Today was the first day that they were going to start the whole moving process. Since his growth, he'd had an easier time helping Na move the boxes from the second floor to the basement, and by the time today rolled around they were more or less just waiting for the Ospice family and their things. Well, today was that day, and almost immediately Trin and Gera had left, leaving the little blonde girl in the Shop. Switch had left moments after, claiming she forgot something at home...followed shortly by something that sounded suspiciously like a threat to Kay's wellbeing if the little girl came to any harm.
So, in the end, it was just Kay and this little blonde girl, alone in the shop. The young Shaman was seated on the floor with his legs folded in front of him, his knuckles resting on the ground in front of them. He was just staring at the little girl that was so easily left in his care. She was a cute little girl, he had to admit that...but the blonde hair brought back horrible blood stained memories from a few days prior. He buried those memories though, because this little girl was not the same one that had clung to him, covered in blood.
Still. It was awkward to be left alone with a little girl, especially one that wasn't family...and one that he was apparently supposed to be babysitting. He'd never baby sat before!
"Soooo...you're a kid. Yup. How's that goin for yah?" He asked with a bit of a grin, lifting a hand so his palm faced the girl, spreading his fingers like he wanted a high five.

Being given to Kay to look after wasn't a big deal. Usually it was big brother Gera who tended to her anyway. So it wasn't like she was hugely attatched to Trin, not so much she would bawl her eyes out if Trin left. So she sat on the floor staring at Kay studying him. Thinking he was the neatest thing since slice bread.
When he offered the high fave she burst out into squeallig giggles, her current outfit a random jangle of a zebra print one peice that seemed like a shirt and skirt in one. Witha big collar that was leapord print. She was staring at him before she suddenly got up and went to tackle hug that said hand.
"HI!" She squealled.

Kay nearly squawked when she suddenly got up to pounce on him, caught somewhere between catching the girl and stopping Nahual from biting her. The snake didn't like toddlers, and now that they were both bigger that didn't seem to improve any. One hand shot up to grab the preparing to strike Nahual, slamming his jaws shut before he could bite her. The other hand took the tackle but managed to get her to fall against him instead.
"Whoa, careful there Midget!" Kay laughed, releasing Nahual with a bop on his snout to get him to behave. The serpent hissed and curled into his host's hair, which left both hands for Kay to grab her under her arms and to lift her in the air in front of him. "You're a lil' crazy one ain'tcha? Gonna get bitten one day!" He threatened good-naturedly, chomping his teeth at her playfully.
"I'm Kay!" He introduced himself, not remember if anyone else ever did.

She mimicked the biting motion Kay did giggling when finished.
"bite bite!" she continued with a bob of her head as she noticed Nahual she reached up trying to climb Kay so she could get closer to the snake thing.
"Want pet!" she declared as she set about climbing Mount Kay so she could get closer to the snake thing. She paused when she realized she had been asked a question and then went to climb back off of Kay and then moved to step away and then brushed herself off and gave him a curtsy with her skirt...though raised it too high and showed off her undies.
"ROXY! I am." she stated as she then raised her hand and then tried to remember the peace sign and ended up giving him three fingers instead of the two for peace. She then dropped her skirt and pounced Kay again to scale him once more.

Nahual seemed to see that the girl was trying to get at him. His golden eyes seemed to widen and he lifted himself as far from Kay as he physically could, considering he was attached to the boy. The entire time the snake was hissing in warning, sometimes opening his mouth to hiss a little louder at her. Nothing was working! Why wasn't it working?!
Kay couldn't stop laughing, between Nahual's panic and the little girl's enthusiasm, he was a very happy boy. Her curtsey received a curious look and then another laugh when he noticed her panties, reaching out to ruffle her pretty blonde hair. "Hi ROXY!" He called with the same enthusiasm she had, then decided to let her climb him again. This girl was fun! The most fun he'd had with a girl...and it'd only been what, five minutes? Sweet.
Looking around, he found a small elastic on the ground; the kind you close lobster claws with. With one deft movement he got it around Nahual's snout before Roxy could reach him, making sure that the serpent didn't bite her. "You're a brave little midget aren'tcha?" He laughed, grabbing the biteless Nahual and holding him down for her to pet so she wouldn't have to step on his head.

Roxy was thrilled beyond thrilled as he forced the snake to come in close so she could pet it. She had liked the sound it had been making, she found it a very neat sound. And though she wasn't sure WHY the rubber band was used around its mouth she didn't question as she reached out to pet the snake a bit too enthusiastically. She was a toddler...she didn't seem to know what gentle meant.
Giving more giggles she was hugging the side of Kay's face so she could keep her balance and she decided to lean over and kiss Nahaul.
"Pretty snake." She declared in triumph at her discovery before she totterd and slipped off of Kay and landed in his lap. A bit stunned...it took a second before she exploded into more giggles.

