Today, her human took her to the meadow to have a nice romp. Near the river was getting extremely cold because of the water, and Pepper hadn't really taken to it. So here she was. Flicking her tawny tail, the short female took off when her human released her, running around in a huge circle before she got on her hind legs and reared. It was cute, according to her human; the expression on her face made Pepper's heart extremely warm.
When her human sat down in the dead grass, Pepper knew that it was OK to wander off and let her mind drift, which is exactly what the Sabino did. She was happy, yes, but that didn't stop her from missing being around others like herself. The short and stubby and all together better. In her opinion. Pepper wasn't haughty, she just knew she was a special kind of horse.
Her expression went thoughtful before she smiled a bit more and looked around. It might have been winter, but patches of grass were turning green, and winter flowers were still in bloom.

Smiling to himself at the thought, he continued to trot around the fields; it was interesting how different the Kawani lands was compared to Europe. The people, the language, the culture, the scenery... The flora and fauna! There were fruits and plants he had never seen before in the forest, and these flowers in the fields too... How interesting! Then again, back home, he was living in a town; there was no chance of seeing as much nature scenery even if he wanted to.
Then, in the distance, Deus noticed a fellow usdia. He hesitated a little, stopping a distance away; what if the language barrier was a problem? He had been frequently brushed aside by those who didn't understand him and it made him feel rather discouraged. However, something tugged at his heart - the Lord works in mysterious ways. Putting on a warm smile, he approached the other. He bowed his head in greeting as he tried to string a sentence together in Kawani in his head, taking a few seconds to recall the words before offering an apologetic smile, "Hello... Sorry, me no good with... Kawani."
