lysia_nyteblade: Dust swirled her hooves as she stepped down, avoiding a rather large misquete bush. Her mane and tail blew haphazardly in the wind that was picking up. The sky was cloudy and gray with the promise of rain in the smell of the breeze.

moonlit-raven:
Normally Kisha wouldn't be this far from her forest, but she had been bored, and after that, thing, with the stallion, needed to get away for a bit. That was why she was here, in the desert. It was quiet and the dust tickled her nose, and in the distance, she though she saw something, another horse perhaps. "Hello?" she called out, her tail twitching.

lysia_nyteblade: Hearing a rather distan 'hello', her ears perked and she looked around. Finally seeing the other mare in the distance, she smiled some. "Hello!" She called back and began to make her way towards the other figure.

moonlit-raven There was little that she could do until the other came closer, and so she waited, watching closely. It wasn't anyone she recognized, and thus, might be a threat, but on the other paw, she might not be. At the very least, this would keep away her boredom, for the moment.

lysia_nyteblade: As she drew closer, she nodded a greeting, stopping with as much distance so as not to make the other uncomfortable. "I'm shoshana." It was always nice to know the names of others. A smile crept into her eyes that warmed them with a friendly glow. "Everyone calls me sho for short though. what brings you out to the desert, do you live here?"

moonlit-raven: My name is Kisha," the feline answered, grinning. The mare seemed harmless enough, though she did know that looks could be deceiving, but Kisha was pretty sure that she would be able to defend herself from the flowery mare if necessary. "And, no, I don't live here. My den is in the forest, but I was needing a change of scenery." She paused. "I assume you don't live here either, judging by your question. Where does your den lie, if you don't mind me asking?"

lysia_nyteblade: "My den?" She'd never hear of her normal sleeping area refered to as a den before. This brought a rather happy giggle from her, a few rose petals scattering in the wind. " I suppose you could say that I live in the forest as well, though I often wander about.. My two-legger seems to prefer the forest." The human she'd stumbled acrossed was an ok companion and good for cored apples when she wanted them. Thus she'd foremd a small friendship and trust with the female. Even if she didn't often see her much.

moonlit-raven: I see." The mare tilted her head. "She's not a Rocket is she?" Kisha herself wasn't all that fond of two-leggers, but she only really dealt with the gym leader and the Rockets who had taken over the gym, so she had a bit of a biased view of things. She supposed that there might be humans that weren't bad, and if they did dwell in her forest, she hadn't caused any problems, and this Sho, seemed to like her well enough.

lysia_nyteblade: Shaking her head she giggled some. "No." She smiled. "She's rather friendly. She'll core apples and give them to you if you stick around long enough and stick your nose in her herb bag looking for them. "She still had the smell of sweetgrass and other herbs lingering in her nostrils from when she stuck her nose mistakenly in the herb bag.

moonlit-raven: Kisha giggled as well. The amusement seemed to be catching. "That's good," she responded, her tail wagging. It seemed silly to stick one's nose in a bag, but perhaps things were different around two-leggers. "So what are you doing out here? Are you looking for something?"It wasn't a bad place to be, though it was dry and the dust tended to be annoying, but she wasn't sure why anyone would want to come out here. To be honest, she wasn't sure why she had chosen to come out this way, besides the fact that she had never been. Curiosity was a cat's weakness after all.

lysia_nyteblade: "Looking for something? Oh no, I just never had been out here so I figured, 'why not' I've been trough other deserts befor but eath one is diferent in their own way. I guess you could say I was simply cruiours and feeling my explorative bug again." She smiled. She often did get herself into some rather interesting situations simply due to her nack for exploring the unknows out of sheer curiosity.

moonlit-raven: "Curiosity, I understand," she purred, her ears flicking. "The unknown does tend to be more intriguing than what we know. Of course, that might just be a personal preference, but from what I've seen, curiosity is one of those things that everyone indulges in sometimes." She grinned. "It is an odd coincidence that we were both out here at the same time though, almost as if we were meant to run into each other. But perhaps it's just me." She didn't often go off on tangents, but sometimes, they just slipped out. Hopefully the other mare wouldn't think that she was too crazy.

lysia_nyteblade: "True.. though I tend to find curiosity leading me more often than naught." She turned some so that her mane and tail wasn't being blown directly into the other mare's face or anything. "You're right.. quite strange seeing as neither of us are actually desert dwellers." She couldn't help but to chuckle some. "Then again I seem to find others around in strange places.."

moonlit-raven: "Oh?" Kisha wondered. "Do you?" It was more of a rhetorical question than not, and she didn't expect the mare to answer. There were some pretty strange place to be found in the land, she herself knew of a jeweled cave tucked away in the mountains near the river. "Most of the ones I run into are on the plains, or running about the forest."