Kay grunted on occasion when she climbed on him, and Nahual was absolutely seething at the attention he was getting. He still made those hissing noises, trying his best to get away but, of course, ultimately failing. He laughed a couple times, muffled by the little girl who insisted on hugging his face.
Nahual snorted at the kiss and Kay yelped a bit when she slipped, staring down at her when she seemed...more than okay. Laughing, he picked her up under her arms and stood, lifting her up and over his head to sit her on his shoulders, her little feet against his chest.
"Pretty Snake's name is Nahual! I think he likes you too." The glare he received just screamed otherwise. "Hey, Midget! Hold on tight, yeah?" He called out, stretching his arms out at his sides before running around, playing airplane to the little girl on his shoulders.

She peered up at Nahual and then gave a smile, she liked being on Kay's shoulders and she hugged his head so she wouldn't risk falling off. She did however risk petting Nahual again smiling at the disgrunteled snake.
"I like Nahoo too." she announced horribly mispronouncing its name. She then gave a delighted shriek as the boy ran forward pretending to be a airplance.
"FASTER KAY FAAAAAASTER!" She shrieked happily loving the wind in her hair. And the rather epicness of the feeling of flight.

Nahual hissed but didn't try to get away; this girl, like Kay, was proving to be both unavoidable and inevitable. He snorted when she said she liked him, and buried himself in Kay's choppy hair, hoping that was good enough to hide. It wasn't, but he could pretend.
"Ten-Four, Midget!" Laughing happily, he ran a little bit faster, some dust shaking off of nearby items because of it. Soon he stopped, reaching up to hold Roxy's shoulders in case she toppled (but leaving her on his shoulders) and just...spun in circles, as fast as he could.

The switch from running around to just spinning got peals of laughter from the girl who clung on for dear life. Though she tried to catch sight of everything that blurred around her she knew at the rate they were going she was probably going to be sick.
"Naaah.." she pleaded with a bit of a laugh as she clung for dear life. "Roxy...ddddiiiizzzzy.." she stated the obvious as she swayed a bit on the boys shoudlers.

Kay was getting dizzy too. Really...really dizzy. He still kept a grip on Roxy, but after a while his balance started to stumble, and soon the young man was falling. Suddenly, he was on his butt on the floor! Whoa, how'd that happen! He was still holding onto Roxy, and somehow even Nahual had helped by constricting around the small girl's back, pressing her to Kay's head like a seatbelt on backwards. With Nahual holding her in place, Kay dropped his hands to the ground with a heavy thud.
"Whooooooa that was fun!" He grinned, trying to get his equilibrium back but failing, and he swayed restlessly around. Eventually he started to get over the dizzy, and that was when he started bobbing up and down, jostling the girl on his shoulders.
"What next, Madame Midget?"

At the jarring thud of Kay hitting the foor Roxy was very happy to be 'strapped in' with the help of Nahual and her little arms still clutching at his head. The world still spun around her eyes she gave a queasy laugh as she tried to get the world to look straight.
"No Midget..! What madawm?" the little blonde asked although she had no clue what Kay was talking about aside from midget. Clinging to his head it she huffed a bit as she finally got the world to settle around her.
"Want...want ..." she looked around and then pointed to the floor, "Dance! Want dance! you dance with Roxy?"

"Uhmm...Y'know, Madame...like...an important girl?" He shrugged, still quite dizzy. Kay had heard Madame said on TV and read it in some books Switch made him read on occasion. Eventually the dizzy feeling passed, and when she made her decision, Kay hoisted her off of his shoulders...but instead of putting her on the ground, he flipped her to face him. One arm went under her bum like a chair, and the other held one of her small hands.
"Alright, we'll dance!" With an exaggerated humm of a ballroom dance song, Kay started to dance, dipping and swaying dramatically with her, being careful not to drop her.

A toddler of course had no idea what ballroom dancing was. She hadn't exactly been exposed to a lot of things and the type of dancing she knew well as the type most children her age knew, a lot of flailing those limbs randomly at some sort of beat.
But she didn't care she loved how Kay treated her all important, and she wiggeled her fingers as he held her hand.
"You doin it wwoooong." She stated balefully.

"I am?" Kay said, playing dumbfounded. He's seen how his Na and Chit danced together sometimes, in the living room. But he also knew how to dance like everyone else; he danced himself as a toddler, and occasionally watched music channels on TV when really bored. "Huh, okay then. You should teach me!" After pretending to drop her, he caught her and set her on her own feet, putting his hands on his waist and just waiting for her to show him how to do it 'right'.
