I am in a guild which does announcements. They get irritated when no one is posting and they also like to tell us when something neat is going on.
I am sure if there are some contests and junk, people will come. So, use the announcements to your advantage: ask people to post. There are way too many zeros in the posts section just make sure not you sound angry. >_< The other guild I am in kind of does and that makes me people go, "No. Cluck that." Just say, "Hey girls. We can't wait to see you and see what you are like! Please come and post!"
All those zeros for the posts are downers. ;~;
I am also thinking of making a contest for the thread and I am curious if you would think it is a good idea: Gaia Online's Next Top Mori Girl.
It'd be like a fashion show and the winner, at the end of whatever amount of time, gets a gold prize. Of course the prize will come from me and my playing with aquariums (it's the fastest thing I can think of to get gold from). Do you think they would like that?

about Mori next top model, I have assigned K9prettygirl to host a weekly mori girl tektek avatar contest.
I'm interested in what your talking about though. Do you mean like posting pictures of yourself IRL and make a contest our of it?
I think It sounds fun, as long as the contest stays "friendly".
Post it in pictures and inspiration if you do want to make this.

for the outfitcontests
i'd suggest more directions, more themes!!
like one for each seasons, rainy days, only blue, fruitpicking, running from the wolf, storytimes, etc!
even a raver, monster, something unrelated~
since it's not very active right now i'd keep the contests for two weeks at least each
or until 10 persons entered?
i'd also put all the contestant's posts in the first post
so we can all see them at once and judge
well before voting n_n
that's just suggestions
but that's more about managing threads...anyway!
(oh and only one avatar contest at a time?
let's not burn ourselves too fast!)

just a gift for contributing in general
no matter how slow they were to xP
cooking contest would be nice, like prettiest bakeries and whatnot! cupcakes are very in, but i can think of LOTS of pretty food @ 3@

having more contest would be great
this guild moves rather slow so
maybe some contest this summer
like a irl summer mori girl contest would be really great!
