Standing alone in the center of the extremely large battle arena, Death looked around at the mass of civilians in the stands who had shown up for this wonderful occasion. The dome was closed and bright lights hung from the spherical ceiling; they illuminated the area so that the chuunin candidates could be more easily evaluated. A gentle echo could be heard from the crowd; thanks to the dome, sounds were amplified. The town would be able to see and hear every part of the first ever Chuunin Exam.

Silence fell upon the people as Death rose his hand as a warning that he was about to speak. At the top of his lungs, he yelled, "Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! Are you ready?!" The crowd roared in anticipation, hardly able to wait for the appearance of the contestants. "Help me in welcoming our second match: Kenji Soryuu versus Hiro Roshin!" This was the que for both candidates to make their spectacular entrances.

Rashir walked up the stands to see that the battle had not yet started. He found a seat in the front row so he could see all of the action. "COME ON HIRO YOU CAN DO IT!!!" he yelled to help motivate him while waving his arms in the air. He then clenched his right arm because it was still hurt. Damn it! he thought to himelf, I forgot that my arm was still hurt. Rashir sat back up and readied himself for the action.

Rashir turned to a voice that he heard, seeing Kaisho. "Hey Kai," he said signlaing him with his good arm to come have a seat, "Last one in the front row. Come take a seat."

Soryuu Kenji
Nameless Village | Nature's Guard | Genin

"Well this is certainly fun..." Kenji said with a bit of a smile towards Death as if to say he was more amused then upset. In his boredom, Kenji began to play with the water around him, manipulating the water into small spheres of liquid in his hands as he tossed it around from hand to hand, seemingly playing a game with himself to pass the time. "Do you think that maybe the 8 foot tall image was too much for him to take? I thought about making it smaller, but you said to go all out, so I made it as big as I could. Hopefully I didn't scare Hiro away..." Again, Kenji smiled at his comment, with the obvious intention of showing that he was amused with his own joke which he was making at Hiro's expense in his absence.

"Oh well, hopefully he'll show up at some point, or we're just going to have to start picking people out of the crowd." With a joking smirk and chuckle behind his words, Kenji play shot the ball of water he was holding over Death's head to land on the ground opposite him, which he repeated with several balls of water which he seemed to be drawing from the molecules in the air. It started to become a game for Kenji to see how much of the ground he could wet on the other side of Death without getting Death wet himself.

{{Well, I can't say that I didn't see it coming. He had a lot of disagreements within the guild as to what was an acceptable level of power for a Genin and in what was fair and unfair in an RP battle. I was looking forward to having Kenji engage him too.

Maybe I'm just so hardcore, I scared him away. cool }}