lysia_nyteblade: "That's just about where I've seen most of the one's I've run into.. then again I'm not just speaking of these lands.. I'm not really from around here origionally I just wound up here through my travles." She thought some a fond smile on some of the sights she'd seen. albeit she was alone and had no one to share them with she had still seen them.

moonlit-raven: "I'm not a native of these lands either," Kisha admitted. "The Rockets brought me, and I've been wandering here ever since. I'm from Hoenn originally, but I don't think that I'm ever going to go back there. I've rather fallen in love with these lands. Where do you come from, if you don't mind me asking?"

lysia_nyteblade: Her ears gave a small twitch, though not a sign of annoyment.. mearly flicking away a bee that had attempted to fallow her roses. " Where? Fare off.. No name I remember of it really. I left it when I was still rather a foal. The call of exploration and excitement of the unknown rather swept me away. Even if i could remember the name of it or how to get back I doubt I'd ever return.." She gave a small content sigh. "I've no real family there that I know of.. or would even remember I should think."

moonlit-raven: Kisha nodded. She could understand that, a very reasonable reason for not ever returning. "Have you family here? Or just the two-legger?" She herself wasn't particularly concerned about family, though she supposed that would have to change now that she had a kitten of her own to watch.

lysia_ nyteblade: Shaking her head she smiled though a small bit of the happy glow had left. Only for a small moment though before it was replaced once more. "Just me and the two-legger. Though I think she and another two-legger are plotting against me.. I've heard whispers about setting me up with a stallion who has antlers and looks rather close to a deer." She thought on this some before breaking out into a fit of giggles. "Forgive me... I just has an image of a foal running around with roses tangled in it's antlers..."

moonlit-raven: Kisha frowned. "And you would let this two legger do this. Don't you have a say?" She shook her head. Perhaps she wasn't one to talk, after all, she had gotten knocked up by a stallion that she had never met before, and she didn't even have the excuse of it being a two-legged's fault. Of course, if the mare didn't mind, it wasn't her place to talk. Kisha giggled, her mind drawn to the image that that had produced. It would be cute, though she wasn't sure that a foal would have antlers big enough to be tangled by roses, but she supposed that wasn't the point. "I'm sure it'd be adorable though."

lysia_nyteblade: "Have a say? I'm not sure I would really though I would like to meet this potentiol fling.. I've heard he's rather nice." She shrugged some as she thought some more. "I may have to actually investigate this potential stallion on my own at some point." Smirking some she nodded. "Adorable maybe... Though it could turn out to be something a foal might begrudge me for." She frowned at the thought.

moonlit-raven: "It is possible," Kisha admitted, her mind drifting to her own traits that her kitten might inherit. "But, on the other hand, they might not. I know that the roses make you look rather pretty, and I'm sure that they would do the same for any child you might have." She grinned. "Besides, you don't have any say in how your genetics will turn out. For all you know, they might not inherit any of your flowers."

lysia_nyteblade: "True." She seemed to smile at this thought. Having a son loaded with flowers seemed to give her some alarm to think about. but atleast she found comfort in this one thought. "Then again who knows.. This pairing may not even manage to go through. I hear not many are really lucky to be blessed with breedings."

moonlit-raven: "The gods have their own plans," Kisha said, "and it is not our place to know it." She grinned. "I suppose you can always kidnap my kitten. I know it's not the same as having own of your own, but perhaps it'll be good practice while you wait. You could be the little one's aunt or something."

lysia_nyteblade: "Aunt?" She blinked a few times. It hadn't dawned on her that the mare before her had a young one of her own. " I'd be glad to baby sit if you didn't mind. I wouldn't want to impose or anything. I know family bonds can be rather touchy to some parents..." She smiled, though she was beginning to feel a bit grimy with the dust picking up and settling in her fur and mane and tail. "I'm sure when my time comes it will happen." She nodded. "I would like to though help you as an aunt figure if you really don't mind.. Like you said good practice."

moonlit-raven: "I would welcome the help. It wasn't exactly intentional for me to have kittens, but what's done is done, and I'm not about to abandon it. The male has its twin, and we will see how much interaction they'll have as they get older." She smirked. "I suppose that means you have a family here now."

lysia_nyteblade: Nodding, she couldn't help but to giggle some. "Unexpected? I guess these things happen I congradgulate you on the offspring even if it was a rather surprise happening. I'll be happy to be apart of this now built family." She did wonder for a moment if her own family was out there some where and if she'd ever had any siblings. Shaking the thought away, she gave a small sneeze from the dust and looked over towards the direction she knew the less dusty plaines and forest to be. "I know a lake that has our names on it Kisha, what says you to a nice bath?"

moonlit-raven: "A bath would be nice," she responded, knowing that her fur was starting to get all dusty. She didn't normally care for baths, preferring to just wait for a rainstorm, but desperate times called for slightly more desperate measures. "Lead the way."

lysia_nyteblade: With a nod, she turned around and began to trot int he direction of the lake she had in mind. the dust was starting to settle in her white hair causing it to look rather cackie in color and the roses were now wilting and falling from her hair. She'd have to have the two-legger do the roses nicely once more for her.

