most trouble so far.

Lap 133. Jimmie Johnson has passed Matt Kenseth for second, and is currently chasing down Jeff Gordon for the lead as they come to lap cars.

Lap 144. Matt Kenseth gives up third to come down pit road with a suspected loose wheel on the right side to get 4 tires. The leaders are expected to make pit stops within 15-18 laps.

Lap 170. Pit stops have cycled through without incident. Matt Kenseth is back in third place 6 seconds behind Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. Jeff Gordon continues to lead with Jimmie Johnson in hot persuit. Jeff Burton and Kevin Harvick round out the top 5.

Lap 177. Jeff Gordon continues to dominate leading 155 laps, and leaving only 15 cars on the lead lap. Carl Edwards in the #99 Ford Fusion is the last car on the lead lap after running in the top 5 earlier with teammates Matt Kenseth and Greg Biffle. Biffle is running 9th.

Lap 183. Jeff Burton has been down pit road with an unknown problem. He is currently 1 lap down in 26th place. David Reutimann is the last car on the lead lap in 13th place.

Lap 196. The United States tied the olympic gold medal game vs. Canada 2-2 with 24 seconds left in the third period, causing my brother to exclaim, "********!" followed by a loud thump on the floor upstairs. Jeff Gordon continues to lead.

Lap 228. Caution. Kevin Conway slaps the wall in the #37 Ford Fusion. David Reutiman gets the lucky dog award and is now the last car on the lead lap in 12th place. Matt Kenseth is back on sequence with the leaders.

Lap 233. Green flag. A wack of cars stayed out to get the wave around to get back on the lead lap. Clint Bowyer didn't pit and led them to the flag. Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson immeaditly power by Clint Bowyer and start battling hard for the lead.
