Deimos wasn't really sure what he thought about his Momma setting up meetings for him with other children. It seemed that because the meeting with Kay had seemed to go well that the kirin believed that they should try to recreate that luck. The pink haired boy wasn't sure what he thought about it though... he wanted to be left alone at home where it was safe, to play with Wynn, and not worry about anything else as he knew there were a lot of dangers outside the house! It had taken a lot of talking on Jiang's part to get his son to follow along with him, to go with him to the meeting.

Currently though it didn't look as though he'd come along... the boy was invisible, refusing to come into sight until he saw the one he was supposed to be meeting and how scary she appeared to be.

"I think that is her." Jiang said finally, motioning with a hand at the young girl that he had made the play date with for his son.

Dei looked in the direction he was pointing at and at first she didn't look so bad until he saw the markings all over her. Oh... no, was she being attacked by some sort of plant monster? His eyes went huge and he stepped in closer to Jiang, clinging to the rainbow haired Kirin, nearly tripping him up as he couldn't see what his boy was doing or where he was until he was right underfoot.

"Ahh... Deimos, careful please." He whispered to the boy, looking around to try to figure out what it was that had started him.

"It is nice to meet you Victoria, my name is Jiang." He murmured, giving her a gentle smile before he shifted his arm and gave the one at his side a little nudge, "Deimos, come on out... you don't have to be scared." He didn't but he was so bad about such things... didn't do well with strangers, even more so since they had visited the curio shop...

There was a long, drawn out moment where nothing happened and it took a while of debate before Deimos finally stopped channeling the power that he had in effect and came into sight, clinging to Jiang's robes. He looked at Victoria and despite being older then her it was easy enough to tell that he was afraid of her.

"Good, good." Jiang murmured, giving him a proud look before he looked back to the red haired girl.

Deimos gave a bit of a nod in reply to her comment that his power was something that came in handy. It was just that and good for escaping from frightening things. Her promise that she wasn't going to look at him and would play nice had a nice sound to it which had the pink haired boy relaxing slightly.

Jiang looked down at the children before he smiling, glad to see that there was a chance that Deimos was going to be comfortable with this girl, "It is nice to meet you Vlad. My name is Jiang and this is Deimos." He said, reaching out to take the man's hand, giving it a shake, "I thank you as well, Deimos is a little shy so its a little hard for him to make friends."

He looked down at the table that Vlad had gotten for them and helped Deimos to sit down, smoothing his hair gently, "Something to eat would be nice." He said, "What do you think, Deimos?"

He nodded his head slowly, "Alright." He said a moment of though before his attention went over to the girl that he had come to meet with. He studied her silence, she didn't look to scary up close... in fact the plant that he'd thought was attacking her instead looked as though it were just some sort of markings on her skin he realized. He gave a smiled and looked a bit relieved knowing that she was safe. For a moment he'd almost had to add viney plants to the things he was afraid of.

Deimos looked up at the girl then over to Jiang and finally Vlad, the idea of eating somewhere more private did sound nice as he didn't like crowds. To many people just left the boy nervous and he wasn't sure if he would really be able to eat that much even if he were feeling hungry. At the same time he worried that if he were being a huge bother that he wouldn't be able to make many friends, "I-I'm alright." He said finally.

Jiang laid a hand gently on his son's hand after he'd spoke as though to reassure him, "We wouldn't want to be a hassle, I am sure that here will be alright." He told the pair they were sharing a meal with.

The quiet boy lifted one hand to fiddle with a lock of his brightly colored hair as Victoria called attention to him. He smiled at her shyly, "T-Thank you." He said finally, shyly.

Jiang gazed at the food that placed before the two they were dining with before after a moment he turned to look up at the waitress, "Do you have things on the menu that contain no meat?" Jiang and Deimos both eat no meat or anything related to it like eggs. Being what he was the kirin couldn't eat anything that was alive or meant to become life, his favorite things to eat were flowers but he doubted highly that they would sell them in a place like this.

The pink haired boy paused in his inspection of the menu to look over at the woman as well, curious to see what her answer was. He had been more then happy to follow his Momma when it came to what he should eat, he didn't like the idea of eating other animals as he had the intense fear that they would find out and come after him for it... the last thing he wanted was to get mauled by animals rebelling against being eaten.

Jiang seemed to perk up when the waitress said that their was a full menu for such things, how wonderful! His ears gave a happy little twitch as she went to go and get the special menu for the pair of them, "It is quite good of your brother to have such things." He said in a happy manner. He would have been able to deal with picking out the things that he didn't like but to have things specially made was even better as there would be no left over meat taste in his food which would be well appreciated by the Kirin.

He gave the waitress a bright smile when she returned, "Thank you very much." He murmured, laying the menu on the table so that he and Deimos could look through it. It took a bit of a time for them to decide due to Deimos and his overwhelming fear and dislike of certain colors. Once he was able to find a salad and some fruit that didn't contain any of those colors he ordered that for both himself and for Deimos for the waitress. So long as their weren't any 'warm' colors things would be fine.

Deimos seemed pretty happy with what was chosen for their meal, eager to get it so that he could eat.

Jiang gave a smile, "Alright." He murmured, seeming quite excited over having a meal of such sweet and special fruit. It would take a lot of luck with finding all of those things at the grocery store at the same time which had him in the best of moods. That the food would be group to them soon only made it that much better. The kirin's long ears were swishing in a rapid, happy fashion, hooves tapping against the floor making him seem like a kid in a candy store.

Deimos looked up at him with a smile before turning back to Victoria, "Momma teaches me all the things I need to learn." He explained, remembering all the fun they had when learning to read and write, he was working on having just as neat of handwriting as Jiang himself had. He gave a smile, "What sorts of things are you learning?" He asked curious of the girl.