((couldn't match yer color post and so i just made it purple ok))

moonlit-raven: Kisha followed the mare, for once not stalking someone whom she was following. She was pretty sure that this lake wouldn't be here in the desert, but it didn't really matter. Her familiar was watching the basket, and it wasn't like it could get into any trouble right? "So, where is this lake that we're heading to anyways?"

lysia_nyteblade:"In the forest... It's more of a pond really than a lake.. giving the size of it.. but it's clear clan water all the same." She chuckled as she made her way around a thorned bush. She'd have hell to pay it her tail and mane got caught up in that.

moonlit-raven: Thorns weren't particularly an issue for her, but she circled around it anyways, not feeling like leaping over it at the moment. "That's always good. Some of the ponds in the forest aren't always the clearest." There was one in particular that she was thinking of, one close to her current lair, that never seemed to be clean, and
she supposed that she should probably move, especially now that she would have her kitten to take care of. "Are there a lot of horses that use it?"

lysia_nyteblade: "Not that I know of... It's sort of hidden away in a small clearing past a thicket... You have to know where to go to get in really." She laughed some almost beaming at the thought that she had found a place no one else knew of.

moonlit-raven: "Very nice," she responded. "Everybody needs a place like that. Someplace to go when you're not in the mood to see any other people." She grinned. "Of course, you don't seem like the type to need too much alone time, though I could be wrong."

lysia_nyteblade: "I've had my fair share of times I wanted to be alone.. Mostly why I left home at a young age.. My feet carried me away and I just haven't returned. I mostly wander when I wish to be alone. Though it sometimes can bring me some fun company." She mused as they reached the forest edge finally.

moonlit-raven: "Well, I guess that makes sense," Kisha responded, thankful to see the forest. The desert had been nice, but it certainly wasn't anywhere she would want to live. Far to dry and dusty for her tastes. She much preferred the forest, lots of prey, and plenty of shadowy places for her to lurk. "I prefer hiding away when I'm not in the mood for company, but everybody has their own preferences."

lysia_nyteblade: She nodded all the same. "True.. I really have enjoyed you're company all the same though, Kisha.." She couldn't help but smile. "I guess maybe this makes us friends?" She hoped they would be considered friends now since the other mare was really quite nice.. if even a bit odd. But oddities were just the best quirks of others sometimes.

moonlit-raven: Odd, yes, she was odd, and she stared at the mare for a moment, a grin creeping onto her face. "Friends?" she purred. "Perhaps. You aren't prey, but you're not particularly a predator, so I suppose so. I like you, in any case, and so, I suppose, that does make us friends."
She giggled. "I like this idea, of us being friends," she responded, before pausing. She hadn't really had a friend before, acquaintances sure, lots of them, but never a friend. "Although, I'm not quite sure what friends are supposed to do?"

lysia_nyteblade: Shoshana stopped to ponder this a moment. "What friends do? hmm.. Ya know, I'm not quite sure eaither." She laughed some. "I guess we can just figure it out as we go alone." She smiled. It was good to have a friend. after all, she never did really stay in one place for too long to make friends. Since she had a friend now and a little basket she was not an aunt figure to she figured she'd make
this land her new home.

moonlit-raven: "Guess we'll have to," Kisha responded. Maybe there wasn't anything in particular that they were supposed to do, but it would be fun to figure out. She smirked. "So, are we there yet?" She was teasing the other mare, since there wasn't a pond in view, and she couldn't smell water in the air yet. It might be close, but she didn't think it was right in front of them.

lysia_nyteblade: "Just a little further actually..." She picked up her past in a trott and looked around at the area. Nodding to herself she ducked down a path that looked to be nothing more than a game trail. Stopping she looked back to wait for the other mare. "It's just down this way.."

moonlit-raven: "Alright," she followed the mare, looking down at the ground. It was clear that Shoshana was right about there not being many visitors to this place, the only tracks around were that of prey, and the occasional fox track. It was a pretty section of the forest though, and she pondered briefly about moving into this area, but quickly dismissed it. It was a little too hidden for her taste. Just because she didn't really care for people much, didn't mean that she didn't enjoy being around them, and if she wanted to retreat, she did have her little cave.

