 River lay on the boundary of her pack, a squirrel was running around her frantically. She laughed as it ran up a tree and then fell out, "dear you should be more careful. I would like you in one piece when Diego meets you!" The squirrel turned to her and looked incredibly cute, only making the alpha laugh once more.
She stood up stretching and walked over to pick the squirrel up, instead she let it run onto her back where it perched as she looked around. She wouldn't wander out her lands, with Diego wandering off so much and the Beta's not announced yet she would be better off staying home, how she longed to meet others though.

The sun was out and shining this day but no as brightly as it normally did. A white female with a pattern of blue named Kasa was roaming a very unfamiliar place. She walked along the river staring at her reflection in the water. Kasa paused for a moment, knelt her head down and took a brief drink from the pool. The cool water slid down her throat. Such a great feeling she thought to herself. The female picked her head back up and trudged on. Eager to meet others she picked up her pace a bit.

The squirrel jumped off the alphas back and ran off, oh how it loved to annoy her that it could go where it pleases. River was somewhat shocked when it returned with news of a wolf. "Are you sure little one? They don't normally come this way because of the human village?" After listening to the squirrel for a while she sighed. "I guess I should go and meet her then!" She lowered her head and let the squirrel clamber onto her back before they headed off down the river, she loved this river and the waterfall it came from. Her home, it was beautiful.

Kasa slowed down to catch her breath for a moment. As she paused her ears perked up hearing a small rustling sound in the near distance. The female cautiously turned her head scanning the area for friend or foe. The noise was becoming louder. She came to a hault and saw a squirrel chipperly running around. "Phew..." she mumbled to herself, but she spoke to soon. Kasa spotted an Alpha wolf coming towards her. She braced herself in fear of what to do next.

The squirrel jumped off the alpha and ran around the strange femme before running back to River where she nuzzled the little one. She then looked at the strange wolf and bowed her head, "Hello there, I am River, alpha of these lands, may I ask who you are?" She had a soft soothing voice and was one of the nice alphas, ok her mate was insane but she was nice enough.

She looked at the squirrel running wildly around her. "Errm..Hello, I'm Kasa." She was still confused to where she was, but she didn't want to show it towards the alpha. "So, you run this place eh?" She looked around for the alpha's pack just incase an attack could have been planned. Not letting her guard down Kasa watched the alpha's every move.

River smiled at the other, "It is nice to meet you." She licked at her lips nd walked towards the water to lap some up, the squirrel running around her feet. Once she had finished her drink she looked to the femme and let out a chuckle, "don't worry the pack is at the den we have some food if you wish to eat with us? We welcome visitors, not kill them unlike some others." She never mentioned her former pack unless someone was thinking of going there, look what they did to Diego, her darling mate.

Kasa relaxed her muscles a bit seeing that River wasn't a threat to her. Hmm food she thought to herself. "Food sounds rather good now that you mention it" she said nodding her head. "How far is your den?" Kasa asked. "If it's far we better get going."

She smiled at the femme, "It isn't far, if you follow the river you will get to the end of it where there is a waterfall, our den is under the waterfall, you can only get there be swimming and a way that only the pack members know, its a safety thing that we ahve. It works well though." she smiled and looked down to the squirrel who bounded off between some bushes, "Come, I will show you, it isn't far." She smiled and started to walk off allowing the other femme to follow if she wished.
