I was thinking that my squad might be able to use abilities that allow us to teleport ourselves and others to any location we've been to,also allowing us to use spiritual sense to teleport to the location of those with spiritual powers. This ability would come in handy for gaining information and reporting back to the others without wasting any time. This ability is limited depending on rank though.
Captain~ Wherever
Lieutenants~ 30 miles
Soldiers~ 10 yards

Hmm. Actually, this resembles flash step/shunpo. I see the differences between them, but it still seems the same, y'know?

What? When did shunpo become a teleportation technique? Shunpo is a god like dash. Shunpo/ Flash "Step". This is pure teleportation by using a universal strand of reiatsu. However, it can't be used as abruptly like shunpo. Its a 35-45 second process. The user in the squad may open a portal of there imagination as long as its not bull. (Like a giant hell gate or a wave of water and etc. Something simple and unique that fits your character ability.) The lower your rank, the longer the process takes.