lysia_nyteblade: She returned to her trot down the trail. Soon it began to look more over grown still before finally giving way to the thicket. As she moved through, she looked around. Birds were chirping loudly, singing the joys of the day. With a small laugh, she tossed her head and reared in a more foal like playful manner before sprinting off in the direction she knew the pond to be.

moonlit-raven: As they followed the trail, she began to hear the birds chirping, and she knew that they were close to the thicket. It was prettier than she suspected it would be, and when Sho sprinted off, she darted off after her. "Are we racing now?" she yelled happily. She hadn't run like this in a while, just running, not chasing anything, and she remembered just how much she enjoyed it.

lysia_nyteblade: "I guess so!" She laughed as she sped up running faster towards the other end of the thicket. Running brought her more joy and glee that she couldn't help but to want to run even more, her tail and mane trailing off behind her like a white ribbon with roses.

Raven:
Kisha smiled, trusting that the other mare wouldn't run them into anything. "How much farther?" she asked. It wasn't that she minded the running, or the exploring, but she was a bit curious about how large this thicket was.

Lys:
"Not much further at all." And of course she was right, It didn't take them too much longer before she had reached the other side and was pushing through the brush. A hidden path gave way to her as she walker, disappearing into the brush. "Come on!, It's not very thick just cross wher I did."

Raven:
She had paid close attention to where Sho had crossed, and followed after her. It was surprising how much she trusted the other mare not to be leading her into danger, but maybe that was a good thing. Maybe she did need people other than herself, and this girl, Sho, did seem like the interesting sort.

Lysia:
She stood out in a small cozy clearing that had a rather clear pond at it's edge. "Here we are.." She smiled warmly. "I told you it was a safe haven." She couldn't help but to chuckle lightly. It was nice having others around her. It made her think about how maybe just maybe a group was much better than being off on her own. She certainly wanted to help this other mare out with her little one in the future.

Raven:
It was a pretty place, and she was glad that the other mare had been willing to share it with her. "This place is gorgeous," she commented. "Thanks for showing it to me." Kisha smiled. "We'll have to make sure that this place stays a safe haven. I'd hate to see it ruined."

Lysia:
Nodding, she grinned once more. "It would be a shame for it to become ruined. It's such a perfect little spot to let little ones roam." She walked over to the water's edge and took a small sip. "At least this pond's spring fed though.. no stagnate water." She chuckled softly. "You know.. I was thinking.. Have you ever considered maybe raising your little one in a herd setting? I mean sure there's you to look after it but.. many eyes are always better than just one set."

Raven:
The other mare had a point, and she briefly imagined this place filled with foals, hers and Sho's, and a few others. It was a happy thought and she smiled. "We'll make sure that doesn't happen." At Sho's question, Kisha blinked. She hadn't ever thought about even being in a herd herself, usually preferring to be alone, but when she put it like that... "I've never really considered it. I don't trust most people so I guess it would just depend on who's herd it was."

lysia:
"I see, I guess I can't blame you either with not trusting most. I use to wander around so much I just never stayed long to really get to know them. I plan on changing that though, I'm young still but yet old enough to know that It's now better for me in the long run to find a home of my own. I've missed out on so much traveling from place to place. It's been fun but I'm ready for a new adventure. One where I have permanent friends and maybe some day a family." She shook her head some looking at Kisha. "Sorry, I went a bit serious on you and rambled about some things. But it's not so bad I guess. I mean I view you as one of my first of many friends to be."

Raven:
Kisha nodded. The other mare had a point, perhaps starting a new adventure, one that required her to stay in one place for longer than a short period of time, might not be such a bad idea. Especially with her foal. Traveling wasn't really the ideal way to raise a small one. "It's not a bad thing at all." She smiled. "And we are friends. The fates have said so."

Lysia:
"I'm glad we're friends. It makes life so much more fun to know that there's some one out there you can depend on when you need them. " Grinning she gave looked around and then up at the sky, She could see the day was getting late. "Oh my.. seams the day light's been burning away while we've been having fun. I'm sure your young one will be missing you about now. You're always welcome to come back here whenever you wish you and your little one." Smiling warmly, she stiffled a bit of a yawn herself. They'd had a nice run, one which as fun as it had been burnt up some energy. "I hope you don't think me rude if I nap though. I'm a tad sleepy now after all the fun we've had."

Raven:
Kisha nodded. Where had the time gone? She could have sworn that they had only started to hang out. "Thank you for showing me this place," she responded. "I'll definitely take you up on that offer, and next time I'll bring the little one along as well. Can't have little one's running around here if we never bring them." She smiled. "I probably should be going." She turned to walk out, trusting in herself to be able to find the way out. "I'll see you later." She darted back out of the area, heading back to her home and to the little one she had left there.
