Oaka sat on the beach, watching the waves crash against the shore. She smiled slightly, her ears twitched. Most beautiful, aye. She rocked back and forth with the breeze. Bored, she got up and bolted to the houses, her hair billowed out behind her and her tail fluttered.

Jake ran to the beach.The sky was dark and there were loud rumbles.The waves crashed on the shoreline as the rain started to pour.A perfect place to cry,Jake thought.Jake let all his unhappy thoughts take over him and started ti cry.

Oaka saw Jake and knelt next to him, "Dear friend, why do you cry?" She rested her hand on his shoulder comfortingly. "Today, the sky may cry, but that does not mean you should..." She nuzzled his cheek gently.

Karlie looked up at the sky as rain fell on her face and a gust of wind blew her hair back. She then noticed Jake and Oaka and walked over to them. "Hi you two!" she greeted. "What's up?"

Oaka squealed and rolled away from Jake, her face brighter red than blood. "N-nothing..." A strong gust of wind tore at her ears and tail, causing her to shiver.

"Oh, okay," Karlie replied. She then leaned over and said, "Don't worry. I won't say a thing!" The red-headed girl then felt a shiver down her spine as another gust blew in her direction.

Oaka smiled, "Thank you, so much." Her ears pinned to her head, she shivered again. "We must take flight! The storm wil arrive but in seconds!" She stumbled to her feet and looked around desperately.
