Standing alone in the center of the extremely large battle arena, Death looked around at the mass of civilians in the stands who had shown up for this wonderful occasion. The dome was closed and bright lights hung from the spherical ceiling; they illuminated the area so that the chuunin candidates could be more easily evaluated. A gentle echo could be heard from the crowd; thanks to the dome, sounds were amplified. The town would be able to see and hear every part of the first ever Chuunin Exam.

Silence fell upon the people as Death rose his hand as a warning that he was about to speak. At the top of his lungs, he yelled, "Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! Are you ready?!" The crowd roared in anticipation, hardly able to wait for the appearance of the contestants. "Help me in welcoming our first match: Akio Kou versus Kyoma Sakura!" This was the que for both candidates to make their spectacular entrances.

Dang it! Kyoma thought to herself, entering the dome. She ran through the crowd of people, making sure to apologize to the ones who she knocked over. I hope I make it in time.

From where she was, she could see Death standing in the center of the battle arena. She smiled in relief but then saw Akio emerging from some mist and then walking to Death's side. I guess this means I should be there by now.

She ran to the nearest step and stepped on it, putting chakra into her feet and then leaping high into the air, above the many people in the crowd. She reached into her pouch with her right hand and then grabbed a small bag. As she finally reached her peak in the air, she let the light red powder pour out of the bag. She drew out her breath, blowing into the powder and watched as the powder made the appearance of small cherry blossom petals. They slowly drifted from where she was to the bottom of the center of the dome, Kyoma falling in the eye of it. The cherry blossoms seemed to surround her as she continued falling. As her feet finally touched the ground, the cherryblossoms stopped, and then blasted away from her, falling into the crowd and becoming powder once again as it reached the ground.

"It's nice to see you once again, Akio-san!" She said, a small smile on her face.
She turned to Death, giving a nervous chuckle. "I'm not late am I, Death-sama?"

She bowed back to him, "Good luck, Akio-san!" She smiled as she stood straight once again. She looked around the dome at the bleachers and noticed how many people were there. "Wow, almost the whole village is here!" She waved at the crowd in excitement and wondered if anyone else that she knew were among them.

Akio had a broud smile across his face as death made his announcement. As soon as Death disappeared Akio began doing back handsprings, to put some distance between him and Kyoma. After landing the third spring, Akio began making hand signs before saying "Kirigakure no Jutsu." (Hidden mist jutsu) A thick fog began to cover part of the arena, mainly around Akio. Akio, hopeing Kyoma had not moved by the time the mist had taken it's place, drew two shurikan and one kunai, he threw the shurikan first, to his left and right, curving them so they would come at Kyoma from both sides. Akio then threw the kunai, straight forword in Kyoma's direction.

Akio came flying out of the mist, landing in a roll, as the explosive tag exploaded. 'Thank goodness I was able to move at the last second, that was almost a quick finish' Akio thought as he stood up again. 'She's good at dodging, her senses are good also, now, I just need to find her weakness' Akio thought while drawing a kunai into his left hand.

'Clones?' Akio thought as he saw the mulitple Kyoma's, Akio was able to notice the kunai flying at him just in time to deflect it by throwing the one in his left hand. As he threw the kunai with his left hand, Akio was pulling a explosive tag out of his leg pouch with his right. As the multiple Kyoma's neared, pulling back their arms, as if about to punch, Akio tossed the tag to the ground behind him to make sure she didn't see it untill after her attack. As the Kyoma's swung forward, Akio dove back, gaining momentom as each Kyoma hit him.

((Yeah sorry, I ment that Akio started to dive backwords right before or as Kyoma hit him, as to take up time for, and gain enough speed to dodge, the tag to expload before Kyoma would notice it))

After the exploasion, Akio stood up and began making hand signs, once again preforming the hidden mist jutsu. While in the cover of the mist, Akio made more hand signs, preforming the water clone jutsu. Akio made three clones, making four of him in total. Akio then spred out, when the mist would clear (which it hasn't yet) Akio would be in a triangle formation, with one of him in the middle. Each tip of the triangle would be five meters from the Akio in the middle.

((I hope I explained this well enough, if not, just tell me.))

(You said that Kyoma would notice it after her attack, which probably wouldn't have gaven you enough time to dodge the explosion as well)

Again with this jutsu? Kyoma thought to herself, watching as the mist came back. Whatever, I just got to trap him, right? If he's in that mist, this should be an easy trick. She quickly formed more handsigns, focusing her chakra, and then hit the ground with her right palm. "Doton: Jishin no Jutsu!" She smirked as the ground beneath the mist began to shake violently and then started crumbling amongst the mist. The dirt from the ground mixed in with the mist and the ground crumbled in, creating a massive whole and taking in chunks of the earth with it.

As the ground continued to shake a bit more, she jumped a few meters back and pulled out another kunai. She held it in front of her with her right hand, knowing that she should be prepared for an attack, even if hers was sure to have worked.

((Sorry that I'm uber-late. Last week was spring break and this week we had final exams. I haven't logged onto Gaia since 2 weeks ago crying ))
